Job Title: Close Encounter
Job Requirements: 125 words, 10 posts
Job Location: Pandora (Edolas)
Job Description: A mysterious letter arrives. It appears someone in Edolas wants to meet you. Deciding to investigate, you travel to the mysterious land and meet up with the person who is revealed to be your Edolas counterpart, almost an exact replica of you, but with very clear differences in personality. After some quick discussion, you're attacked by a group of bandits. Will you team up with your Edo-self to eliminate them, or work independently? Either way, you must defeat them, taking the bounties is up to you.
Enemies:
Weak: Fresh Bandits x4 : Bandits that just joined. They are unarmed and fairly weak. They take half D rank damage to defeat
Normal: Fragile Bandits x3: A trio of bandits that aren't quite as fragile as fresh bandits (take one D-Rank hit to defeat) and are armed and skilled with their weapons, able to deal D-Rank damage and using fairly tough strategies.
Strong: Tough Bandits x2: A set of bandits that dish out just as much as they can take. They take two D-Rank hits to take down and deal as much damage as Fragile Bandits.
Boss: Boss Boz: The Bandit boss, Boz wields a lightning lacrima whip. In reality he's a coward, and taking down at least three groups of his bandits will cause him to surrender. His lightning lacrima whip is more for show than anything, and he can still only deal D-Rank damage. He takes three D-rank hits to defeat.
Reward: 1 D-Rank Reward Dice
Before the events of Toon Trouble, Naisu had journeyed into Edolas once before. A long time ago he journeyed into the strange realm on request of a mysterious letter. He had discovered the letter in his mailbox one mysterious day (technically night...it was the Kingdom of Kai after all) and wondered its purpose. The letter had read:
Naisu Shiratori,
I am aware of some of your exploits, and wish to meet with you in the world of Edolas. Come alone. There is much for us to talk about.
-Anonymous
Naisu's sense of curiosity got the better of him. He chose to go to Edolas and find out who contacted him and why. It could be a trap, or it could be a most delightful encounter. He knew of the many possibilities that awaited him, and it sounded quite fun.
Now here he was in Edolas.
