Xerxes is notably arrogant, childish and rude towards other summons and people in general; Even though he is rather weak and small, in his eyes, he’s already the strongest and most intimidating summon that Xui has in her arsenal. This young Chamander enjoys and often exudes an air of coolness and swagger and often brags about how someday he’ll be an “invincible Charizard". Fortunately, he can give his ego up on occasion and actually be useful in battle when his master summons him. Due to Xerxes being Xui’s first summon they do share many similarities though they both hate to admit it.

Description:
This move converts the energy stored within the user’s body into a thick black-colored flammable smoke that is normally spewed from their mouth and nose into the air. As the name suggests, the technique shrouds the user/opponent and a large amount of their surroundings with the smoke; making visibility poor and allowing the user to quickly make their escape or attack from cover. The smoke covers fifteen meters.

- Blaze-Blaze increases the power of Fire-type moves by 50% when the ability-bearer's HP falls below a third of its maximum
- Element Devour- Xerxes is able to devour fire attacks below one rank or lower below his level and convert 50% of it into MP and HP

- Water- Xerxes takes double damage from water based techniques
- Earth- Xerxes takes double damage from earth based techniques
- Flame on its tail- If the flame on Xerxes douses he dies.

Strengths:
- If inhaled after one post the opponent will begin to fill nauseated and will throw up his/her next post
- The smoke is flammable meaning the slightest contact with fire will cause an explosion and burn the opponent equal to the rank of flame that it comes in contact with.
Weaknesses:
- The smoke is instantly cleared by any wind based clearing technique.
- Xui can be caught within the smoke as easily as her opponent and will suffer the same side effects
- Xui can easily be caught within the explosion as well
