Sitting on the branch of a tree, she looked down, through the lanterns, at the crowd of people down below. The light in the realm of darkness was a beautiful sensation. It was a grand festival, and part of her wanted to embrace it forever. She could call this place home. But the world was the home to a girl without a family.
Her tank top remained under the moonlight that seemed to kiss her skin. Both of the moons hung over the sky, something she knew was rare for her short time in the Kingdom of Kai. Her gloved gripped the wood of the tree, begging to stay there forever. Nature was her true home, and not with her mother.
"Maybe." she thought to herself, "Maybe I'll make a friend today."
She looked at the people down below her. She had almost forgotten that this was a celebration around a tournament of beating the crap out of other people.
