    Strengths:
    - Shikomizue is  light weight and easy for even a novice to wield .
    - it's cane sheath misleads people to lower their guard.
    Weaknesses:
    - Some what fragile ( 3 weak weapons hits will break the blade )
    - The user cannot use their own blood to restore the blade.
    - Shikomizue is impractical for facing bulky targets head on.
