He had heard numerous rumors about ruins that contained magic crystals meant for various uses. The value in such a rare thing provided him with a bit of incentive to actually check it out. He hoped that it wasn't too late. He'd feel really embarrassed if this journey was for naught. Thought he supposed that was a bit of a stretch, as he did get to enjoy the sun for a little bit. It was actually sunny in this portion of Pandora which was kind of nice. Kai wasn't really a place known for its sun since it was a kingdom of eternal night and all. He enjoyed the way sunlight gleamed on his pitch-black hair as well as his fair skin (not that he was vain; he just appreciated the difference in his look). He had a feeling his newest compatriot might not be too far behind. They both enjoyed their mysteries and secrets. Yes they did..

Job Requirements: Maximum 2 Characters. 100 Words per post. Must roll Normal Dice after every post. Total must be higher than 25.
Job Location: East Pandora > Albastion Ruins
Job Description: There's been many myths about these ruins. No one quite knows why or how they ended up the way they were. You have been received word of Lacrima Crystals strewn across these ruins, scavenged by bandits and zombies. They are weak, and the crytals are rare. You have decided to go against the myths to find out for yourself. But beware, this place is a mystery.
You must roll the "Normal Dice" after every post. Each face will have a different effect on your mission. Add up the number that each dice shows, when you reach a total equal or greater than 25, your mission will be complete.
1 - Nothing Happens
2 - A zombie appears. He is weak and doesn't do anything other than walk at you. You must remove his head to defeat him. His head can be removed by any weapon. Alternatively, you can trap him somewhere, you make your way around him
3 - Nothing
4 - You get an additional Lacrima Shard (2 Max)
5 - A small crowd of zombies appears. They are weak but may run at you if you make too much noise. They will follow you if you are near and will try to bite you for B-ranked damage. They can be beheaded by any weapon, or by any offensive spell that could remove their brain from their body.
6 - A Bandit appears. He is covered in tattered clothing and armed with a sword and knives. He's squirmy and loud and has no magical prowness. He can be killed after taking B-Ranked damage. Alternatively, any crowd of zombies will take care of him for you. He will distract all zombies. (He is hostile, and will try to harm you to take any goods you have taken.)
Reward: 3 Lacrima Shards + D-Ranked Reward Dice (Users will not get Coin Reward)

He was not far off behind, following his newest recruit, planning his next move. Surely this place did not require the use of back-up, but it was still a world to explore. He would look around feverishly, trying to make sure he would make it to the next day. He was sure to be cautious and to not get into trouble that the both of them couldn't handle.
Reaching towards the back of his waist he begun to pull out his sword.
"Lets find the lacrima and get out. There's no telling what we may come across."

IC:Naisu smiled as his new companion accompanied him on this quest. The traveler knew that the strange man was suspicious, but Naisu found him..interesting. They both shared a fascination with the world and discovering secrets and that was probably the only reason they got along okay. "Sounds good to me," the traveler spoke with few words. They had a lot to do, and although normally Naisu liked to chat: this wasn't the best time for it. He pulled out his gun Hades and journeyed carefully into the mysterious cave with the strange man. Quickly unsheathing his blade, he would remove the scabbard as well. He would hold the empty case before Naisu, ensuring that he would stop in his tracks, or get really pissy and fussy. In either case, they both needed to stop moving... for now.

He was one to know the revived corpses if he found them, after all he was the one who mastered Edo Tensei so long ago. But here, in this world, he was nothing but a former prodigy. He needed to find something of value here before he would turn home. Snake was something to be proud of, and these ruins were sure to yield something of value.

When his companion gestured at him with the scabbard, he figured it meant something. He nodded to signal that he understood, and thus stopped all movement completely. "I wonder what he's sensing?" the traveler thought curiously to himself. Perhaps something was coming. Whatever the matter.. he would be sure to be patient and wait for the signal to charge on ahead. He was ready for anything.

"There's two ways we can do this." He said, his voice a constant tone, loud enough for his ally to hear, but soft enough to keep the dead from being alerted to them. "We can wait, and see if they will pass or if we can distract them." He turned to Naisu to continue, "Or we rush in, ready to kill them all."
Kabuto wasn't ready to fight the dead, but would if needed. These ruins were nothing more than the remains of an old city. They could kick down the door of a home and be sure to find some things to take. This trip wasn't an entire waste, even if they left now, they knew the dead were walking, and perhaps they would find a use for them later.

"Unfortunately I don't think waiting is a good idea. And fighting isn't preferable.. but I actually have an idea," the traveler responded back to his companion in the same careful volume. He remembered about an ability he had learned about a long time ago, that had to do with his ancestors. It wasn't a preferable ability, and he kind of hated using it: but it was useful in this case. It could save them from a mess of trouble. "We kill some of them... and I can resurrect up to 2 of them to fight with us so we'll make them kill each other," he instructed. "So whatever you do: don't miss!" Naisu went first charging in with his gun in one hand and an orb of black flame in the other. A single bullet and spell took out two of the zombies at the same time, which left Kabuto with his own to worry about. Kabuto was using a sword apparently which was a bit trickier. The poor lad had to get in close with the zombies and so Naisu tried to help him out. After killing the two zombies, whilst trying to evade the charging mob, Naisu rose up a zombie and forced him to attack his fellow brethren. It was a useful but quite frankly: a fucked up ability. If they weren't monsters, then Naisu would have felt bad for making friends fight each other. Thankfully that wasn't the case.
But there were a lot of them... and this looked bad. Naisu had to be careful otherwise him and Kabuto might not make it out alive!

Description: A ritual with many accounts of how it came into existance, the most famous one being the story of a man who gave his blood to ressurect his brother. The older was later burned alive since he was believed to be a demon and his brother died once more in the proccess, in respect for the 2 it was named into the "Blood Brothers Pact". The rite to obtain this power was later spread through unknown means and some practitioners still exist to pass the art on to the current generation.
Ability: The user is able to summon and resserect the dead for a limited time.
Useage: Call To The Dead: The user resurrects a fallen friend or foe to fight beside them in the current battle. This power can only be used 3 times per thread, and the duration of the resurrection varies based on the user's rank.
(The resurrected target retains all of its' skills and power. Only one target can be resurrected at a time. The duration lasts 2 posts for summons that are the same Class Level as the user. For every class below, the resurrected lasts for +1 post. The user is able to resurrect a target that is a single class above them, however the summon then only lasts one post.)

"Swords don't need reloading." he would say, leaping into action, cleanly slicing the deteriorated flesh from the zombie's neck. It would not cut through his spine, was it was enough weight for his head to snap and break off and away from the body, ultimately killing it in the process.

"If we run I don't think they'll come after us beyond the reaches of this cave," he theorized. It made sense. It was probably why there were never any sightings of zombies outside this cave. This was their home, their nest. If Kabuto and him left the nest, the zombies would probably leave them alone. Naisu used his skeletons to protect them as they made their escape. It was time that the duo returned back to the hideout. They had discovered in this cave to satisfy their curiosity for one day.

Dear person grading this mission. I cannot count, which is a scary thought when you remember I'm the owner.
He would quickly crouch down to pick up a few things from the ground. The knowledge of this city and the cave of the dead was enough to satisfy his hunger for war. Besides, they had recovered a few shards of some mysterious crystal which may have some use to them at a later date. And it could be a key to a new power for a distant land. Kabuto understood far too well.
"We'll come back later." Kabuto said, only before turning away to try to make a mad dash out of the ruin grounds. For this moment he would part from his partner, only to find him outside, to make their way back to base.
