You must be wondering what this event is, and what it's about. Well the answer is simple, everyone has a chance to get a FREE Lacrima. You can use a lacrima for your own magic, to supercharge yourself into a slayer, or you could infuse it into a weapon to make it stronger than others. You can do whatever you want, even eat it! (Though that just gives you raw energy and an additional element...)
