Personality: Toriel is a very peaceful and loving woman who cares for everything and everyone around her. The goat anthromorph would go out of her way to see the wellbeing of those around her, and takes liking to people quite quickly. Toriel has a motherly atmosphere to her, taking young ones, loners, an strays alike under her wing to keep them safe like a bird would do to their young. She has much wisdom and a deep understanding for the world and how it works, but hides and masks this knowledge. Overall, Toriel can be seen as a kind and gentle person.

Toriel dislikes combat of any sort, and would rather resort to diplomatic alternatives or more peaceful ways to avoid it. Toriel would talk her way out of a confrontation before actually engaging. However, if Toriel must fight, she will. Toriel fights mainly to protect those around her, and will rise to the occasion if someone is in danger. Toriel becomes a more hardened and battle-ready form of her previous self, attacking swiftly and relentlessly in order to keep people safe. Her powers are for good, and must always be used for so. Toriel is a force to be reckoned with.

Toriel has always wanted to grow up to become a teacher and a strong leader one day, and to guide people along the path of purity and greatness. Her interests include reading, mainly fantasy and mystery books and cookbooks, or cooking. Toriel favors baking over other styles of cooking, and to further narrow it, pies of all times of flavors and ingredients. Her favorite ingredient is butterscotch over all else. Also, she has a distinct taste for snails, and uses them in many of her dishes. Although she knows others do not favor this like she does, and does not feed it to others.
