The Ruins of Time(private/Ryuhei)

Alexei meandered through the ruins, taking in the surroundings that were new to him. He was standing in the middle of a green valley, strewn with the remains of what was probably a castle of some sort; pieces of white marble lay all over the ground, varying from pebbles to large pillars. There were even a few worn walls standing still, although they have been mere shadows of their former splendor. Everything was being overgrown by ivy and other creeping plants, making the standing pieces look even more cracked from a distance.

Alexei sighed. He would have loved to be here in its heyday; who knows what kind of grand civilization had once stood here? Countless people had probably stood in the same spot as him, and he would never know about it. It was enough to make anybody melancholy, even a God. He wished somebody would appear, at least to slake his thirst for entertainment...

The Dragon Slayer found himself waking up, back leaned against a boulder. He was in a forest, near a small body of water. The grass floor was littered with rocks, some with moss on them. How he got there, he didn't know. Though it wasn't like he cared either. Ryuhei decided to just walk out of the place, looking for somewhere else to go. He was clad in urban clothes, including a pair of cargo pants, a tank top(wife-beater, if you may) and a pair of boots. That was his usual attire each and every day, mainly because he didn't care enough to change it.

The Dragon Slayer walked enough distance to reach a patch of land with pieces of what appeared to, or used to be a grand building. Maybe a castle. He then saw what seemed to be a man, standing with the pieces of brick and mortar.

Alexei continued to walk among the ruins, idly humming to himself. "Isn't there somebody who can entertain me here?" Alexei wondered aloud, almost skipping through the ruins. "Rocks are boring...And depressing."

Suddenly, Alexei caught some motion out of the corner of his right eye. Whirling to the right, Alexei beheld another human for the first time in a while. He was dressed in a tank top, cargo shorts, and boots, comfortable traveling wear; it was a stark contrast to Alexei's formal wear, which he was stuck with. Sometimes, Alexei wished he could wear clothing like that again, but on the other hand, having regenerating Astral clothes was nice. But he digressed. For now, the important thing was to talk to this man, to relieve the boredom. "Hello there!" Alexei called, waving to the man. "What brings you to this small corner of the world?"

"This place? Creepy?" Alexei responded, surprised. "This is history, my friend. Here, not so long ago, Gods among men walked the earth. Who knows what kind of things they did to pass the time? How did they live? Did they embrace order or chaos? Were they free, or bound to whatever code Gods are bound to? These are the types of things that fascinate me. Exploring Pandora, getting to know this world and all of its inhabitants, bringing everybody together in freedom...Those are my dreams."

Alexei took a deep breath, suddenly realizing that he had been ranting. "My apologies," he quickly mumbled, "I completely forgot to introduce myself. I am Alexei Sarona. May I ask your name?"
