Siege On Arkham [ORG EVENT]

Said notorious toon was in the back of the van trying on the surprising extensive amount of Doctor uniforms back there. Much more then what Kabuto probably had expected to be there. Perhaps Hershel snuck some on the Van with him. Who's to tell?

"So what do you think of this one?" Hershel asked Laura as he did a little spin for her, showing off the costume in full. Despite it being a proper doctor outfit, it did not do well to hid that he was a rabbit.

Laura sat in the back of the van with Hershel, watching him spin and flourish with little interest. Her mind was elsewhere, focused on the job that she and her friends were about to undertake. Jaime rested at her left side in his sheath, while Bloom hovered around by her right shoulder. The three of them together, along with the help of her serpentine savior and the boastful bunny (and whoever else appeared to help), should have no problem doing what they were setting out to do. Laura just had to make sure that she fulfilled her role, and the rest should fall into place.

She turned to look out the window, seeing that the van was rapidly approaching the gate of Arkham. She gripped Jaime tightly, bracing for the impact was coming.

CRASH!

Laura flinched as the van barreled through the gate, but none of them were much harmed by the impact. Bloom floated up through the ceiling of the van as it screeched to a stop, scouting for incoming enemies and relaying the information to Laura via their link. "We have two guards coming at us from the gate," She said aloud to the rest of the van's passengers. "It looks like there's another one alerting the main building as well."

It's almost time, the half vampiress thought to herself as she glanced up at the moonlit sky. A few minutes more of waiting and the van would appear up ahead. The plan was simple or so she had been told. Storm in, set the bombs, and take control of the asylum. Kitty lowered her gaze back to the road ahead. Truth be told, she was not for such a spectacle. She preferred working undercover, the espionage part of it all. That was how she had run her past guilds and organizations. That is, until she arrived here. Pandora was not at all a place she had expected to arrive in. Yet, she could not say that did not know it would happen. It was bound to happen. Just the when had remained unknown until now. Her senses began to pick up the arrival of a fast moving car. Immediately, she put her guard up and moved to conceal herself within the shadows. She didn't trust them. Yet, then again, when did she trust anyone? The car loomed up ahead. One, two, three... The unmistakable sound of the engine roared as it came at full speed towards the fence. She activated her Escape ability in case the flying metallic debris made their way towards her -a precaution. Once the car had made it in, she deactivated her ability and walked towards the van. A malicious smirk decorated her lips as the asylum blazed into activity. Let the game begin~

In hindsight, Hershel shouldn't have probably been standing in the middle of the van as it crashed through the gates. The sudden hit was enough to knock Hershel off his feet. He rubbed the back of his head as he sat up looking at the other two.

"You both could of warned me that that was going to happen." Hershel nagged as he looked out the window, "Well I guess we got their attention now. Though do wonder what the point of us dressing as doctors were if we were just going to barrel through the front gate anyways?" Hershel then gave a small shrug. "Ehh... It doesn't matter now. My adoring public awaits."

Hershel then jumped out of the van with little care for the world and gave the oncoming guards a small wave. "Hello there. I'm here to meet with my fans. You wouldn't happen to be here to take me to them, are you?" He asked the guards with a small smile.

Laura watched as the other members of Snake moved into action. Although she wasn't moving herself, she was communicating with Jaime and Bloom, setting up a strategy. Within moments (albeit with no small amount of arguing), the three companions set into action. Bloom flew downwards towards the guard who was running away, slowly catching up to the flesh-and-blood human. Once he was in range, his vines shot out, wrapping themselves around the man's legs and tripping him. As soon as the guard hit the ground, Bloom began making his way back towards the group, slowly dragging the guard backwards despite his protests.

Jaime, meanwhile, leapt out of his sheath and floated over to Hershel. From what Laura understood/overheard, the Toon didn't have any magical abilities of his own as of right now; from what Laura knew of him, however, it was unlikely that he'd do anything but push towards the front lines. While neither Laura nor her monster friends liked the eccentric bunny that much, he seemed to be important to whatever Kabuto was planning; as such, Laura wanted to protect him. That was why Jaime had been ordered to act as Hershel's blade for the time being. Despite the loud waves of annoyance and discomfort the spirit sword was giving off, he did as he was told; the blade forced himself into Hershel's palm and wrapped his cloth around the rabbit's arm, lending the Toon his power.

OOC: From now until I say otherwise (or until Hershel manages to get rid of him), Hershel has control of Jaime in his weapon mode. He can use any of Jaime's abilities as he pleases, and is in charge of keeping track of Jaime's HP/MP.

A wave of guards came rushing towards the van which was expected as per the ruckus they had caused. The vampiress smirked. She had known the plan wouldn't have worked, but they could always improvise. As she began nearing the van, the individuals inside came out. One in particular caught her attention. The narcissistic one as the quite one didn't seek attention. "Hello there. I'm here to meet with my fans. You wouldn't happen to be here to take me to them, are you?" A mouse-bunny thing greeted the guards. Elizabeth rolled her eyes. A toon, of course. "Your fans await you inside. The guards simply want to keep you and them apart." She said nonchalantly, holding back from rolling her eyes. With that, she joined the group. As to what she would do now, she would await the orders of the boss.

"Oh... A spirit sword. I guess you wanna help me little buddy." He stated as Jaime placed itself into Hershel's hand, "Just don't eat my soul. Okay? I only have one of them."

Hershel's attention then returned to the guards as a newcomer came onto the scene to tell him that the guards were here to keep him away from his soon to be adoring fans. "I know that." He said in a slightly annoyed tone, "I thought I would give then a chance. I rather have adoring fans that are willing to do what I say then bloody corpses. Speaking of which. Time to feed the spirit sword."

With that, the guards seem to have gotten over there stupor they seemingly were in and began opening fire on the group. Hershel didn't seem to pay that much mind as he quickly ran straight towards the two, and with two strikes with his sword, he ended the lives of the two guards. "Now that's just sad. You could of just took us to the prisoners and we would all be friends. But instead you had to make me ruin this Doctor's outfit with you icky blood." He sighed as he began to continue forward towards the asylum. What was the plan again? He honestly completely forgot and decided to just wing it.

The air whistled as a young man flicked his scythe, cleaning it of the blood that dripped from its edge. Placing the reaping weapon on his back he raised his hand in greeting. He gave a slight smile under his disguise, "Hershel... and... Laura, it's nice to see you, I'm sorry I'm late, I guess I just... slept in," he looked off in another direction, only to find a third party, "Oh! I'm afraid we've never met. That's not odd though, so don't worry about it, I tend to spend very little time in our base and talking with," he turned back to Hershel, "... members."

Adjusting his mask he looked around, "So I guess Kabuto went off to do his own thing huh? Well damn, I wanted to ask him what I should be doing here. Well, I guess I'm at your digressions then. Laura, you're my senior member, just give me a signal and I'll take care of whatever you want. Of course, I'm sure you three can handle whatever it is you need to do. By the w---" he stopped himself before he spoke anymore. He was talking much more than normal... perhaps Orpheus was to blame. The awakening of his "carefree-ness" would certainly explain this sort of thing. Oh well, the best thing to do at this point would just be to keep silent and wait for orders.

Laura watched as events unfolded, not a little surprised at what was happening. She hadn't expected Hershel to accept Jaime willingly, although it certainly helped to calm the spirit sword; she was sensing significantly less irritation and hostility from her monster now. Sindra's appearance, while shocking, was also very helpful; Laura knew he was able to summon companions, and every body here helped.

Bloom didn't seem to need any assistance; he was still dragging the guard back to the van, almost there. Laura decided to enact the next part of her plan. The petite girl grabbed a length of rope and met Bloom at the van door. On Laura's cue, Bloom dropped his levitation, sending his weight down directly onto the man's head. While not enough to kill, it concussed him, allowing Laura to swiftly tie up the man and gag him. Then, together, Laura and her tree spirit companion hauled him into the van. Hopefully he would provide some useful information in a bit. Her idea complete, Laura and Bloom left the van and took off after Hershel and Kabuto, who were already heading inside.

The toon replied to her with a, "I know that." Elizabeth simply rolled her eyes at his annoyance before looking towards the oncomming squadron of guards heading their way. "I thought I would give then a chance. I rather have adoring fans that are willing to do what I say then bloody corpses. Speaking of which. Time to feed the spirit sword." Kitty shrugged as she licked her lips curiously. Perhaps it was time to put her skills to use? She decided not to. After all, it wasn't the ideal time. From the corner of her eyes, she noticed a member of Snake make his way towards them. "Hershel... and... Laura, it's nice to see you, I'm sorry I'm late, I guess I just... slept in," He greeted. Elizabeth focused her eyes on the stranger. He wasn't someone she knew. Who was he? "Oh! I'm afraid we've never met. That's not odd though, so don't worry about it, The vampiress raised an eyebrow in amusement. Who said she was worrying? "I tend to spend very little time in our base and talking with," He turned his gaze towards the rabbit. "... members." Elizabeth nodded in mutual understanding. "A pleasure to meet you. I spend little time at the organization as well. This is the first day I meet you all." Elizabeth turned her gaze towards the building. Thier objective was to get inside. What were the members doing out then? "So I guess Kabuto went off to do his own thing huh? Well damn, I wanted to ask him what I should be doing here. Well, I guess I'm at your digressions then. Elizabeth immediately activated her most prized of abilities to escape the dangers of the rapid fire. The toon, though, didn't care much for the bullets, for her made his way towards them. "Now that's just sad. You could of just took us to the prisoners and we would all be friends. But instead you had to make me ruin this Doctor's outfit with you icky blood." Elizabeth turned towards the group. "I suggest we do the same." After finishing her words, she ventured towards the building as the guards fired away. Kabuto had ordered one of them to remain with the toon and, it seemed now that she was it.

Ability:

"There can only be one!!!" Hershel announced with a Scottish accent as he continued charging head first. He didn't even knew why he shouted it out, it just felt fun to do so. Especially with bullets flying past him like they were. Though why did he have the feeling of wearing an eye patch and drinking some hard rum. Ehh... It's probably not important.

Hershel made quick work of a few more guards that decided to get in his way. This was starting to be a little scary for him. Wasn't he only F class right now? Should he be able to take down guards as easily as he is? Perhaps he should tone it down a bit? The toon then grabbed a bullet that was flying over his head and redirected it back to the guard that shot it.

Yeah toning it down a bit may make this a bit more interesting. Yet, then again, no one really cares about these guards. They are nothing more then henchmen that kind of appear out of nowhere and were there to make him look cool. I mean why else are they just not able to get a single hit on him. Oh hey. The front door is right in front of him.

"Hey people. Does anyone want to do the honors, or should I just cut it down myself?" He shouted over the sound of gunfire and the alarm.

Laura followed closely behind Unknown, Bloom standing in front of her to intercept any stray attacks. The tree spirit moved into action to assist Unknown at Laura's request, his vines lashing out and striking the nearest guards. Laura, meanwhile, stayed behind both of them, wishing she had some form of support with which she could assist her allies. Everybody else was trying their hardest, but here was Laura, too sickly and weak to actually help her friends fight. Bloom responded with a wave of denial, denying that Laura wasn't being helpful, but Laura knew the truth: She wasn't helping anybody right now.

Hershel sighed as no seemed to answer him. "That's it. It feels like I've been waiting for an answer for two weeks two. We can not afford to wait any longer." He said in a frustrated voice as he cut open the door, "At least the front door appeared to be made from Styrofoam. I guess we can blame budget cuts on that one."

The rabbit then continued to make progress through the Asylum. This was going to be the hard part. Close corners with cops and whatever anti escape traps they have here. He also had no clue when the bat is coming. Or was it a rat, or a cat, or a hat? Maybe a batratcathatman? Hershel couldn't quite remember. What was he thinking about thinking about again? Oh yeah. He was going to go sing his new hit single over the PA system.
