A Traveling Warrior [Closed]

Honestly, humans could be so stubborn sometimes. While learning how to master the arts of barginning, Zinnia had come across many odd humans. And not odd in a good way, like, they had fangs, or a tail. She meant odd, as in strange, crazy, completely insane. It was one of the many mysteries of the human race that she would never understand. They all had such varied personality traits. It made things difficult, sometimes.

But now, she was heading home. Or at least, that's what Zinnia had planned on doing, if it had not been for the mysterious figure in the distance. Of course, she had a natural curiosity towards the unknown, but stopped. Was approaching a glowing figure really that wise? She still knew little of her abilities. Just in case, she summoned her poisonous gas, and approached, staying just out of a ten meter radius of the stranger.

[Enter Kaseki. :P]

Sitting on a single metal barrel, he thought about his life and his choices. After all, this was not only his city, but his world. He had shaped and carried a heavy hand in creating it. He would ensure this place would not fall into ruins by the Agency. But even so, The Agency were victimes to themselves.


His entire being was covered, a tattered sand colored cloak was draped over the armor he wore. He was in no mood to be with a mere mortal and contemplate matters of life or death. His purpose was fulfilled, he had set The Agency into ruins. But now he had to set in rebuilding the Legion.

Holding his weapon like a cane, the point of the weapon lay on the ground as both his hands rested on the end of the handle. He would vanish in a flash, only to sit on another barrel thirty or so meters away from the sounds of the alley. He would keep his distance, and if needed, he would destroy it if it threatened his progression.

Ability 2: Gearframe: Swinging the weapon summons up to 5 gears that can deal D-Ranked damage if it hits
Ability 3: Cold Steel: Up to twice a thread, the user can strengthen their skin for 5 posts. All damage is halved in this state, and they cannot use Spells in this state. Their skin turns into a metal-like appearance.

As Zinnia watched the figure in the ally, she noticed that they seemed to be doing something. What? She couldn't tell. Her eyes narrowed, and dug her metal claws into the ground. As much as her bestial instinct told her to, she wouldn't growl, as it might give her position away. She decided to slink closer, coming within a ten meter radius of him. Using her slender body, she hid behind a few barrels. Her poisonous gas would soon take effect of the stranger. Her camoflauge also helped, as she had not yet physically attacked him.

Looking over the barrel, she saw that he was talking with some men. They were holding up guns, and talking. Her eyes narrowed. She needed to get closer. Slinking forward, she watched them all carefully, trying hard not to let her metal claws clank against the floor. Now she was within hearing range.

Listening carefully, she as able to pick up on some of their conversation. "Those bastards in Fiore will be so screwed when we hit 'em," said one mysterious man. "With these specialty made plasma guns, they won't know what got 'em. We'll be in and out before they even realize we were there."

"Don't get too cocky," said a second man, "Boss'll have our heads if anything happens to these, so don't screw this up. Oh, Steve, turn that blasted spell off. It may look cool, but what if it attracts attention?"

The third man whispered something that sounded like "Damn it....", before the glowing disappeared. Luckily, Zinnia had night vision, and could still clearly see the enemies. So, they were planning on importing forbidden goods, eh?

Name: Poison Cloud
Rank: D
Description: The gas will usually form from chemicals in the ground, as she can cause a chemical reaction that restores them into a thick, green gas. It forms pretty quickly around her, taking about thirty seconds or less to get about a five foot radius around her. It takes about three to six minutes to spread out the whole ten meter radius.
Strengths:
● The spell can be sustained at half the cost, allowing the gas grow thicker with each post it is sustained.
● It is also extremely potent, and becomes even more potent if exposed with extreme heat.
● Gas can also spread out to at least a thirty foot radius around her.
Weaknesses:
● It doesn't do well in the cold, and will actually work slower in the cold.
● The gas can also not go in water, so she cannot use this attack in the water, leaving her vulnerable.
● Another thing to note is that the gas won't effect other creatures that produce poison, or at least won't effect them as drastically.
● Gas is defenseless against creatures that wield guns or bows, that can shoot her from a distance.

Name: Stained Poison Claws

Description:
They have a slight, greenish hint, and are more wolf-like in shape. They are also a bit more worn from years of use, and are a bit light in color.
Strengths:
-They are stained with poison, as the name suggests, and can cause serious damage if they touch you, and even more serious damage if it gets in your blood stream.
-The poison is a neurotoxin, so it effects the nerves and the brain, causing hallucinations.
Weaknesses:
-The claws are only as strong as Zinnia's claws, if just a little sharper, so it cannot cut through anything, like, say, as hard as rock, or with very strong scales, or shells. Her claws are about strong enough to tear through human skin/animal skin and flesh.
-The claws are old, and, like anything made of iron, will rust if put underwater, and may even break.
-No range
-Hard to take on and off
Ability: As mentioned above, the claws are not only used for protection, but they are also incredibly dangerous. If they scratch someone, or touch someone, they can infect you. This poison can cause headaches and nausea. If scratched, and the poison actually enters the bloodstream, it can cause effects much worst, such as hallucinations. Other side effects have also been recorded.

(If you wanna get technical, your Camo would fail. Works only in forest.)

These mortals were so petty and weak. They were easily bought and persuaded with money. They would turn on their allies and their own family if someone could pay the cost. That was what made them weak. They were humans. Those that were carefully chosen so many years and lifetimes ago were lingering and wandering as they pleased. They ascended into a higher plane of existence, almost being gods among men. He didn't expect humans to understand this world. Pandora was no place for the living.

His hands would cross and fold into each other, creating various signs. He would end this now.


His words remained unspoken, just thoughts in his head. He would crush the concrete around the men and bury them at their waists. Both of them incapacitated and useless. They were annoying. He hated when people bothered him while he sat in silence.

Those were the only things worst than ignorance... it was annoyance.

As Zinnia studied the men carefully, her poison slowly taking effect, she suddenly felt a weird sensation, and she yelped in pain, leaping back. Her claws had accidentally injected poison into her blood stream. Once again, she wasn't sure how to control her poison, so random things like this sometimes happened. She winced, and lifted her paw, licking it. But, while she did this, instead of attracting attention, she actually heard screams, and glanced over in surprise. Suddenly, all the men were dead, their weapons destroyed. How was this possible? Zinnia swallowed, and leaned down, holding her paw up to her chin, thinking about what kind of creature could do this in such a short period of time. Obviously, if it possessed this kind of power, it was either super fast, or possessed earth magic, or both. She temporarily thought about approaching whatever it was, but then again, she had no idea where it was.

But, now that the threat was gone - The OBVIOUS threat gone -, she could progress forward. Her paws clanked against the floor as she slowly stalked forward, wincing every time her paws made noise. She tried to move slower, slinking close to the ground, and walking over to the dead humans, sniffing them. It didn't smell as if anything had touched them. She decided to halt her magical poison gas, as it, too, was starting to make her dizzy. This didn't usually happen, as she normally had control over the gas, but the stressed seemed to make her lose control over it. Digging her claws into the ground, she winced as they made a large clink, and rolled into the closest shelter, hiding behind it. She glanced out behind the barrel.

Thanks to her night vision, she could see more clearly, but she still didn't see anything. She didn't have any crazy super vision. When nothing happened, she hesitantly stepped forward, again, trying to be as silent as possible.

"Tch." He thought to himself, hearing the metal ring against the stone of the alley. There was still another person he had to deal with. He was tired of company.

Gripping his weapon, he twisted his wrist and soon flashed within the darkness above where he was, on some balcony or ledge. The darkness of the alley made it unclear what was around him but it was still just enough light to see the shadow of the thing near the alley's entrance. He would remain still, his voice would echo below, being unclear on his location.

"You're up past your bedtime." He would say, his cloak still hung over his body and the armor under it. He was one to make one hell of a first impression. Whatever kept this man to continue down the alley looking for him would only make him a mercenary for hire or a dumb human. He had no time to waste for the insolent.

Zinnia froze when she heard the voice, and dug her claws into the ground. She thought about leaping out of sight, but the speaker had already seen her. He'd obviously be observing her from a distance. Or perhaps he was simply trying to scare her, and hadn't actually seen her yet. She took a deep breath, then let out a sigh. She closed her eyes, and listened. Indeed, he did make it difficult to pinpoint him. Picking her ears up, she twitched them, and listened. She hadn't been particularly listening as closely as she was now, so she hadn't been able to pick up the exact location. If he spoke now..... maybe she'd be able to pick it up. She had been training for a bit, and was a wolf.

She decided to take a chance, and spoke up, opening her eyes, and scanning the area around her. Her body tensed, and her claws gripped the ground, ready to run at a moment's noticed. She carefully side stepped backwards, her tail flicking, and activated her camoflague, so as to meld into the darkness. "My name is Zinnia, and I mean you no harm. I was attracted here by the noise..... tell me, were you the one who took out those men?" she questioned.

Her body was still tense, her tail uptight and straight, ready to bolt any time. Her tail flicked nervously. This was a very stupid idea. Perhaps she could still talk him into answering her questions. She smirked nervously. Again, she gripped her claws, digging them into the ground, so they wouldn't make as much noise. Hopefully.

"Well at least she's not as stupid as I thought..." He would think to himself, his body some great height above the ground. It was at least three or four stories high, but who was to say. A lot of these buildings were in ruin, he might as well been sitting inside of a room that had its wall removed long ago. He would tap his weapon against the building, only to teleport on top of some fire escape to the apartment across from him. He was at least several dozen meters from the creature, but the acoustics of their voices were trapped in that alley. No one outside could hear them, and neither of them would hear the outside.

"I must be." he would say, his voice bouncing off the walls, his person remained still. "Unless you know of someone else in this alley."

It was futile... he would never get his peace.

He doesn't sound like a threat...." thought Zinnia, her claws clicking against the stone as she thought for a moment, He actually sounds stressed, or at the very least annoyed. Perhaps tired, even? she thought. But she wasn't going to stop just yet. She stopped clicking her claws, and blinked. This time, she was listening to his voice. Again, it was hard to pinpoint exactly where it was, but from the sounds of it hitting her ears, she could suspect that it was at least farther then four meters. With a blink, and a twitch of her ears, she decided now would be a good time to activate her sense enhancing. Now her ears would be able to pick up sounds at least 12 meters away.

"We can hardly share an adequate conversation from this length. I implore you to come join me," said Zinnia, tapping her claws on the hard stone. She listened. If she still couldn't hear him, she'd conclude that he was much farther away then she had expected. She guessed he was, since his voice seemed to bounce all over the place.

Ability Used: Hearing

- Sense Enhancement: Once per post, Zinnia can select one of her senses and strengthen them for the span of 1 to 2 posts. No two senses can be increased at the same time. The following are the effects:
● Hearing : Zinna can hear everything within a certain distance. (x3 her level in meters.)
● Sight (Night) : Zinnia can see up to in the dark clearly. (x2 Her level in meters)
● Sight (Day) : Zinnia can pick up all subtle movements from her location. Allowing her to pick up on even the slightest of movements. (x8 her level in meters )
● Touch : By touching something, she is able to feel vibrations to sense objects in a certain vicinity. (x2 Her level in meters) [Only if the target is moving]
● Smell : She can smell out all things. However this makes her more susceptible to all smells. (x4 Her level in meters)

"Hmph." he couldn't help but smile. At least it had a brain. Perhaps tonight would be interesting. He tapped his keyblade against the metal railing of the fire escape stairs only to jump off of them. The sound would echo all the way down as he fell to his demise...

But just as he neared what appeared to be death, he would teleport to the ground, landing safely and unharmed. He would appear crouched on he ground, the sword in his hand, and the clock still engulfing his armored frame. He would look like any other robot, that is, if they could see past the material that covered him completely.

He remained there, just a good comfortable twenty or so meters from the dog. It was weird. Like did all dogs talk or just this one? On top of that, she had some feathers around her head. What an odd sight to behold.

He would look up and at it. Only to stand up a bid confused yet curious. He had only met one over powered canine, and that was his family pet. Could be be that he was not the only animal that could do magic?

"Interesting." was all he said.

As Zinnia waited, her ears perked for any sound or noise, she heard him speak again. Like before, the voice was all over the place, and she made only a slight growl. But then, her ears picked up a slight woosh, and her head shot up to see something falling towards her. She let out a small yelp of surprise, and stepped back, watching the things, whatever it was. But before it hit the ground, it seemed to teleport in front of her. She blinked in confusion, but shook her head. There were still many mysteries about this land that she didn't understand. Perhaps this was one of them.

Clearing her throat, she spoke up, "You seem surprised to encounter a talking wolf. I suppose there aren't many of my species that take the time to study your language," she said with a chuckle, her tail flicking back and forth. While, of course she didn't know what he was, she didn't think he was a threat. But her muscles were still tense.

"You'd be surprised." He would say. His weapon at his side, the tip of the blade against the ground. Those words were common around a certain type of people. He knew it from many observations. This wolf was new to this world, and probably didn't even know it was Pandora. But these people were easily impressionable, and could be made servants to the darkest of people. They were new to the concept of worlds merging, as well as the power to gain from the other realms.

With only the powers of his weapon in use, he would vanish and appear just before the two dead men. He would take his weapon and tuck it into a lock on his hip as he set his hands on either head of the men. Both of his hands would look like they were pulling spirits from the deceased... and in a way, he was.

"Then I take it you're looking for a place to call home, no?" He would continue to rip the souls from the bodies. "That's what everyone in Pandora wants."

While he did not say it, he knew she was lucky that Aknaid was the one that found her. Should any of his relatives have encountered her, she would have been quickly disposed of.

As the.... creature spoke, Zinnia listened, her ears perked in interest, and blinked in surprise when he suddenly disappeared, taking a step back, her tail tucking slightly under her legs in surprise, and her claws flexing. When he appeared over by the dead men, her legs tensed, and her ears laid back against her head. This wasn't actually aggression, it was more confusion or curiosity over anything. But that was what the creature was. A curiosity. But as she watched him seem to pull out the two humans' souls, her whole body went ridged and frozen. Of course she couldn't know they were souls, but what else could they be, she would think to herself. Zinnia was a logical wolf, so when someone pulled something out of someone, and there wasn't any blood or wounds, and it was glowing, there wasn't exactly anything else it could be.

When he turned back to her, speaking, she became a bit more relaxed. She was a prideful wolf, but she was also smart. She had no idea what this thing was. She could run off, or take a few steps back, but that would show weakness. But doing the opposite could show arrogance. So she simply took another step back, and answered with as calm a voice as she could, her body making her take a few steps back. The last thing she wanted to do was get in a fight with... that thing.

"Ah, I suppose you could say I am without a home. Not that I'm searching. I rather enjoy traveling," she said. If dogs could sweat, she'd be sweating right now. Now that she could see him, she supposed she could turn off her hearing enhancer, but she just wanted to be sure. You could never be too cocky in situations like this.

Tilting her head at him, her eyes narrowed some, and she tilted her head at him. "So, what's your name? And what are you doing here? It's not very often I see robotic things falling from the sky... no offence." she said with a chuckle, trying to disguise her nervousness under her pride.

By her words, it would seem she was content in wandering aimlessly without a goal. It was not rare, nor common for him to find people like that. He did not wish to intrude of lives of people for his own visions to come true. He would simply find another soul to take in. He would stand up, rising up from the dead men with their thought in his mind. He would see their memories and everything about him. He would have a new mission for the day.

"You will find content when you ask not who or what, but why." He would say, his back to the canine. As he began to make sense of the thoughts of the dead, he would begin to plan the demise of many. He would crouch down, as if to sprint, only to vanish once more and into the crowd of people that walked on the streets of the ghetto. This was no place for friends. He would have to kill another dozen people for the peace of millions. He would be hidden behind the crowds of people, gone from sight, mixed in with the rest like a teardrop in the rain.

He was gone.

Before Zinnia could say something, in reply to what he had said, the mysterious figure seemed to vanish. She simply stood there, dumbfounded by what had happened, but shook her head. Now wasn't the time to be lost in thought. She still wasn't sure what that creature had been, but its words had been more ominous then she would have liked. Her claws tapped the ground, and she glanced into the shadows of the alleyway.

It was no use standing around, doing nothing. Zinnia had things to do. Important things. She knew they were important, but she didn't know what they were, yet. Sighing, the she wolf let her body relaxed, and made her ways into the shadows, seeming to disappear as her slender body seemed to become one with the darkness.
