Description: A powerful form of magic hunted to near extinction due to it's abnormal capabilities. Originally known as Paragons they were an order dedicated and taught how to specifically combat mages. During the initial rise of mages in Fiore and the many who would abuse the gift it seemed reasonable to form such an order. They were charged with hunting those who would abuse magic in any way and was even known for crossing paths with powerful demons and the like. After a world shattering incident in which one of their most esteemed leaders managed to actually kill a god, encouraging what would take out more than 95% of the order. Ethan was taught the art by a lone Paragon who had taken residence in a smaller city in the mountains, making a living out of exorcising nasty earth spirits and had even taken a few apprentices in the city to keep the trade alive. Ethan being one of them, after a certain incident in which his master passed away he and his fellow apprentices spread with the winds to perfect the art in their own way.
A typical mage manipulates energy and forces change within it to produce results. Spellblades do the exact opposite to fight magic. They're especially trained so that their magic "stabilizes" or "pacifies" magic in general. Some Spellblades have even been known to be able to seal beings of magical origin in various ways. The user constantly projects a blue aura while in use and is resistant to magic of all kinds. They're able to freely manipulate their aura and have it solidify as a form of defense while it can also be hardened to enchance and increase the range of physical attacks. The aura's most notable trait however is how it weakens and eventually have magic dissipate at contact. One of their most notable abilities which gave them their specific name though is that to let their aura take on the properties of anothers magic, encoating their blade and aura in whatever element's available as long as it's of magical origin. While quite effective against mages and magical beings in general the user doesn't have an actual edge against beings of a non-magical nature; such as the people of the Isles, Ninja Town or even just common animals. Though the aura's protective abilities remain useful in such situations.

- The user due to his magic revolved around the concept of fighting magic renders the user particularily resistant towards magic in all it's forms depending on his rank. While it renders him resistant to all elements in magical form he has no resistances against the element in its natural form

- Spellblade:
- The trademark ability of the Spellblades; while not perfected just yet it's used to divert another magical beings energy into oneself and apply the element of the spell which was absorbed. As a result the users aura will drastically change in nature and all physical attacks and spells is temporarily converted to the element in question

If aborting an element before the duration ends the cooldown shortens with Number of posts active + 1 / Ex. Activated for 2 posts = 3 posts cooldown

Name: Aura: Cut
Rank: D
Description: The user simply conjures an immense amount of aura into a held weapon then simply cuts vertically, releasing the pent up energy in a straight line which travels across the ground and air as far as 10m away. While usually dealing D-rank damage it counts as a C-rank attack against magical fortifications.
Strengths:
-Effective against magical fortifications
-Fast traveling speed at 18mps
Weaknesses:
-While fast it's very thin and linear.
-Doesn't do any additional damage against non-magical fortifications.
-The direction of the attack can't be changed after firing it
