Get the passport (Lance and Shini)

Job:

Lance walked through Ninja Town quietly. He had been hoping to go on a job with a specific person in order to get closer to her. He really did want to be friends with her but he needed to find her first. Lance had not talked to this girl since he first met her when he first came into town. He was looking for Shini Chikai, leader of the Yamigakure. He looked all over town until he saw a red haired lady sitting down He walked up to her and touched her shoulder "Shini?" he asked softly as the lady turned around he saw the face of a guy with long red hair and a beard "Hey baby cakes." the man said as he tried to pull Lance own into the seat next to him but Lance pulled his arm away. Lance slowly backed off with nervous laughter "I will never find her at this rate..." he muttered as he thought to himself whether or not he should just take the job alone.

"What did I say about having faith?" Shini said to the white haired boy. She needed to see more of Pandora if she really wanted to understand Kaseki. She was by far one of the few people who knew Kaseki well. There was things she knew that even Kaseki's offspring didn't. But first was first, she needed a passport to get out of Konahagakure and off to Urban City. She had to meet his son, Aknaid. With the aid of Lance, she could send him off to recruit more people. At least, that was the plan.

She knew where the long line of people were, but she wanted Lance to lead her too it. That was her test to him. After all, he needed to display his intelligence~

Lance got scared by the sudden voice behind him he turned around quickly and saw the face. All he saw was the red hair and he said "I'm not your baby cakes!" he yelled as he looked at the rest of the face a blushed with embarrassment "S- Sorry Shini..." he said softly as he slowly brought his head up to look her in the eye "Hey uh... can you come with me to get a passport?" he asked, his face still very red. He motioned his hand for Shini to follow him and started to walk towards the direction of the line.

He had not passed the line on his way here so he would walk around aimlessly and pretend like he knew what he was doing. He was making himself look stupid though by his unsure looks around. Eventually he would come across a line. The line was longer than anything he had ever seen "I found it!" he said happily. Lance's happiness would soon come to and end as he would take a look back at Shini "So... how should we handle this line?" he asked her with a comical sweat drop rolling down his face.

Shini laughed as she followed him. It was good to have someone who didn't rely on chakra in her village. After all, should they come across someone who could steal Chakra, Lance could be of great use.

He led her to the line, to which they waited... and would continue to wait. "We wait. I'm going to go to Urban City. I advise you to scout out other areas. If you can, try to get other people to become a part of us. The more people that gather under the flag of Yamigakure, the less we have to worry about later on."

And so she spoke.

And so the line moved.

Lance listened to her talk and he nodded. They waited in silence for a while until Lance broke it "You know Shini, I once went to Urban city... to much crime and evil... I hated it." He muttered as he shook his head and continued on "I met a man there. He was like this weird bug thing." he thought for a second trying to remember the name of the man. When he remembered his eyes lit up "Aknaid! That was his name!" he said happily as he finally remembered the mans name. That man had been on his mind a lot lately. Lance had a confused look on his face as he spoke now though "He said something about that my magic powers, if seen by this thing called 'The Agency', will get me taken in by them and tested on." he said as he shrugged his shoulders. Lance hated Urban City because it smelled funny but loved Aknaid because he had helped him get were he is now "If you see the man while you are over their tell him I said hi!" Lance said with a laugh.

This was the first time in forever that Lance was able to talk and laugh with someone seeing as he had trust issues with almost everyone he came across because of his uncle.

Shini laughed. Hearing about that place made her want to visit even more. "Aknaid is one of my close friend's son. I talked to him the other day and thanked him for sending you my way." She smiled. Everything seemed to be going right since that dinner at that castle. She didn't attend, but had heard great news from both Fetus, and Aknaid himself. "The Agency will never harm you as long as Yamigakure stands. This is why I'm hoping you'll go out to recruit some new people! The more people that become a part of out fight the less we'll have to worry about!"

Shini was overly excited to take her picture and get her passport. Everything was turning our perfect for once.

Lance nodded and gave Shini a warm smile "Thanks... and yeah sure I was going to use my passport to find my someone that cause me pain but I guess along the way I can do what you asked." Lance said with a small grimace. He had not told Shini or even Aknaid about his uncle because he didn't really trust anyone with that information yet. The line got shorter and shorter as time when past and finally they were at the front of the line.

Lance would be up for his picture and doing all the work first. The man taking the pictures had red hair the same length as Shini's and a beard. Lance was busy looking at something on a shelf so he didn't see the man until he spoke "Hey Baby Cakes! Did you come to get your picture?!" the man said. Lance shot up straight and turn around shakily "Y- Yes I did!" he said as he sad down. It took a while but the man took the picture and laughed "Your face is so cute!" the man said as he turned to get the Passport sorted out. Once that was done the man gave him the passport and waved "Have a nice day~" the man said as Lance walked out the door and outside to wait.

While he was waiting he took a look at the passport in his hand. His body in the picture was sat straight up and his face looked like he was horrified of something. He grimaced at his picture "Why the hell did that guy have to be here..." he muttered as he shook his head and waited for Shini to be finished with her thing.

Shini walked up to the counter, only to have then hand her one premade. It was odd, considering that the village was a mirror of her own. "We had them send over the details." A lady said to her. Shini nodded suspiciously. It was just odd to have a world so similar to hers, yet so different.

When she caught up to Lance, she smiled, hoping his adventure was better than hers. "So I guess I'll see you in Urban City one day..." Shini said softly. It was almsot embarrassing to be there. All she wanted to do was go home and see Gray, and forget about it all. Today was too much...

Lance stared at Shini and smiled warmly "I guess you will. I need to head over there first anyway to see if Aknaid knows anything about what I am searching for." he said softly. He ruffled her hair playfully and laughed "Come on lets get home..." he said as he passed her. His uncle was out there somewhere and so was Weiss. Lance was now more determined than ever to find them. Weiss was his dragon father and one day he just vanished... Lance decided that he would travel to the ends of the world just to be able to find him again. His uncle had caused him pain for many years so he was determined to hunt him down and end the pain he had caused him.

As he walked he stared down at the passport in his hand "Dad, Uncle... I'm coming..." he muttered as he brought his head up to look forward with a determined look. The first step was heading to Urban city to see if Aknaid knew of anything.
