    He sat at the end of the table, staring at the deck of cards. He was unsure of what to do. Out of all of her children, he was the one that challenged her from time to time. And by children, meaning her personal army... she was called "Mother" after all.

    ""Uhm... he scratched his head. "So Hold 'em, or Blackjack?" he asked. Looking into the face of the only other person in the room.

    Samedi. That was the name of the male that sat across from Akira. He was one of her own children. Children being the people of her City of Sunagakure. She was known as the Village's Mother. He sure did like to give her something to do. She had been challenged a dew times by Samedi to random acts. This time, it was cards.

    "Hmmm. Blackjack sounds wonderul," Akira would say as she looked upon her child.

    He would toss her a card, and set one in front of himself. Both cards were facing the ceiling, revealing both of them to either player. He had just read rules of card games just a few hours ago. It was only now that he was beginning to play "Blacksjack" as he called it.

    "Two cards..." he said to himself, "Faces are ten. Aces are one or eleven..." He looked at either card, trying to figure if he should get another card...

    Akira watched from the opposite side of the table as Samedi tossed a card to her. The card would land face up. However, Akira would pay it very much attention at first. She watched as he looked at his card. After a moment, Akira would glance to her own card and then pull another. She would also hand one to Samedi.

    (Rolling #1 and 2 for Me, since the first was blank. #3 for Samedi.)

    Samedi would sigh, looking at his hand. He was going to lose for sure. If he stood a chance at all. He'd have to take another card. "So..." Samedi said as he reached for a new card. "Am I allowed to recruit?"

    He'd carefully inspect his card, trying to figure out what else to do...

    Akira stared at the two cards she had. Would she grab another card? There was a possibility she would go over if she did, if she wasn't somehow already. However, there was also the possibility She could get less than Samedi. Perhaps, she would take the chance and grab another one. "What do you mean?" Akira more than likely knew what he was asking, however one could never be too sure.

    Samedi looked at his hand, a bit frustrated at the result. "...13." he thought to himself. He would reach out yet again to the simple deck for the simple game. There was nothing to gain from this, other than the entertainment.

    "Could they join our ranks?" he would ask her, "If they help me, then they would help you, no?"

    Akira would turn her head toward the one across the table from her. The demons eyes watching while her ears soaked on his words. Could she really trust someone not from their world to join theur home? There were so many different types of outsiders. How did she know they wouldn't cause a threat? Then again, if they did help one of her children like Samedi said they would be helping her. The woman would continue to stare at the man as her mind filled with thoughts. After a moment, She would speak, "I suppose you are correct. However, I'd feel more at ease if I spoke to them before ensuring their stay. But I would consider it."

    "Dammit... She probably has blackjack..." he thought to himself. She was no doubt a better player. He was not going to go down so easily.

    "Well of course." he would say, reaching out to the deck again. "I'm not just going to take in a bunch of mad men. I would take in only the skilled people." He would take the card, refusing to look at it until the final moment. "After all, to defend this place from other worlds, we need to begin to take in people from other worlds."

    Akira would continue to listen to Samedi. He certainly was intelligent enough to know the good from the bad. Akira had never been one to trust others well. "Yes, I suppose you are right..." Akira would say and cut off. The woman would look at her cards. She didn't want to take any more chances, "I'm drawing no more cards. I have 17." The female would lay her cards on the table face up. "If you find someone, bring them to me, alright?"

    Tossing his cards face up on the table, he would cross his arms in frustration. "Twenty Eight." He would sigh, looking away from her. He would have gotten up from his seat if a question did not enter his skull.

    "Understood." he would tell her, "But what if you are not here? Should I wait countless days, or would be be alright to take in a single soul in your absence.. to help around for such a time." He would look at her, but from behind his mask, "After all, you could kick them out if you wanted, you do have more power than me after all, mother."

    Akira would smile and watch the man become frustrated. For some reason, she thought it was so funny to watch him lose. Wether it be the way he got frustrated or just the feeling of winning. She didn't know but she still hoped one day he'd beat her at something. She figured his actions of joy would be much more fun to watch.

    "Well, it wouldn't be very polite to drag a poor soul all the way here and have to make them leave..." Akira would nod her head from side to side slightly, "Soo, that would be fine. Keep an eye on them though."

    Samedi would take all the cards and neatly place them back into a single deck. He'd cut and bridge them, making a great display of shuffling. He was unsure if he wanted to play a new game, or if he wanted to wait for another time. But that choice was up to the Mother of Sunagakure.

    Up to you if you want to start a new thread, or continue this one. If you want to flood Suna with threads, it's probably better to start a new thread. Even in the Organization HQ
