The child had only known one creature and one place for the first six years of her life and had never questioned any of it.
For the first three years, Mei was treated with love and care. She was treated as a normal baby, although she didn't exactly have a normal "mother". How was such a young and simple minded child supposed to know that having a dragon for a mother was not normal? Especially when she had never seen another person for as long as she had been alive. However, she had been told many stories that would eventually give her some idea of others living in the same world. These stories also helped developers a sense of adventure in the child's life. At the age of three and a half, this child would begin a journey she deemed wonderful. At this very age, the young girl could walk, talk, and was very capable of learning. It got her into a little bit of trouble but nothing too major. The trouble was mostly her trailing off in thought, wandering too far from home, or acting too silly for her "mother's" taste. However in the end, she always did as she was told no matter how long it took her.
It was quite an early age to begin nagic training but the Dragon has faith in her "child." So at the age of three and a half, the little girl was learning about magic. She learned about different types of ice magic. She learned about maker magic. She learned about Slayer Magic. She learned about elemental magic and so on. Mei disnt quite understand being so young. However after repeating things many times, the child was beginning to get it. At the age of four, the girl actually began to use magic spells. She started off by trying to eat the surrounding snow and ice. The Dragon being an Ice Dragon referred the cold and raised the child in it. The child would become used to the cold and never even notice it. As she progressed in age, she progressed in magic ability. Mei could eat her surroundings, while also being able to expell it from her mouth in a rather good sized ice ball. After that, she began to be able to slash things with ice she had created to form weapons. She could also freeze things with certain spells. The Dragon was rather surprised with the child's improvement. However, it intrigued Mei to learn more and more. She couldn't help but be happy about it. She couldn't help but feel it was an amazing adventure! Until, the day she turned 6.
Mei woke up in the same cave in the same mountain. She woke up with a stuffed bunny right next to her. It was pink and cute. She loved it. She absolutely loved it. However, she would soon notice her "mother" had gone. Where would her mother go? She never left the cave. She never left Mei alone. So, the child decided to go out and adventure. She found a path of Dragon prints and followed them, until the snow began to show many more prints. Mei could see where the wings of a large creature had blown the snow around. She could see what looked like human footprints scrambling the area. What had happened? The little girl held her bunny in her arms close as she continued. After a while, Mei would hear sounds of crunching. She would hear the coming closer and smell new smells. Who was it? What did they want? Mei had only just begun to see a large lump in the distance, when a sword flew past her face and stuck into a tree. Mei turned in the direction it had come from with wide, scared eyes. There were three men. The child began to back away as they came closer. "W-What do you want? Where's my Momma? Who are yo-" The child's words were cut. "She asks a lot of questions boys." The largest man would say. He seemed larger built and more sophisticated than the others. "She sure does, sir." The other two would say in unison. They looked almost identical but seemed less sophisticated than the larger man. "Who is your Momma little girl?" The large man seemed to say as he looked blankly at her. "Sh-She's a Big Dragon." Azalea spoke nervously. "Hear that boys? This one must be one of those that the king wants." Azalea would tilt her head as she looked to the men. She was more curious than scared at the moment. "Why?" She would ask with much curiosity present. "You are a dragon slayer are you not? Now be a good girl and cone with us." The man would step closer but Mei would step back. "No! Momma said to never go with strangers." The girl sounded rather confident, which seemed to amuse the man. "Hard way it is. Get her boys." The twins rushed at her.
