Endless Sea of Sunflowers (Ruby's D>C Exam)

Ruby looked over in the Direction of her home forest and sighed. It had been a few long months of being away from home and she already was greatly home sick. The days seemed to last forever here in this land and things were not as simple as they were back home. Ruby remembered this Field very well, The first part of the field is where she first met Kaseki and it was made up of a beautiful grassland; But the second half was made up of a large and amazing field of sunflowers. Ruby had found an opening in the center of the field which had a massive tree stump in its center. This is Where she laid down on a tree stump and looked to the Stars. Such an amazing universe with so many different worlds and Ruby wanted to visit them all.

Ruby couldn't help but think of Kaseki because he and Yuna were the first she had met out of the Faery's Forest. "hmm.. I wonder what Kaseki and Yuna are doing.." Ruby spoke to herself while watching a shooting star enter the atmosphere.

Kaseki strolled into the woods with a book in hand. It had been years until he really looked at those pages. Kaseki was a tree, older than life itself, and had only recently begun to pick up reading. He shut the covers to look at the great black sky, and the various bits of glitter it held. It was a good night.

"The power to enchant, disrupt, and create... Interesting." He said to himself. He was debriefing the contents of his book. It wasn't long after that he encountered Ruby Snow, a member in his child's army. He pondered the thought, "What was she waiting for?" he wondered. Was it time for her to get stronger?

Before The Disappearance of Ruby Snow and before the Trouble in Lavender Town there was a time where Ruby and Kaseki mingled in the starlight..

Ruby watched as another shooting star shooting through the sky before disappearing in a seemingly simple kind of way. "D-Dont you wonder W-What it would be like to be a S-Star?" the voice of a stuttering fellow sounded through the clearing. Ruby jumped up to grab her staff but the man had taken it moments before he spoke. "..What the hell.. when did he?" Ruby thought to herself as she twitched her left eye. Ruby glared and stood upon the stump waiting for the stuttering fellow to make his move. "S-Stars.. Such I-I-Interesting things.." The mans eyes appeared from under his white feathered hat. Green and red, The eyes of some sort of Demon, but not only that- The eyes of a fellow who had magical powers; A Dark Mage of sorts.

The Stuttering fellow looked around and twisted Ruby's Staff around freely and uniquely. "How A-About you and I D-Dance in the S-S-Starlight?" The annoying stuttering made Ruby upset which appeared on her pale face. Ruby let off a frown that could make a puppy dog cry. "Thats my staff.." Ruby ignored the question about dancing and focused her attention to the staff that was being twirled around like a marching band baton. Ruby's eyes quivered with a Cute, but sad feeling,

Kaseki took his steps into the clearing, while looking at the stars. They were false in many senses, as they did not show galaxies far away. Those likes were known only to few of their true forms. Kaseki knew what they were, for they were simple souls that were bound to eternity in Pandora. They were people who wanted to be laid to rest, but not by the Maker, or the great Demons, but of the being that was good as he was evil. He was the one that allowed souls to live again, or to be destined for eternal damnation. He knew there was no heaven or Hell. For they were just names to realms that the mortals knew so little about...

"It's not nice to take things." Kaseki spoke, his eyes fixated on the souls in the skies. They were his own stars, for they shined brighter than anything. His face held no expression, for the earth around the man's feet begun to tie him down like an ivy that grew at an extraordinary rate. "May Dinok find you." Kaseki said. Before the man could utter a word, vines slipped up his body to encase him. It was nothing for someone of Pandora, for all plants were at their will.

But Kaseki knew that where there was one, there was another... but would Ruby be ready?

The gentleman who twirled the staff around looked at Kaseki and smirked. "F-Finders Keepers. This is now my staff until a certain faery Dances with me." The demon like fellow held out his hand to Ruby while wiggling his fingers in a perverted sort of way. A tear dripped down her face just thinking about dancing in such a way. "..Give back my staff-- Or.. Ill have to take it back by force!" Ruby's cloak blew gently in the wind and an aura of light appeared around her. The gentleman seemed to grasp the staff tightly and his voice got deeper, without a stutter. "..Ah. There we go. The Light God slayer-- Finally We meet."

Raising a brow, he continued to stand there a bit unsure of what to make of it. It was almost like a waste of time to him. Ruby would sort things out with the man, and Kaseki would idle and relax for the time being. "Was it always like this?" he wondered to himself. There was a reason he didn't like to meddle in the affairs of mortals. And this half thought activity would only prove himself right.

Ruby flew forwards with her serious speed and from beneath her cloak she swung out a weapon her foe was not quite expecting. The weapon glimmered with such light that the darkness of the night seemed to disappear around Ruby. She swung the weapon towards the wide eyed gentleman's face, catching him by total surprise. "..Is that?.. It cant be.." The gentleman thought right before he was slammed in the face with the blunt force of the glowing weapon. He hit the solid ground; making a grunting noise as blood and teeth escaped his mouth. "..A Keyblade.." The man stumbled around for a moment, doing his best to gain balance. Ruby was no longer messing around- She was very serious about getting her staff back, But Ruby was disappointed she had to use her hidden weapon. "..Give back my staff, Dark Mage!"

Raising a brow, he could only wonder what this would lead to. If it had been a week ago he would have stopped at nothing to collect and protect all and every keyblade, or at least place them in the hands he could watch over. However, he begun to care less and less, not getting as invested in the lives of others anymore. "I don't even see the reason to stay." he would think to himself. But he would wait for a moment before heading out.

The gentleman finally found his bearing and called upon his dark powers. ".. Darkness- Lend me your power! Defeat the God Slayer and claim the keyblade she possesses!" The ground became a thick darkness which swirled around calmly and from it creatures were born. Small creatures with bright yellow eyes and antennas popped up from the swirls of darkness. There was no small amount either; At least 30 of them all shook their black and purple heads at once all the while moving around through the darkness. Ruby glared and rose from the ground, Using her wings to hover and get a good perspective on who to attack first in order to gain a good strategy. She swung her Keyblade, aiming directly at one of the many dark creatures. 'Solar Flash!' From the tip of the keyblade a powerful ball of Silver light zoomed down to explode into three of the Creatures forcing them back to darkness. Ruby smirked, This is exactly what she was meant to do. Defeat the Darkness and Demons of the realms.

Heartless Minions: 27/30

Ability 1: Solar Flash: Once every 2 posts, the use can shoot out a ball of light. The orb deals C-Ranked damage, and travels at 7m/s with a range of 15m.

Ability 3: Demon Slayer: The user deals x2 damage to Dark Defenses.

"That's my cue." he would speak lowly and softly to himself. He had no reason to intrude on these matters. If people wanted to try and bring war, he would let them. Anyone from the Legion of Neutrals would stop and defend the order of Pandora. There was no way to make a world without hate or anger. He knew that. He could not stop crime, and he did not plan to. He only reached for a balanced world.

And with that, he vanished.

The Dark Creatures did their best to hop up to Rubies level but they failed to do so. They were like sitting ducks down below and the Gentleman who summoned them knew it. "Damn Faery! Ill Kill you if its the last thing I do." He formed a ball of Darkness in his hand and stood for a moment powering up the energy before releasing it in a thrusting fashion towards Ruby. She saw this coming while it was charging and prepared to dodge it to the side. However, this ball of Darkness was no normal burst. It followed her where she went and exploded in a violent manner. Ruby fell to the ground, feeling the pain on her wings and back before being attacked again by a jumping creature. Ruby was lucky she saw the multiple creatures jump and swiftly defended and countered with Silver Light, her beauty of a keyblade. Two creatures bursted into darkness before Ruby hit the ground hard. "Ouch.. Damn it.. That one hurt a little bit.."

Ruby got herself off the ground quickly, Gripping her keyblade tightly. The monsters around her ambushed her on all sides, Waiting for the perfect moment to strike at once. Ruby formed a vortex like sphere with her free hand, knowing this technique would save her the trouble of fending off against a few of them. Five of them jumped and rushed forward with claws at the ready all the while Ruby forced her hand forward, releasing the Black ball of Dark light. 'Black Shot' the Ball moved forward, exploding in a 5 meter radius, taking out the five that rushed towards her. Ruby then moved silver light to a Defense position to take care of a few more of them. A swift, heavy swing caught two more Dark Creatures by surprise, Forming them to darkness once more.

Spell Info:

The gentleman who had obviously underestimated Ruby blinked a few times before charging up another ball of energy. This time the energy was made of light and it was thrown rather quickly. Surely he did not mean to do this, because Ruby ate the magic right away which made her feel refreshed. "..Are you not feeling so well, Hat man?" Ruby gave the man a nickname and pointed over to him with her Keyblade. He swallowed his saliva and replied in a shaky tone. "I-Ill win.. J-Just you wait!" He lifted the staff upwards to drop it on the ground. Of course, he did not mean to drop the staff but his clumsiness meant otherwise. Three more Heartless minions jumped up to attack Ruby with a combo, This time they scratched her quick and hard. Ruby felt the blood seep down her arm and face, It was odd to be wounded- These guys may not have a high endurance but they certainly packed a punch. She swooped her blade through all three in a spiral fashion, taking each of them out quickly. She then pounded two more with the blade before taking a deep breath.

Ruby Took a few deep breaths and glanced around at her surroundings. They appeared to be in a clearing not far from where the battle began but this clearing was different and more unique than others. "..I remember looking at the Stars here with her. I would do anything to be with her again.." Ruby gripped Silver Light tightly and focused on the enemies around her. The Demon like mage prepared his hands for another burst of magickal energies but this time it would not be made of light.

"This time you WILL fall!" The mage with the white feathered hat thrusted a shock of Mystical energy towards Ruby all the while Thirteen black and purple colored creatures swiped their claws at her. Ruby Swiped her keyblade across four of the creatures, then pointed the tip of the Key at three others who were closest together. From the tip a blast of Silver Energy took out the three who jumped feircely at her. Ruby was suddenly hit from behind which made her fall to the soil beneath her feet just as the mages bolt of Energy came flying. "..I can do this." Ruby encouraged herself bravely. The shock wave of energy missed Ruby and took out Six of the Heartless. "DAMN IT! They got in the way.." The hatted fellow shouted. Ruby got up slowly, pointing her keyblade at the man. "Now its just you and I."

Ruby Levitated, Glowing with an aura of Dark light. The Light intensified and became like lightning around Ruby's body which made the dark mage look nervous. "This is the power of the Light God Slayer? HAHAHA!" He mocked her loudly while rolling his red and green eyes. Ruby glared at him in a rage and flew at a good speed, ready to knock him out with her Keyblade. He smirked brightly and became translucent as soon as Ruby swung as hard as she could. "..Well then. My mission is completed, I have gained the information needed for the Dark Council.." The man showed his sharp teeth. Ruby swung multiple times around his body but it had no effect. "Im a lot more powerful than you think. I simply was here to mess with you a bit and gain information.. And now I bid you a due.." The man vanished as quickly as Kaseki had a little earlier.

Ruby hovered over to get her staff, noticing a note attached to it. "..I'm glad to have this back, But I wonder what this note attached reads?" Ruby opened the note and tilted her head to the side.

'Ruby Snow,

It is with my deepest sorrow that I inform you you have become a much wanted specimen in order for us to proceed with our experiments. This letter is to explain that their will be consequences if you do not join us. We will meet again very soon, Horrid Wishes..

The Dark Council.'

Ruby crumbled it up and threw it to the ground below. "Like I need anything from them.. "
