Fight Among Monsters [C->B Exam]

A deep fog filled the center of the City of Hearts where the very soul of trade lay present. By this time it was the dead of night and not a soul was awake-- Or so the cute blonde faery thought. She hovered on top of buildings, hidden in the depth of her Black Jacket. She couldn't sleep very well due to the fact that she had been frozen in ice for a long period of time. What even happened? how did she get in that Icy state of being? It confused her greatly and for some reason she couldn't remember how she obtained her new found abilities and strength. She couldn't even remember how she got the long flowing jacket she was wearing or the Fox mask she wore. But It felt all so comfortable to her. She scanned her City for any and all trouble that she could possibly find but to her surprise, There was nothing- Which was odd.. It was too quiet.. The Clock tower dinged 2'O clock and Ruby's key blade appeare with a flash of silver in her right hand with bright lights. "..This is not a good sign.." As suddenly as the Weapon appeared in her hands, The heartless plagued the city square with great darkness; The small ones marched and jumped, glaring with yellow eyes- They appeared to have spotted Ruby.

Ruby Gripped her keyblade tightly, jumping off the roof and hovering towards her enemies. If they were going to try and take over her City they would have a hell of a time from her first. Small heartless wiggled their way towards Ruby with claws swinging. She replied with the blunt swing of her silver keyblade and from that one heartless bursted into darkness and disappeared. It wasn't going to be that easy.. Five more heartless surrounded her, preparing to attack in unison. One from the rear slashed its claws as soon as it got close enough, forcing Ruby to jump into the air- the next tackled from the front- Hitting Ruby in the stomach. In return Ruby swiped her keyblade across its neck, forcing it to give up its life. Ruby hit the ground, rolling on the cold stone- at least ten more heartless surrounded her. She was going to need to get a lot more serious if she wanted to protect her City..

Three Heartless directly in front of her joined hands and barreled towards her in a spinning formation. She glared from under her Fox mask and pointed her Key blade at the barreling trio. 'SOLAR FLARE!' a burst of light came from the tip of the dazzling key blade striking against all three heartless, leaving only a smoke like darkness. Ruby took advantage of this opportunity and hovered herself out of the encirclement of shadow beings. one after another she struck down with her shining weapon until all of the small heartless were destroyed. However.. This was just the beginning. A dark portal appeared from the base of the clock tower, a Clash and clink of heavy armor released itself from the dark portal and there it was.. One of the heartless found in the monster guide: Heavy Armor. This Heartless had arms and feet that were not attached to its body, yet they levitated around its center and its helmet did the same.

Items :

Ruby Readied her key blade in a downwards position as the armor spun its limbs around like a crazy circus. She planted her blade into the spinning arms, stopping the armors spin and went in for a strike to the body. However, The stun to the arms did not stop the Armor for very long. It began to spin once more, hitting ruby across the arm and face; This strike forced her backwards. It ran towards Ruby with clanking noises to land another blow, however, ruby jumped to the side, preparing her blade for another strike. First the key blade found itself swinging over the helmet of the armor , then across the body and into the swinging arms. This slight stun made sure Ruby had enough time to continue a swing at one of the arms until it was completely wiped out. She figured it out.. The only way to defeat the armor was to get rid of the limbs and go for the rest of it.. one piece at a time.

The Armor got even more wild when its left arm went missing. Its remaining arm spun even more quickly than before. Ruby could barely keep up to the spinning but knew what she had to do.. She rolled on the ground, swinging across its leg with multiple strikes and when she passed the leg, Ruby pointed her key blade at the leg. "SOLAR FLARE!" The burst of light from the tip of her blade was enough to destroy the right leg of the armor heartless. However, she was helpless on the ground for just a moment.. more than enough time for the Armor's wildly swinging Arm to counter her with a hammer like blow to the body. This sent Ruby rolling off to hit the base of the clock tower. She coughed up a good amount of blood, but soon got up with the help of her key blade. "You are going down In one more move." Her key blade vanished from her hand and from her Long flowing black jacket she swung out a massive hook ax.

Ruby wiped the blood from under her Fox mask and shed it to the stone ground. It was about time she showed off her real power. The one legged armor screeched at the top of its metal lungs and there it was.. Three more portals just like before. Three Large bellied heartless appeared, banging on their bellies. They rushed towards Ruby with killing intent at a good amount of speed as well; which was unexpected for how large they were. Ruby glared at the first in line charging at her. "Your moves would have worked If I was still using the key blade..  but this is something very different.." Three feet away the bellied heartless let out his devastating thrust. But In one over the head strike the hook ax came down like a bolt of Ice from hell, popping the poor fella like a badly refined bubble. Ruby then made it her goal to pop the other two in the same way.. which went down quickly and all that was left was a surprised, half dead Armor heartless.

The Armor waved his limbs around like a tornado looking to eat up a building. Ruby knew exactly how to defeat him and it would only take two moves if done correctly. She gripped tightly to the Icy Hook Ax and waited for the Armor to charge- Which it shortly did. She took a deep breath and allowed her Black light aura to engulf her. The armor's fist went straight for the face of Ruby Snow, However, she hooked it bravely in a masterful fashion, causing the arm to freeze and crack- The arm was destroyed. But the armor remained.. Ruby Slashed brilliantly across the leg, destroying it which left a black mist. the armor's torso sat on the stone ground in shame, It had not been able to do its mission. Ruby cut the head and torso in two, leaving only the black smoke of a Heartless's death in its wake. "Hahahahhaha!!!!!! .. Well, Well.. You are stronger than we thought.. That is good to know- For later." The snake like voice echoed through the city square and then its presence vanished.

Ruby wondered what the attack was about.. Was it just to see the strength of herself? was it to get a good look at her strengths and weaknesses? Whatever it was.. They would be back and she had to get stronger.
