Personality: Malm is an outspoken young man who does everything he can to see things come to a peaceful conclusion. He has seen much during the Guild Wars in Fiore, and wishes to never see something like that come to past again. Yet surprisingly, he doesn't seem to allow it to have affected him much. He still appears to be much the same wizard he was three years ago, if not for a more mature outlook on the world. That's not to say those times didn't have an effect on him. He just chose to not have it rule his life.
Malm tries his best to be a gentlemen when he can. He often acts polite and well-mannered. To a point where it can be kind of annoying as he'll go out of his way to assist people doing very mundane tasks. He still tries to be considerate of people when they ask him to back off though.
Malm is also someone who is embarrassed pretty easily. It doesn't take much to embarrass him, and he tends to shy away from people when he is. One such subject that he is particularly sensitive about is his gardening. He takes great pride in his gardening skills, but also knows that it isn't exactly a skill that most people respect. So whenever he does any gardening, he tends to do it at places and times where other people won't see.
Malm is a pretty leveled headed person. He is pretty good at remaining calm and focused at the task at hand. This makes him slow to anger, but when he does, he goes all out on the thing that finally tipped him over the ledge. He's not murderous when he goes to this state, but it is easy to believe he is. Then once the situation seems to have been dealt with, he'll go off on his own to cool off, and (depending of the situation) come back, apologizing ceaselessly for his outburst.
In combat, Malm prefers to settle things diplomatically when he can. That doesn't mean when push comes to shove, he is unprepared to fight. Not being a very physical person, he's not exactly the best fighter in the world, but he shouldn't be underestimated either. He is a pretty accomplish swordsmen, and a versatile fighter, using speed and wit to outmatch his opponent. Even then though, he does try his best to end the fight quickly as to avoid any unnecessary injuries, and will avoid killing at all costs.
Malm isn't confortable in a leadership role. He'll take charge if he needs to, but is more then willing to give command to someone more capable. While under a leader, he remains loyal as long as he sees the leader as someone who's reasonable. Not being one who likes starting conflict, however, he won't argue if the leader tells him to do something that he doesn't agree with. Instead, he will drag his feet during the task, and try to avoid it for as long as he can. Then, if the leader goes to far, he'll do everything he can to leave his command and will go off to do what he believes is right.
