At the gates of Era there were as usual a mass of people streaming in from the many corners of the world. Everyone bringing something new and exciting to this relic of a city. While Aelys Crux had taken it's seat here the influence of the former council could be seen everywhere. The city was developing for the better despite the intense battles that had been fought here years ago. Most people liked to forget such things, but he hadn't. The one person who would walk past the gate yet leaving nothing as he had nothing to leave. The man known as Ethan Pride was dressed in a Royal Blue from top to bottom, a lot of eyes turning at the sight of him. His unusual uniform drawing attention even among these who had gotten use to the strange and unusual. But he was no merchant, no noble so just what was he? He sighed as he stopped in the middle of the street and gazed upon the great building that once housed the most powerful people in the country. "Era...where order was, fell and rose again...." He remembered having visited the city once before but couldn't remember much. What he did know was what this city had once represent and what it had come to represent now. What Nox Animus, now Aelyst Crux had come to represent. They had established where there was none, they truly wished to heal this country. A cause he himself could relate to, with that in mind he took yet another step on his way to the council building.
As he walked up the street he thought og just how much the world had changed lately, almost unnaturally so. He could feel it, he couldn't tell how or why but something had changed considerably since the rumoured coming of the stars. He was stopped in his tracks though as he suddenly fell to his knees and clenched his chest like he was having a heart attack. Some of them saw what happened and gathered around him to help. "Are you alright sir?" Ethan could feel it pull at him, this threatening presence surrounding him. He breathed deeply for a few minutes, sweat dripping down his face. As it finally stopped he stood up as if unfazed by what had happened to him. "I'm quite all right now, thank you" With that said the mass somewhat reluctantly let him go. He clenched his chest again and turned around to look past the gates before he turned tail and walked fast towards the council building.
Knewing that something was reaching out to him, something he'd believed gone since before the stars had fallen...
