A dragon returns (Closed)

Lance walked through the black market with a bit of a grimace on his face "I knew I shouldn't have came here..." he muttered underneath his breath at the corruption that was going on around him. The white haired Dragon shook his head and looked around "This place is full of surprises but I need to be on guard because that guy warned me about some Agency" he thought to himself as he glanced around the black market. He needed to get to the other towns in search of his uncle but for now he had stopped in Urban city to get some rest before heading out to De Fiore.

While Lance walked he was paying no attention to were he was walking and he bumped right into a person who had long red hair and a bear "Hey Cupcake~" the man said as Lance sighed "Not to mention this guy is here..." he muttered as he shook his head and walked right past the man that he had mistaken for Shini that one time.

Lance continued walking, looking around at all of the black market dealers and the people that bought the stuff. He didn't notice a rather large rack on the ground and fell face first into the ground.

Malm grimaced slightly as he glanced around his surroundings. He had to admit, when Mouse told him she had to go to Urban City to do something, this wasn't exactly the place he had in mind. Though he guessed he shouldn't be all that surprised. Mouse wasn't exactly one to be picky when it comes to unsavory company. He just wished she would tell him why they were here in the first.

"Uhh... So are you sure this is the right place?" The boy with green haired asked his rabbit-like companion.

"Yes. I'm sure. Why do you ask?" Mouse responded despite knowing exactly why Malm just asked that.

"It's just... This place is a lot more... Seedier then I'm normally comfortable with." Malm said as he rubbed the back of his head.

"Is it now?" Mouse said with a small smirk, "Look. You'll be fine. You have Phosphera and anything of value safe inside your backpack, right?"

"Yes."

"Good. Now I'll be back here as soon as I'm done with my business here. Just keep wary, stay out of trouble, and don't do anything stupid, and you should be fine. Understand?"

"Yeah, but..."

"Good." Mouse interrupted as she began to walk off.

Malm sighed once she was out of sight. One of these days he needed to learn to say no to going out on these little 'excursion' trips with her. At least until she starts telling him why they are there in the first place. Oh why is he kidding with himself? That would never happen.

Malm's attention was then grabbed by the sound of something crashing against the ground. Deciding to see what the matter is, he looked over in that direction to see that a man had tripped and fell.

"Hey. Are you alright?" Malm asked as he approached the fallen man, offering him a hand up. Hopefully he didn't injure anything to severely in that fall.

Lance opened his eyes from being unconscious and muttered under his breath "Ouch...". He said as he rolled over onto his back and took a deep breath. That fall had hurt his arm and it made his nose bleed. Lance held his nose with a hint of pain in his eye. The white haired man had broken both his nose and his arm from that fall and he would have to live with it for a while. His pain right now was unbearable as his nose was bleeding uncontrollably and his right arm hurt like hell every time he tried to move it.

"Hey. Are you alright?" a voice said over him. Lance looked up and saw a man with green hair standing over him and offering him a help up. Lance was about to remove his hand from his nose but it was bloody and he didn't want someone to see him like that. He got up himself and winced at the pain in his leg. Not only had he broken his right arm and his nose but he had also fractured his left ankle and scratched up both of his legs pretty badly.

Lance smiled at the man, still holding his nose "Thanks but I am fine." he said with a laugh that sounded painful to make.. This man was from around here and Lance didn't trust him one bit. Although, there was something off about this man and as Lance looked up and down he didn't think of the man as someone who would cause trouble. But no matter, Lance had already judged the man from the fact that he had approached him in this hell hole. He needed to find help so he turned and quickly started to limp away.

The man refused Malm's help as he got back up himself. He went on to claim that he was alright, but Malm wasn't sure. The man was strangely holding his nose, and it sounded painful when he laughed. Not only that though, but it looked like he injured his arm as well, possibly even breaking it. Then Malm's eyes took notice of a small hobble in the man's step as he walked away on his badly scratched up legs. It doesn't take much to know that the man was the farthest thing from fine.

"Sir. Please wait. You shouldn't be moving with those injuries. I know some healing magic and first aid. I can help you." Malm said to the man, not wanting to see him hurt himself anymore then he already has.

Lance stopped were he was standing and glanced at the man. He was hurting a lot and he didn't really want to deal with it any longer than he had to so he sat down on the ground and looked up at the man, still holding his nose and winced as he sat. "Fine. I will trust you to help me." Lance said stubbornly as he shook his head "As long at this wont hurt any longer." he muttered as he glanced at the ground. He didn't necessarily trust this man and he would be on guard while this man was helping him.

Lance sighed a bit "The names Lance Knighthunter and I'm the-" He stopped saying what he was because he remembered that the Agency could be anywhere and they would do tests on him in order to find the Origin of his magic. How did he know this man wasn't with them? He shook his head and smirked "Ah never mind what I am." he said with another painful laugh as he took his hand away from his nose which was still dripping blood "So if you can fix me up then that would be great. I have somewhere I need to be." Lance said with a smile as he tried to stand up but the pain was to much and he sat back down.

"Well it's nice to meet you Lance. I'm Malm Korlif. Now please don't move to much. You don't want to end up making any of your injuries worse do you?" Malm was slightly curious what the man was about to say, but decided not to worry about it. Lance probably has his reasons. There was no reason for Malm to pry.

"That fall did a number on you. Just warning you now, I'm not exactly sure if my magic will be able to fully heal your injuries. Yet I should still be able to fix you up enough that you can at least get moving again without being in to much pain." Malm explained as he got a better look at Lance's injuries. Then without wasting anymore time, Malm casted Remedy on Lance by focusing the healing spell into his green, right hand and touching the man's injured arm. It should begin to knit all of Lance's injuries, but as Malm stated, he wasn't quite sure by how much. Well if need be, he can always just use the spell again once it's fully recharged again.

Lance smiled at Malm as he touched his Nose and saw that it had stopped bleeding and was feeling a bit better. As for his scratched up legs and his broken ankle, they were working as good as always. The only thing that still hurt a bit was his arm. It was no longer broken but just a bit sore. He stood up and was able to stand with only a little bit of a sore but it would be fine. He grinned "Hey Malm." he said as he looked around him to make sure no one was looking and formed a ball of light in his hands "Lets do this again..." he muttered as the light got brighter "My name is Lance Knighthunter and I am the White Dragon Slayer." he said with a grin as he made the light go away with the flick of his wrist.

He shook out his arm and his leg to make sure he was at least OK to move and he was. Lance looked at him in the eye and scratched the back of his head with and awkward smile "Hey uhm thanks..." he said as his eye lit up "You know there is a group in Ninja town, the Yamigakure!" He said as he grabbed Malms hand "We could always use someone like you around!" he said with a cheerful laugh as he closed his eye "What do you say?" he said as he looked up at Malm "Want to travel back to Ninja town with me and see the leader?" he said with a smile.

Malm had helped him out and he didn't seem like a bad person. In fact he seemed like the right person for the Yamigakure. If Malm did join then there would be two mages in Ninja town. He smiled as he let go of Malm's hand "I mean you dont have to of course... we are about doing the right thing and fighting off the darkness." he said with a smile "You dont have to travel with me either."

"I'm sorry, but I... I'm gonna have to think about it." Malm said in response to Lance's offer as he pulled his hand free of the man's grip. He was really unsure how exactly to take Lance's offer.

I guess I should be flattered, but... I'm not so sure. Fighting off the darkness thing isn't exactly my style. Lance does seem to trust me now though, or else I don't think he would of told me that he was a Dragon Slayer. I got to admit though. I didn't knew any Dragon Slayers were left after the war. Glad to see that isn't true.

Wait... If he's a Dragon Slayer, doesn't that make him from Fiore. I wonder why he's a part of that group from Ninja Town. What were they called again? Yamigekuro? Yamigakure? Ehh... Well it was something along those lines. I wonder who this leader his talking about could be? Wait. Could it possibly be that girl Mouse and I met back in the ruins. She did say she was a leader back in Ninja Town after all. Ugh... Now I can't recall what her name was. I think it started with an 's'. Shelly? No. Shilly? Closer, but that's not it. Oh wait a second. Now I remember.

"It was Shini!" Malm suddenly exclaimed as he recalled the woman's name. It then took him a second or two that he just said that out loud. "Oh Uhh... Sorry about that. I just remembered something..." Malm said with a nervous chuckle. This isn't embarrassing at all.

To make matters worse, Malm began feeling movement inside his backpack. It seemed he had just accidentally woken Phosphera up from her nap. He really hoped that she doesn't want to come outside right now.
