Sly's Magic + Abilities

Description:

Temporal Call is the name of the magic bestowed upon Sly after his exposure to its magic radiating from the timepiece which he had carried in the previous realm. This power initially belonged to the creator of the previous realm which Sly came from, a powerful dragon named Creation, who had the magic to create whatever he desires and manifest them into the real world. However, a fateful incident occurred that locked him inside the timepiece, awaiting for a host to inhabit and hibernate to recover his strength. And that host happened to be Sly.

During his rest, seeing the pain and suffering that plagued his world, Creation vowed to take over Sly's body and 'hatch' from him like an egg, using his own body as a sacrificial vessel to regain his body back as well. However, he was defeated before it could happen and his spirit remain bound within Sly and the timepiece, prior to arriving in Pandora.

As such, after having his spirit merged with the dragon, Sly was able to acquire a fragment of Creation's powers, being able to summon Spirits from an alternate dimension and manifesting them into the real world. These Spirits, as scriptures from his own world had documented, are believed to be primitive beings originating from an alternate world which Creation had used, a bridge of sorts from Creation's infinite imagination to the real world. However, the fragment meant Sly’s capability was limited in that he could only picture Spirits he had seen before in his head prior to manifestation.

Once he had chosen a Spirit, he only needed to focus his energy into his hand, then let it all out with a flick. This creates a spell circle with a variety of symbols along the borders, and the summon that he thought of would jump out from this ‘portal’, having manifested from his MP. The Spirits he summons were large-scale beasts of sorts already pre-existing in the real world, but also include those that had not yet existed.

Abilities:

  Ability: All attacks deal extra damage based on the user's class.

• Name: One-Way Ticket
  Slot: Limited (Secondary)
  Ability: User has a pocket world, however they cannot put items into this world. They may only pull items out of this world. This allows a user to hold onto several weapons at once, but once they take them out of their pocket world, they cannot put them back in until the thread is completed.

  
  

• Name: Spirit Resonance
  Slot: Custom
  Ability: Sly chooses a summon by looking at them and blinking, allowing him to see what they see. During this time, he cannot see from his own body and is therefore vulnerable. He can choose another Spirit again after deactivation and 1 post cooldown.

  Slot: Custom
  Ability: Sly gains passive speed boost based on his rank. This will take up 2 ability slots.
