Out of State, Out of Mind. [Toriel]

how in the world was Pandora so huge!? it was much larger then Noire had ever thought before and was kinda scary for her but she would show no fear in her face as she was with her new mother, and hopeful someone from her past could show up soon, and was more calm with her then when she was alone. the area was very sandy and mysterious yet it felt so natural to Noire, like she was their already but she knew she hadn't been around there at all in her life, but yet she felt so at peace with it as if she was born here, but Noire was born a toon in toontown, or was she? Walking with Toriel on the beach, Noire had a small smile on her face behind her confused feelings as to why she felt so at home here even though she never been here before. "what is this feeling? why do i feel like i know this place? i know i haven't been here before in my life... but why does it feel so familiar...?" Noire thought to herself before talking to Toriel. "Toriel... do you think that... People can be born in Pandora before the worlds came together and still be their race they have been put into? don't ask why i am asking this... it is just a personal reason so don't try to get any information from me, Mother... unless... you think i shouldn't have any secrets... so... say what you want to say and i will tell you what you want me to say.... " Noire said in a very flustered tone, keeping a small smile on her face to hide her confusion.

Toriel strolled beside her daughter, Noire, along the beach of Edolas, a very gorgeous land indeed. The two of them had traveled from their location previously to here, taking a short rest here on the sparkling beaches. Toriel's ear perked up slightly as Noire began to talk, speaking of being born before the land of Pandora had come together and such. Toriel put a finger to her lip in thought. "Well I would never make you share more than you want to, dearest Noire. Although... I do not know too much about the history of Pandora myself, haha!" said the woman with a smile. "Though I do know Pandora is a place... where just about anything could happen. Maybe that could happen. It would definitely be a very interesting spectacle to behold..."

Toriel stopped for a moment, turning to look across at the ocean waves that glistened underneath the light of the sun. It was so warm and humid, water splashing against her paws as they sunk into the sand. "Pandora truly is an interesting land..."

Toriel... she was so kind to Noire, too kind if she was perfectly honest but it was more then enough to put her into tears, Noire didn't expect to have such a kind and caring adopted mother, even though Toriel's kindness was shown when she brought her food that day they first met in toontown. "Toriel... your so kind to me... i don't deserve this sort of kindness from someone so... sweet as you. i... don't deserve any kindness from anyone... as... it feels like... i am just a tool.. and... a tool shouldn't get praise for something anyone can do... at least... that was it felt like back at toontown... i was just a lousy tool, used by everyone for a small fee... and i just had to do it... to survive for both me... and me little sister... she is probably worried sick about me but i know she will be OK... she is a tough young girl and i believe in her... if she comes and finds me, please take her in as your daughter too Toriel and... give her all the love you can give her... and don't let a tool like me get in your way... sorry, Toriel.. it feels like i just didn't belong in toontown and yet... here i feel at home... I don't understand why or how... but... i might have been born here by two toons and lived here... but lost all the memory of it... i don't know what to do anymore... i am scared. " Noire would explain to Toriel, still crying out, wiping her tears away and having her proud smile on her face even though she was clearly upset.

Toriel shook her head slowly, bending down to Noire's height and patting the young girl on the head, wiping a tear from her eyes, "Dearest Noire... You are not a tool at all. A wise person once told me Do not forget your past, but do not let it define your future. This is a quote you and I can both live by." Toriel stood back up, an arm on Noire's shoulder and looking out upon the shores, the endless sea of blue that stretched as far as the eye could see, and the gorgeous shade or orange that shimmered upon it's surface as the sun melted behind. "Pandora... It's a place of mystery. So many things we do not know, yet so many things I want to discover myself. Your predicament... I could just possibly be true. It is a mystery we will have to discover... But it sounds like something you must find yourself." Toriel looked down to Noire, that warm, loving smile never once leaving her face. "Do not cry, child. All things will come in due time. We both have a mission, and together we will acheive it. I will show your sister love, as much as I can...

"Mama, someone fell down here! Mama!"

"Your children are here somewhere. And one day you will find them!

The words lingered in Toriel's head for a while, clouding her emotion with a sense of dread above her, for only a moment she did not smile, but it returned back. "One day..."

sniffling and having her tears wiped away by her new mom, Noire would have a small smile on her face as she would wrap her arms around Toriel and reply her kind words with "you have no idea how much... pain i have gone through but those words you have said... have completely washed them away... and... Toriel.. i am sure my sister will adore you. she has always been very trusting of people and i know she'll warm up to you. she resembles me a lot so... you'll have a hard time guessing who is who then. hehe... do you mind if we took a swim? i... have my swim suit under neath and.. we are at a beach so... if you don't mind. also... my other transformations... besides Black heart... they are no more... I am sorry... " Noire said before she would change into her swimsuit and hold onto Toriel's hand, just in case she would say no.

Noire's swimsuit:

Noire, such a precious young girl. The pain was apparent, and Toriel wanted nothing ore than to be the one to strip that pain away from her and make her smile. Noire promted Toriel abot a nice swim in the waters of the ocean. As much as the thought of having the cool, crisp water upon her, Toriel remembered the nice cherry pie she had just a while ago. "A swim sounds nice," Toriel said, "But I just ate. You know what they say; no crams for my old body. Although I do not mind relaxing at the shore and watching you play along. The sun's rays will feel nice." Toriel snapped her clawed fingers, and her robe whipped about. In a flash of light, she was suddenly clad in a one-piece swimsuit that was black and lined with purple. It even came fit with a nice ankle bracelet with a flower on it. "A feature of my magic," she added.

Toriel would sit down at the shore, enough so the waves could wash upon her legs and lower body repeatedly, reclining back and letting her weight fall upon her elbows in which she supported the rest of herself. Leaning her head back, she basked in the warmth of the sun, listening out with an attentive ear for young Noire while she went out to play. Today was a nice day, and Toriel was happy for it.

Listening to her mothers words, Noire would head over to the water and stare off into the sea, or endless ocean or whatever it was, and would ponder on why this place was so familiar. maybe her sister Uni and her came here on day and just forgot about it, maybe her and Uni were born on this beach and had a home before getting taken to Toontown and become forgotten by their parents. it was all so unclear to her but yet she knew one thing, Toriel was her new mother and she needed to stay with her, even when Uni came around, even more so when she did as it would make it seem like a big happy family again, even though Noire had no memory of her mother or father, only Uni but yet Uni, the younger one of the two of them, remembered their parents so clearly, it made Noire sad to think that she had no memory of anything but her and Uni before arriving in toontown that one day. thinking back now, it made Noire cry out and have her tears join up with the ocean,sea or whatever it was, being unable to keep it in her sadness, her sorrow and her regret. "why... do i have no memory... of my parents... and yet... Uni has? i am the older one... and yet... Uni comforts me... whenever i just can't remember... or have pain in my heart... i just hope Uni is OK... " Noire would cry out, crying her entire heart out unable to stop as her sorrows would be built up so much, it over took her determination to keep smiling, even in the face of defeat and death. it was too much for Noire to hold back, and it all came flooding out, her sorrows and her fears... everything came out... except what she needed most, her memories of her parents... every memory was there except her parents, further saddening Noire, making her cry more until she could cry no longer, as her tears would dry up and join with the sea, becoming one with it.

Toriel jumped from her pot at the sound of the sobbing child, rushing to her side and kneeling down beside her. What words could ease her? Make her crying stop? Toriel did not speak, did not say anything. Her hand touched her shoulder, giving it a gentle squeeze and rubbing it, soft and slow, tenderly... "Noire..." Toriel breathed. "Please... do not cry... It will be alright... Your memory will come in due time, I know it will. This land has many secrets just waiting to unfold, stories waiting to be told. Yours is only just beginning..."

why was Toriel's heart so big and gentle? it almost seemed like Toriel's heart was boundless and had infinite levels of Love and kindness in it, much more then she could say about her own heart, which only had herself, Toriel and her younger sister, Uni, in it for now, even though her mother and farther were still in there, but her lost of memory faded them for now. "Why... Toriel...? Why is your heart so boundless of love? why... and how...? it... just hurts to just... try and remember my parents... and Uni, my sister, can remember them so easily... even though she is the younger one... why...?" Noire would say, continuing to cry, obviously hurt by whatever happened to make her forget all her memories of her parents and only having her sister Uni as a way to remember them.

"My heart..?" Toriel said, her head tilting off to the side on question. That certianly was not a question she had heard often... Since always, Toriel always found it in her natural nature to be kind to those around her. Besides, isin't it "Do unto others as you would want them to do unto you"? It was sad to think that some people were not used to the common kindness from others. "It is simply the right thing to do," Toriel simply replied. It seemed that the words she had chosen were not doing much effect on Noire's current state. Maybe these were just one of those things tht a person just had to cry to get it out of their system, just to let it go. And so, Toriel would let her cry, cry until her tears ran dry and she could not cry anymore. For the tears never last forever.

"We... we are both looking for someone dear to us..." Toriel continued, looking up to the sun in the horizon. "Just as you are looking for your true parents... There is chance my children are out there, somewhere in Pandora... Alive..." The goat woman smirked. "For that reason, I do not have time to cry. I can't stop. Let your parents be your strength. Let it empower you to know that you WILL one day find them. Let it give you... determination."

Toriel.... her words seemed to resonate inside Noire's heart, almost like she was filling her up with Determination, and it didn't stop there. her heart was filling with strength, faith and above all else, Love for her new mother. "Toriel... thank you. your words have strengthened me, given me faith. you... have the kindest heart i have ever seen. i put my faith in you and i know that you will find your other children, even if it means you won't have me around. i will help in whatever way i can. i am your daughter, for now that is... unless my Parents are dead. Uni, my sister, told me that she remembered our parents until the day they disappeared from our lives and when my memory of them... went with them. i hope Uni's memory does go too... she's... the only link the past i got. if i believe in Uni, she won't let me down. she'll have her memory even if it means i have to lose all of mine. i promised her, and... i know you and Uni would give me all of my memories back in no time. " Noire said with a hint of courage in her voice as she would stop crying and have her usual smile on her face.

That was the spirit. The tears were gone, turned now into courage to empower the young girl. Nodding her head, Toriel stood, taking Noire by the hand to help her up as well. Though Noire did not know it, the two were probably equally as lost in this world, just as naive to the ways of life in Pandora. Though Toriel knew that her strength would not only have to suffice for herself, but now she had to have enough strength for young Noire as well. Waving her hands across the sky, she said, "All in due time, young one. We will find it out, together."

Toriel took a step back away from the beach, cloaking herself back in her robe once her fur had dried sufficiently. "So, where ever shall we head to next, daughter of mine?"

Where to... that was a good question, a question of which Noire needed to think about. where was the best place for the two of them to relax and have a place to rest? now that was a hard question... "hmm... Toriel, i don't mind going anywhere as long as it is with you. you have the best judgement as to safety. if i had to say, i would say go back to east Pandora where you said we'll have our home is. i... still want to have our home made soon as possible but since it isn't made yet, i want you to say where we go." Noire said with a smile on her face, hugging her new mother with a lot of love and keeping her close to Toriel, knowing she would have to go away from her eventually.
