The rules of the tournament are to be followed to the letter. No one is exempt from these rules. The only time a rule may be overruled is if both parties agree to the change. #1.) Everyone must fight all participants at least once. If someone drops out, all future scheduled combats are claimed as a win by default. #2.) All fights will be prescheduled in a predetermined area. Participants cannot change where they fight that match, however they may influence the area if agreed upon. #3.) Based on the rules of each individual fighter, they may risk their lives to raise the stakes. A Medical team will be present at every match unless both participants decide otherwise. The offical terms for this are as followed: High Calibur: The more common method of engagement. A medical team will be present at the event. After the fight, lives will be restored and all injuries will be mended and recovered. The fighters will only receive a monetary reward. #4.) No pets, companions or intrusions will be permitted at any event. The only exception is an agreement between both fighters. #5.) Both participants must be active for both the fight and rewards. Failure to post in a timely fashion will have various consequences. After 48 hours, the last post made will count as an "Auto-Hit" and the fight will carry out as if that post is the truth, and cannot be interrupted or changed. After 72 hours, the inactive participant will receive a warning post by any member. This is to remind them that they have a thread that needs attention. After 108 hours, the participant who did not post will lose by default, regardless of the condition of the fight. #6.) Both fighters must be posting at least 100 words per post. Their posts may no exceed 1,500 Words. Should either of these rules be broken, their post may be up for being edited, or voided entirely. #7.) Anyone is allowed to spectate the fight. Spectators will have no effect on the fight at all. They may post once every 24 hours from their last post. However, if the current user is in another fight that is currently going on, they may not spectate. |

"Finally."
Alexei entered the Mishima Arena, looking around the massive illuminated cage. He had been waiting for this for entirely too long: A chance to test himself against the stronger denizens of Pandora, without having to go to all the trouble of seeking them out. Kaseki himself probably wouldn't appear, of course; he would spew something about letting the denizens of Pandora manage themselves. Not that Alexei wanted to truly face off against him yet. As he was now, the God of Chaos wouldn't stand a chance. That's part of why he was here, to train up for the inevitable ultimate battle. For now, though, it all came down to who his opponent was. He eyed the other entrance to the arena, waiting to see what kind of being would appear.

He stood already in the arena, a sword in each hand, the scabbards on his waist. He was going to have to follow through with the entire tournament at this rate. He had only one goal, and it wasn't to win.
"May all of your strikes land." he would say with a slight bow. He only wished for an honorable fight, after all, he knew that man was within the same organization as him. For them, no matter how it ended, the Legion would win. No matter who was victorious, as long as it ended with a fight, they would both pass to the next round.
He begun to slowly inhale as the words were spoken.
It would almost bring a tear to his eyes. It had finally started. It was an empty dream, but maybe, just maybe he would see his son again. . . for one final time.

Alexei's eyes widened a bit as he recognized the man standing in front of him. He couldn't place his name at the moment, but they had definitely met before; the God of Chaos had seen the man at several Legion events. That meant they were technically from the same organization; that didn't mean Alexei was going to go easy on him, however. He never saw the Legion as more than a means to an end, anyway; at first to get revenge on The Agency, then to have an easy way to access Aknaid.
Still, as the other man bowed, Alexei did the same. He might not be involved in the Legion, but that didn't mean he wouldn't fight fairly; he would give it his all to win fair and square. He was sure the other man felt the same way; not for his sake, but for the sake of his morals. Alexei summoned his Keyblade to his hand, feeling the now familiar heft of the blade in his hand. He would be going all out, and he was going to enjoy himself.

With both of his fists in front of him, his swords seemed to stand parallel beside each other. His left hand a bit further than his right, as if he was boxing, yet he held blades. He couldn't help but smile, as if he knew that his offspring watched his bout.
He was not one to actually deal with his organization, only meeting with the leader on a couple special occasions. Both, in a shop no one seemed to visit. It was mysterious to say the least, but it was how he preferred it.
He would tilt his head, just a bit further, his breathing a bit heavy. He would take in a breath, waiting for his opponent to make the first move. "Death does not exist in this world." he would think to himself, "Such an odd thought to think before a fight."

Alexei watched as his opponent settled into a fighting stance with a curious expression. He had never seen somebody fight quite like that; while unique fighting styles were common in the patchwork world of Pandora, fighting something new was always a treat. At the same time, though, Alexei wasn't stupid. It was almost always better to make your opponent come to you in a battle. The other man was trying to get Alexei to come to him, so that he could counterattack. Three years ago, Alexei would have fallen for it, but he was wiser now.
Instead, Alexei settled into his own battle stance. His right hand was raised with his Keyblade in hand, his left hand slightly below it. His knees were bent slightly as well, and his body turned so the God of Chaos' right shoulder pointed towards his opponent. It seemed like a standard martial arts pose, but with a weapon thrown in. Alexei stood in his pose, gauging the distance between him and his opponent and watching for any movements that might lead to an attack.

He couldn't help but smile. He knew someone experienced in combat wouldn't have blindly rushed towards an unknown threat. He couldn't help but wonder what made his name held in such honor. He heard it once or twice from the halls of the Legion, but now, now he would find out.
He would begin to smirk from behind the mask. "And so it begins." His hands would separate, moving slight from each other, both palms would open. The swords would fly between his arms, trading places. As soon as it switched, his right hand would raise up, and his wrist would seem to . . . spin?
The sword would begin to spin around and around like the propeller of a helicopter. The man's other sword still in front of him, however, held horizontally as the sword seemed to spin. In the matter of a second, he would jump up. His legs were crossed, as if his mind were meditating. The samurai would begin to lift off of the ground and fly into the air above the arena. He would keep going until he was two sword's length from the top of the cage, several dozen meters away from the man.
And to make the matters worse, he couldn't help but laugh. With the wind tunnel of his sword, it seemed to echo below. But he would stop again to take in another deep breath. "Dinok. Dorok." he would think to himself.

Alexei watched very cautiously as his opponent began to move, but he couldn't possibly have guessed what would happen. He was rather curious as his opponent's right arm began to spin; he wasn't sure what exactly caused it, but it wouldn't throw that much of a wrench into Alexei's plan. What tore the plan to shreds, however, was when he began to rise into the air. Alexei watched, wide-eyed, as his opponent lifted higher and higher into the air, their laughter ringing through the arena due to the wind his twirling swords were creating.
Alexei swore loudly as his mind raced, trying to figure out something to do. He quickly found something he could do; it might not be the smartest idea, but it was something he could do. Lowering his weight down to about 20 pounds, Alexei pushed his legs against the ground, throwing himself into the air until he was only a few meters below his opponent. He promptly imbued his Keyblade with Strobe Slicer and lashed out at the masked man's legs from below.

He always did like a challenge. These little things reminded him of how it was to be a human. Every day, he woke up with a feeling of regret. He regretting leaving his home so many years ago. He regretting leaving his son behind. He had no choice, it was as if his destiny was to leave things undone. As if they were meant to be left unfinished. . . but not today. As the man would push on the floor of the arena, launching himself skyward, Yoshimitsu would cease to end his helicopter. He would exhale a breath that was more than enough to end it all. The fog would quickly disperse, with the wind of his blades, it would descend to the man in a matter of seconds. He would smile as his sword begin to glow, the fog growing thick so the man wouldn't see a thing. His blade would then stop spinning, allowing the man to fall from the heavens directly to his target. The body of the masked man would fall as if he was an angel, only this angle brought death. The sword in his left would be extended in front of him, his right hand ready to deflect any, and every attack. But in the center of this great ball of darkness, Yoshimitsu's sword would find its way into the man's very body. It would pierce his heart, and the fight would be over. He was a fool to try and rush in so close. And now it was over, just like his life.

HP : 100% [Undamaged]Range of fog :
MP : 100% - 49% - 1%= 50%
Dokugiri: Harnessing his inner energy, Yoshimitsu can spit a thick colored fog from his mouth. The fog is larger as more energy is used into it. The fog makes it impossible to see through without a Sight Ability. The fog can be dispersed by any Wind Element type spell. Based on his Class, the size will increase. (Base cost is 1% MP)
C-Class : 2ft (+18in per 1% MP cost)
NAMUNAMU!: By paying an additional 1% per post, Yoshimitsu can charge his foggy mist with toxic gases, temporarily blinding anyone within range. This however deals no damage.

Alexei flinched as his view was suddenly obscured by a mysterious violet fog. Moments after that, his vision vanished altogether. With no way to spot his opponent, his Strobe Slicer went wide, missing completely. As the energy subsided, Alexei was struck by a horrifying notion.
I'm right below him, aren't I? This is bad.
In the few seconds he had, the mage would try to spin himself out of the way, but to no avail; he didn't have enough aerial mobility to get out of the way of the plunging death he was sure was coming. He felt something sharp pierce his chest. Alexei let out a howl of pain, Bark of Oblivion slipping from his hand as his consciousness already began to fade. In his last waking moments, he had only one thought:
I'm an idiot.
