With being taken back to the house and set under twenty four seven watch, Sterben began a life of seclusion that made him have to follow the rules more. With his life going by in such a quick amount of time, and he now of the age of thirteen. Sterben now with a much more toned body and mind was a person who had his own personality, not held down by the shackles of his home, but still following the rules. Developed into a more mature man, his hair longer than before, a few new tattoo's as well as some scars on his body. His appearance was strongly close to his mother, but also his father as he retained his hair colours matching his father. He still studied magic like he did long ago, still unable to harness it making his abilities harder to bring out due to his locked bloodline. Sterben despite this challenge trained his body as well as his mind in another ability something he tried when he was younger and that was sword fighting. He trained using a smaller weapon before going to this current one, one that he called Vera, Vera was a sword made for him by his father. Vera was given to him to help him train in another field other than magic.

Sterben now stricken with despair ventured deeper into his once loved home to find answers only to find the bodies of his relatives.

His mother's body holding a cold iron cross necklace in its hands. The letters, SID engraved in the opposite side, Sterben now filled with sadness cried out to the skies. With the strength he had left, he made a burial for them all, digging the now fertile soil and buried them all. As he placed his mother and father into the ground he felt a massive amount of wind behind him and what seemed to be a dragon behind him. To his surprise it seemed as though he had a aunt who to was dragon in nature, but halve dragon to be exact like his mother. She told him all that had happened and said that his grandmother went berserk because they couldn't handle the fact that they thought of him as a failure.
