The light dragon appears (Closed)

Lance slowly moved through Urban city with a sort of grimace on his face. It was night time and he was a bit sad "Ugh... how did I end up in a place like this..." he asked himself as he looked around. There were bad people roaming the streets, he could sense them. He clenched his fists and made light glow from his hand "Tch if only I was strong enough then I could do something about it..." he said to himself again as he kept walking.

He wasn't paying attention to where he was walking and ended up tripping and started to fall to the ground.

"It's The Agency." said Aknaid. He was in his full armored suit as always. It... well it wasn't really armored, it really only protected him from criticism. "The people, the disturbance... It's them. They pretend to be part of the Legion of Neutrals and they slay those with powers."

Aknaid's face was hidden behind the shield of a helmet. He could feel the energy from the human just as he did everyone else. This person was from Fiore, and he must be trained in some odd art.

"I'm Aknaid, they call be the Demon of Time. May I ask who walks within my city?"

Lance stared at the guy who had approached him. He didn't feel any Magic from him but he also didn't feel any evilness. He wasn't quite sure yet but he would have to stay on guard.

The man asked him his name and Lance looked at him with a straight face "My names Lance Knighthunter." he simply said as he ran his hand through his white hair.

"May I ask who has approached me?"

"Aknaid... the Demon of Time..." Aknaid repeated. He wondered if anyone truly ever listened to him. It always appeared as if he spoke to the air itself. Aknaid wondered what the man was, what his past was. But the real question was wither or not he belonged to an organization. In any case, the man seemed lost. Urban City was not his homeland.

"What can I assist you with?" Aknaid asked.

Lance stared at the man for a second before shaking his head "Nope." he said as he walked away. Lance didn't know what to think about the man just yet but if he followed him he intended to get more information. He turned a corner into an ally way and sat on a wall. He didn't like this place. Something about it seemed.... dark.

He leaned his head against the wall and watched as a small mouse ran past. He smiled at the life that the mouse had and he took a piece of food from his pocket and tossed it over to the mouse "I wish this city had as much light as you do mouse" he said with a warm smile as he turned and leaned his head back on the wall with a sigh

"Hmph." Aknaid scoffed. This man had asked him twice what his name was, and the second time he simply said "Nope." Whoever he was, he seemed to e wasting his time. Aknaid looked into the crowds of people around him, seeing a few faces he knew... and didn't like. He looked to where that human seemed to have gone. It was a pity, really, Aknaid was hoping to find a friend, or even a new member of the Legion of Neutrals. Instead he found a man who couldn't hold a conversation nor give the respect to end the conversation like a normal being. Whoever he was, Aknaid lost interest. He walked past the hallway, or ally rather that the man walked into.

"I thought you were different." he called out into the shadows. "But you're just like every other criminal in this city. Shame, I mistook you for someone who fought for what was right, not what they want." Aknaid was truly disappointed in his findings. He stood there, looking down the hall.

The whole city was just full of corruption. It seemed Aknaid would have to fight it alone.

Lance heard the man talking and slowly stood up with a new look in his eye. He slowly walked out of the alleyway and faced the man "I am sorry..." he said with a bit of sadness. He now sensed that this guy wasn't evil but instead he was someone who wanted to rid corruption just like he did.

He stared at the man with new determination in his eye "I am sorry about the disrespect I showed you... I have troubles trusting people when I first meet them." he said with a smile "I will introduce myself again but instead more formally" he closed his eyes and took a deep breath as he extended the palm of his hand and let a small ball of light shine in it. He opened his eyes and gave the man a warm smile "My name is Lance Knighthunter, The white Dragon Slayer." he said with a slight grin as he closed his palm and made the light disperse into a glitter of light.

"Simple mistakes like that, can get you killed in this city." Aknaid said in a sheer tone. "One wrong move, and the Agency dissects you to find where your powers come from. I've been protecting secrets... So many secrets..."

Aknaid told the truth. For a thousand years he lived in this city. He was born in it. It used to be know as the "Empire Districts" of Pandora, but that all changed. In his extensive time in the city, he learned of many heroes and villains. Aknaid always had trouble picking a side. Instead he asked himself a question, "What is good and evil? What sets them apart?" he found this answer simple. Each side fought for themselves, for a cause. Aknaid never believed in doing the right thing, the thing people want. He believed in doing the just thing, the thing people need.

In was in this he founded the Legion of Neutrals. Their purpose? To protect Urban City, period. To protect Pandora, period. From whoever and whatever. Wither it be the Agency, or Kaseki himself.

They were the protectors of Pandora.

"The White Dragon Slayer?" Aknaid asked, "Pity, in this city you would have more power being a Black Dragon Slayer... or something with the darkness. You'd be amazed what goes on here... only if you saw what I saw."

Lance eyed the man "Then let them come at me.... I will put up a fight if I do..." he said with a straight face. He wasn't scared of this man or this city. he said as the guy mentioned that he should be the black dragon slayer or something with darkness.

At this point Lance snapped "Like I would give way to the darkness!" he yelled as he close his eyes and took a deep breath "sorry about that..." he said with a sigh as he waved it off "Listen I can sense the darkness in this town... I dont sense evilness in you but I dont exactly sense good in you either..." he said with a straight face.

He didn't like this city... He had awoken here and didn't know where he was and now he was talking to a freak that called himself the Demon of Time.

"Then I believe you don't know the power that lies within you."

Aknaid spent time in Fiore. It wasn't a lot, but it was enough to understand that world. Of course, that was an alternate timeline then. In that version of his life he was more of a human, and less of a... freak. "Whatever Slayer you are, you're meant to slay just that. You become what you kill. In your case, you kill the light. You absorb the light. With that, you destroy light." Aknaid looked the boy in the eyes. It wasn't known that he was, though. After all, he was behind a fullface helmet. "You can destroy the darkness, I am not saying you can't. What I am saying is that you can't do it alone."

Aknaid pulled out a folded piece of paper from his back pocket. He unfolded that parchment for review. After a slight nod, he offered it to the boy. "If you want to relinquish the darkness, and fight for the light... The Legion of Neutrals is not for you. But perhaps this is."

He himself have never been to the realm of shinobi. But maybe he wasn't meant to.

Maybe that map was for Lance, and not Akniad.

Lance took the slip of paper with a bit of confusion on his face. Once he opened it it seemed to be a map. He looked around and saw once again how corrupted this town was. He wanted to end the corruption and make this place a happy place to live... He wanted the evil to be gone of this world.

He stared at the man with a new found determination in his voice "I will go to were this map leads me!" he said as he slipped the map in his pocket and began to walk away. Before he left the area he glanced backwards with a smile "I am sure that we will meet again someday... I mean fate brought us together today..." he said to the man with a smile "The next time you see me I will rid this city of corruption... just you watch." he said as he turned around and made a small wave before heading into the crowd.

What will fate bring to Lance next on his journey to find where he belongs? Will he finally find a way to rid the world of shadows? He didn't know himself so all he had to do was look into the horizon and follow the map.

Aknaid smiled as the man grew distant from him. There was no doubt in his mind that he would be a great ally. He just did not believe the Legion was the place for him. What he had given him was a map to the leader of Yamigakure, Shini Chikai.

Aknaid was happy to see his visitor off, even if his dream of 'ridding the city of evil' was a bit surreal. "Man..." Akanid said under his breath, "She's gonna be in for a surprise..."
