Wanderers and Faes

Nanashi found himself in Oak Town, the city known for its great culture and knowledge in the Kingdom of Fiore. Many excursions of the the black-haired warrior entailed great battles and challenges or jobs, but this one was a little different. For awhile know he had grown curious with his magic and its true nature. There was still much for him to learn about it and how it worked exactly. Nanashi found himself in one of the taverns of the rustling town, seated at one of the tables. He still had to ask around and find out where this library even was before he could attempt to figure it out for himself. And so he sat waiting for a waitress or some type of service to come to him so he could order food and drink.

Ruby strolled down the streets of Oak Town, It had been a little while since she had set foot here or in Fiore in general. This was mainly because she was trying to do Jobs to boost the reputation of her guild. Alas, She came across an old Tavern which she was very familiar with and had been to many times before this occasion. As ruby walked through the doors she looked around at the lively place, A man playing a piano chugged a full pint while still playing his tune. But this was not the only strange thing going on; Many others were arm wrestling in the corner and chanting. Ruby smirked, This is what she was use to- This world, These people.

Ruby found a seat next to Nanashi but before she sat down she hovered around him. "Hey. Mind if I sit next to you?" The Beautiful blonde Faery turned her head to the side while preparing to dive into the seat.

Nanashi was quite taken with this place. He enjoyed the elegant melody of the piano man, the way his fingers danced along the keys in harmonious intervals. The man was a true musician, and even Nanashi could appreciate such a thing. There was more to life than combat and adventure, and this was one of those things that made it all the worthwhile. Distracted by the piano, he hadn't noticed Ruby approach up until she spoke. Her voice was soft, and bright, giving off an elegance and grace that the wanderer wasn't accustomed to in normal conversation. He gave off a soft smile, before letting out a composed   "not at all" in response. "I'm Nanashi. Do you come here often?" he asked with a tilted head to the side.

Ruby took off her hood as soon as the man said she could join him. Her long, beautiful blonde hair waved out and about and her majestic eyes sparkled brightly as soon as she took a seat. "Ohh. No, I have only been to this place a few times. And yourself?" Ruby tilted her head to the side. She played with her golden hair and looked around at the fascinating folks around her, They must be wizards looking for more knowledge or great travelers! She thought to herself; Not everyone is so lucky to get in this Town.

The piano melody made Ruby wiggle back and forth, she enjoyed each key played and the tune was wonderful. Its true, this was quite the luxury among travelers; Ruby had been to other kingdoms and other taverns but none compared to the ones here in De Fiore. "Say- Are you an adventurer?"

"Hahah. No it's my first time here actually," he responded cheerfully. His purple-hued eyes continued to stare admirably (having started ever since she took off her hood). She was quite captivating, especially with the beautiful bright golden hair that shined in the tavern. The lighting surely worked in her favor. Though she may not have noticed it his smile grew the faintest bit wider when he saw her, his own heart skipping a beat for a moment and then beating at a more upbeat tempo. He was now glad he had decided to come to this town and this tavern. This was nice.

As she wiggled back and forth in her chair to the music, his own eyes peered over the piano player to focus his attention elsewhere. He didn't want to appear so obvious in his starstruck status, and the music served as a lovely distraction. His left foot tapped in rhythm with the melody and its beat as he let out a soft hum along to the pitch of the piece as it echoed out the man's blessed fingers.

As the two listened to the piece she struck up an inquiry, the wanderer a bit flattered by the attention. "Oh? I suppose you could call me that. I'm also a mage," he responded honestly glancing back at Ruby with a quick smile.
