Soul Eaters were birthed from the dark void that lives under the realm of lost souls. This world is known as purgatory, present-day Pandora. All of the evil souls and beings that were cast away to this darkness had merged together to create a single being.

At birth, they carry no memories of who they used to be, but still have some of their traits. No matter the origins or the paths they've chosen, a Soul Eater is dangerous to the population of Pandora. almost all Soul Eaters reside within the Netherworlds and will be reborn as long as they exist within their domain.

Be wary around a Soul Eater. When a Soul Eater takes a life, however small, they feast on the magical essence of the being. This leaves behind a lifeless, bloodless corpse that can only be filled by a Face Stealer. A Soul Eater will absorb all of this power for themselves, growing in power to collect the next gathering of souls.

A Soul Eater can consume another Soul Eater, and in some cases, even gods. In Pandora, it is often law to tend to the deceased as they can end up in the hands of a Soul Eater.
