Lee Yao Exam F to D rank

Lee walked the mysterious woods of Taalos Trees. He was told in an anonymous letter to meet several miles away from the Urban City in the Taalos Trees in order to be tested. Lee over looked the letter several times to see if he could figure out who sent it but to no avail. After walking for almost an hour he finally made it to a clearing in the woods. It seemed like it was some sort of training ground set up the way the ninjas of Ninja Town have theirs. Lee looked around to see if anyone was here but he couldn't see anyone around. "Is anyone here!?" He yelled.

"Stop your yapping." said a voice from behind a tree. It was no other than Lee's most favorite person in the world. "Enjoy the silence."

Darkurr sat with a large scythe next to him. The massive weapon leaned against the tree, and seemed to have an odd black smoke emit from it. Darkurr on the other hand sat with his legs folded, and his hands pressed together. And to top it off his eyes were closed.

He was meditating.

"Stop your yapping." Said a familiar voice in the background. "Darkurr?" thought Lee. He looked over in the direction the voice came from and saw Darkurr on the other side of a tree. He looked to be meditating. Lee took his time walking up to Darkurr and leaned up against the tree Darkurr was next too. "So are you the one who called me out here? Whats up?" He asked.

Darkurr sighed at Lee's words, "Life isn't just about money and power. Come, sit." he said, his posture unchanged, and his body unmoving. "You are a weak power, you must come to terms with that. With your skill you can only learn so much." Darkurr exhaled deeply, "To understand yourself, is to understand the world."

Darkurr was wise in an odd sense, and learned so by many mentors. This was just another one of his teachings.

"Life isn't just about money and power. Come, sit." Said Darkurr. Lee couldn't help but wonder to himself "Is this guy really giving me a training lesson?" but Lee did as he said to at least humor him. "You are a weak power, you must come to terms with that. With your skill you can only learn so much. To understand yourself, is to understand the world." He finished saying. Lee couldn't help but feel a little bit insulted but at the same time hated to admit that Darkurr was right. Lee has been spending to much time collection money and status and hasn't been spending enough time on his training. If Lee was ever going to get his old powers back he would have to start from the beginning again. "Alright." Lee said starting to meditate along with Darkurr.

"Breathe in." Said Darkurr as he swallowed a huge chunk of the atmosphere"...Breathe out." and he exhaled. In truth, it was the calming technique that existed in almost every culture. It was used, because it worked. "All things have a centerpoint. The world, Pandora, Cities, corporations, and even yourself. Find your center." Darkurr said, inhaling and exhaling again.

Lee breathed in and out trying to concentrate on his breathing and focus on finding his center point.  "All things have a counterpoint. The world, Pandora, Cities, corporations, and even yourself. Find your center." Darkurr explained. Lee ended up receding in and out of his own mind trying to find his center point. Lee let his mind go blank in hopes to find it easier.

And so they sat, in the upmost silence. Darkurr would show him something that only few would learned about and respect. Should Lee discover it in his own thought... He would know when Lee was ready. Soon, but not yet. He was proud that he had joined in on the deep thought, but he still had much to learn.

Lee continued to search for his center point within his own mind. He began to think of everything he has done for the past 300 years. In the beginning he was angry at having lost everything he had gained in hell just to be banished and trapped in an unaging human body. After he wandered the world trying to find meaning in his new life. During this time he began to learn about the world he was a part of and the interesting things he found, the interesting things he could become. In the end Lee was always himself even though he felt like he lost everything but he hadn't lost who he was. He was and always has been the embodiment of Greed. Humans always seem to believe its all about money and power, that its a bad thing that needs to be controlled. It may not be good but its not so bad either. Everyone wants something they don't have whether they like it or not. Its all about how they work towards gaining what they want, what they desire to do. "I am Greed." Lee finally said after sometime had past.

"As I am the Shadow Knight." Darkurr said finally. "A Knight that fights within the darkness, yet I am not evil. So what does that make me?" Darkurr got up and grabbed his weapon, "What we are, becomes who we are not. A crooked old man taught me this. The best way to overcome your fears is to become your fears. You will understand not what you fear, but why you fear." He stood, his back fully turned to Lee, his pupil, "No one is afraid of the darkness. People are afraid what lurks in it." He scoffed as the end of his weapon slammed into the ground, "Now that you know what you are, you must find why you are. And with that, you will find who you are."

A slight breeze came in, shaking the trees, kicking up small bits of dirt and throwing leaves.

As Darkurr explained what he was Lee leaned back against the tree. "Now that you know what you are, you must find why you are. And with that, you will find who you are." Darkurr continued to say. Lee laughed  as he started to get up. "Why am I greed? That's easy." Lee stood tall his eyes glowed crimson red as the wind blew loudly while he explained why he was greed. Once he was done he began to walk away waving his hand back towards Darkurr. "Thanks for the lesson. I wont be forgetting it anytime soon."
