[EVENT] Toon Trouble! (1/2)

There was nothing more to say to the people behind him. They were all here for their own reasons. Fetus had left Teemo in charge of Mermaid Tail while he took his vacation, but he knew this trip was anything but.

He walked along the cobblestone path, knowing that this was the first answer to the problems. If he wanted to save Pandora, he had to stand at the frontlines. He had to end this fast. He had to get things done.

The entire trip had been filled with mixed emotions of power and views. They were a rag-tag team of good and evil, all coming to Toonville to find the source of power... but what was it?

The green haired elf had took her first step into the kingdom known as Toonville. It was such a peculiar place. With her sack slung over her shoulder, she walked down the cobblestone road cautiously. It was definitely here, the strange energy Rin had been sensing for the past couple of days, this place was no doubt its source. Rin didn't like this one bit. It felt dark and evil and it was giving the lightning mage a slight headache, which was always something that irritated her. As she walked, she proceeded with caution all while rubbing her temples trying to relieve the stress of her headache.

Rin really did not like this place but being told about it from her guild master, she wasn't the type to sit idly by when someone she knew was going off to the battlefield. Rin may not have been the strongest mage out there, she was definitely not the type to back down from anything that came here way and so, that is how she ended up in this eerie place. Rin began looking around, seeing as she anticipated that her guild master must have arrived here ahead of her but there was no sign of the dog warrior anywhere. The fact that this dark energy had clouded Rin's ability to track down familiar energies, made finding Fetus all that much harder. "Jeez! Where could Master Fetus be? At this rate, I'll never locate him!" She said aloud out of frustration.

This was the infamous toon town? As locks of white hair blew in the salty moist, salty breeze, a town could be seen beyond the thick, blue waves making up the horizon. Lilinette crossed her arms, a look of amusement on her face. "This is the place that's been causing me trouble," As the smirk grew on her face, her eyes widened. An unplanned match up. Looking down, Lilinette uncrossed her arms and shivered, starring at the large bust of her chest, she took a deep breath, reminding herself that it had been there for a few days now.

Well, two days to be exact.

The scowl faded as a large creature walked behind her, a ten foot tall behemoth of a dog. He was the only one of her golems who even recognized her, and that was due to his smell. "I wonder if i'm even still human," She asked herself, wondering if this transformation from her former, prepubescent body was due to the golem half of her seizing control over the human half. Glancing to the side as she overheard some of the ship shouting "Prepare for docking!"

They were a few meters from the dock, and Lilinette snapped her fingers, "Laelops, hide." The dog shook its head, and leaped into the ocean, practically drilling into the ground, and following beneath Lilinette like a shadow.

Looking up, Lilinette cracked her neck.  The women would turn around, gripping the umbrella on the ground besides her, and opening it to block out the sun as she walked towards the bridge leading to the dock. "Thank you gentlemen." She asked, bowing ever so gently towards the agencies lackeys, and stepped foot onto toon towns ground.

Malm and Mouse both sat in a small bar in the middle of the town. Unlike the others, the two have been in Toonville for some time now. This is for the fact that they didn't come here in search of some mysterious power growing within it. Quite the opposite in fact. This trip was meant to be a long overdue vacation as they received a voucher for some kind of Hot Spring and Spa that opened here recently. At least that was the original purpose of this trip.

"Do you still think this is all just a trap?" Malm asked nonchalantly to his companion as the barkeep placed their drinks in front of them.

"Have you not have the feeling that we're being watched?" Mouse asked before taking a drink from her mug.

"Not really. I mean time to time when I was in the hot spring, but I thought that was just my nerves getting the best of me." Malm answered before moving to take a sip of his drink. Before he could however, Mouse quickly grabbed a hold of his mug and drank it's contents in one gulp. "Hey! What did you do that for?"

"Your to young to be drinking this kind of stuff."

"Says who?"

"Says me."

"Come on. I not only fought in one of the most deadly wars in Fiore, but also had helped protect all of Pandora from a variety of threats. I think I can handle a drink." Malm said in an attempt to persuade Mouse, but she wasn't buying it.

"All that doesn't matter. Your still to young to drink." Mouse told him as she waved towards the barkeep for a refill, "Besides. If you are not able to tell that someone has been watching us, the last thing you need to be is inebriated."

Malm sighed. "Fine" He said as he turned around on his stool in order to lean his back against the bar. "So lets just say this is a trap. Who do you think is the one that set it up?"

"That's the question. We haven't exactly done much to make many enemies, but the few we do have are sure to want our heads. What we know for sure is that who ever it is, they are bidding there time. Or else they would have attacked us when we were in the hot springs."

"Yeah. I guess that makes sense, but what are they bidding their time for."

"That's the question. It could be that they're waiting for both of us to get drunk.' Mouse said before downing yet another mug.

"Is that why you don't want me to drink?" Malm asked curiously.

"No. As I said before. Your to young."

Rin’s frustration that was caused by both her headache and her inability to track down the guild master, were starting to become apparent as lightning began to spark off her body. Even though it was quite insignificant, some people in town, seemed to take notice of it. The green haired elf walked around with an angry scowl on her face that could easily ruin her good looks.

The lightning mage decided she might as well try to calm herself so she could think straight. “C’mon Rin, keep it together, you need to calm down and think!” She said to herself in head as she gave her face a mental slap as well as a real one on her cheeks. Getting frustrated and angry was not going to help her at all. In order to calm herself further, she took deep breaths, inhaling through her nose and exhaling through her mouth slowly about five times with her eyes closed.

When she exhaled one last time, she opened her eyes again, now much more calm than she had been up to this point. The lightning had all faded away from her body, the angry scowl her face once showed, was now a more relaxed expression with a slight smile. Rin felt much better now that she had taken some steps to calm herself.

Now, with a calm mind and a new determination setting in, she tried to use her unique elven ability to locate her guild master but still no dice. As she thought, this dark energy was clouding her ability. It looked like Rin would have to just search the entire town for Fetus. However, first, she decided it might be a good idea to find one of the keyblade holders that Teemo had mentioned were also going to gather here in Halloween Town. Maybe if she could find one of them, they could lead her to her guild master. It was certainly worth a shot. Just as she was about to start her new search, her stomach gurgled, letting her know she was hungry. A little embarrassed, she blushed a bit.

Rin saw a tavern like restaurant type building a few feet ahead. Seeing as she knew that if she was hungry, it would be hard to focus on the upcoming battle and could even hinder her fighting. Taking her stomach’s ‘advice’ she headed straight for the restaurant she had spotted a moment ago. It was about a three minute walk from where she had been standing to the restaurant. Upon reaching the building, she pushed open the doors, to find it to be a rather lively tavern. She hoped that alcohol wasn’t all they served here. The place seemed to be rather popular judging by all the people at all the tables. The only place with an open seat, was at the bar. She went up there, and hopped up on the raised bar stool and swiveled to face the counter. Rin grabbed the menu that was propped up to the right of her and skimmed through it, trying to find something that was food and not booze. Unfortunately, the actual food they served was quite limited. However, one menu item caught her eye. She waved down the bartender. “I’ll have one of these please.” She said pointing to an item on the menu. The bartender nodded. “Sure thing!”

While she waited for her food, Rin looked around the bar, it was a real lively atmosphere compared to how it was outside, It was almost if that dark energy didn’t reach this place which Rin felt was very strange. However, she was thankful it didn't, her headache was finally gone and she could enjoy a quick bite to eat while trying to come up with a plan to find either her guild master or one of the many keyblade holders that were going to gather here in Halloween town.

Alexei walked through the streets of Toonville, enjoying the sights as usual. Last time he had been here, it had been for a job, so the God of Chaos hadn't had the opportunity to enjoy the city fully; now, although he had a goal, there wasn't a distinct time limit on it. Alexei fully intended to enjoy his stay in Toonville, one of the most unique places in Pandora. The 'Toons' that lived here were an odd bunch, carefree and whimsical, so Alexei fit in just fine; in fact, he was considering taking out a permanent residence here. He wouldn't stay there much, of course, but it would make a fabulous vacation home.

The trip would even give him a chance to investigate the group known as Mermaid Tail; while they didn't seem suspicious, Alexei was in the habit of learning everything he could about the various groups in Pandora. Plus, from what he'd heard, his morals and theirs seemed to line up well, so it would be a chance to sympathize with similar people. The leader of the search for the mysterious energy in Toonville was also the leader of the group, so Alexei was looking forward to taking part.

As the God of Chaos continued to sightsee, however, he couldn't shake the feeling that he was being watched...

Looking behind him, he would notice a change in the faces of his friends. They seemed to melt of their skin like butter on a hot day. He knew what the cause was, as well as the reason it had gone quiet for so long. He would reach out and call upon his keyblade for help. It would appear in a flash of light, blinding the false allies. He would run at them, swinging his weapon, slaying the small creatures in a single swipe.

But he knew it would not end there. If these hellspawn had been following him for miles, it was only enough to say that they were beginning to escape this world. But who was in charge? What did they have? Why did they leave? And most importantly, where was everyone else?

Turning back towards the gate, Fetus called upon the great shape shifting gods. He would turn into a massive dragon with tiny arms, much like a Tyrannosaurus Rex with large bat wings. The weapon would dangle in his hands as he would take flight.

He too would soon enter the battle ground of Halloween Town, but first, he wanted to see what they were up against.

Umbrella in her hand, Lilinette watched as creatures spawned around her. "So, this is the phenomenon that has been hindering Toon town," there were a lot of them scattered around the area, and people, civilians none the less, ran in a panic. Cracking her neck, she looked forward, paying no mind to what might be behind her. "I suppose this is the welcoming committee," The women spoke, blood red eyes surveying the area. "I would have never gu-" 

The ground shook and a loud snapping sound could be heard, coming from behind Lilinette. Turning her head, she saw her prized possession, Laelops. A black, jester-like creature, a creature like all the others, was in its mouth, dead. The poor thing wasn't even struggling. 

"Good boy Laelops," Lilinette spoke, twirling around as her umbrella glowed, constructing its own form into that of a blade. As she did a 360, she sliced through three advancing crawlers. "No touching," She spoke, "I should come to except such behavior from the brute hands of man, this new body seems to be more of a blessing then a curse." She then leaped back, avoiding the pursuit of in coming opponents. Turning her head as she sliced through the one of the hell spawn before her, she saw a most peculiar site, "A key blade in the hands of the dog?" She spoke, "I wonder if it knows nameless..." Or how to kill the bastard.

Alexei
Alexei's revelry and sightseeing was rudely interrupted by a brief rumble in the ground. Years of practice kicked in as Alexei reflexively moved into a combat position, and it was just as well: No sooner had the God of Chaos prepared himself than a set of grotesque creatures emerged from the ground. The townspeople in the area took off, fleeing for their lives in an attempt to get to safety; Alexei watched as they ran, prepared to protect them, but the creatures seemed to focus in on him specifically. This was a good thing; Alexei didn't want to have to protect people as he fought.

Alexei showed no alarm as the creatures moved to surround him; in fact, he seemed to become more excited, his muscles tensing with anticipation. "It's been a while since I've fought something inhuman," the God of Chaos muttered, excitement palpable in his voice. "This is great. I'm sick of feeling bad about beating on things." With the flex of a muscle, Alexei prepared to head into combat, only to be interrupted by another miniature quake. "What now?" the white-haired man grumbled, only to be answered by a roar.

Turning his head upwards, Alexei was treated to a bizarre sight. There was a dragon of some sort, although not of any breed the God of Chaos could identify; in its talons dangled a Keyblade. Alexei certainly hadn't been expecting that, although he wouldn't put it past Kaseki to give a Keyblade to a dragon. He wasn't sure whether the dragon was on his side or not, either, but it didn't matter right now; the important thing was taking out the creatures around him. Moving back to what he was doing before, Alexei conjured his own Keyblade; with two quick strokes, he took out the two nearest Heartless. "Bring it on," Alexei yelled, elated and confident.

Keyblade:

Hershel gives a deep sigh as he watches the sight in front of him. "I go to use the restroom for one minute, and you all decide to start the party with out me." He complained, "There's even a dragon swinging an over size key. Ugh..."

Hershel looked around for a second to see if there's any fun to be had here. There must be some way to turn this whole thing all about him. That's when he saw a couple Heartless making their way towards him, giving him an idea.

"Come on everybody. How much do you all bet that I can hit the dragon with one of these Heartless creatures?" He called out loudly as he pulled out a bat out of nowhere. Then, after a few practice swings, he batted a few of the Heartless in the dragon's direction.

Malm looked over at the door as he heard some type of commotion going on out there. "Well there goes our vacation." He sighed.

"Are you really all that surprised?" Mouse asked as she drank yet another mug of whatever liquor she was drinking, "Something like this seems like it's bound to happen to happen where ever we go."

"Yeah. I guess your right." Malm sighed once again, "Well I guess I should go out there and see what exactly is going on." With that, he stood up from his stool and gave a little stretch. "Can you keep an eye on Phos for me while I'm gone."

"Yeah. Of course. As long as you trust me drunk around her."

"How about you don't drink anymore then? You already said that this is all just one big trap."

"Fine. But you better come back safe."

"Yeah yeah. If I die, your gonna take me to a world of pain." Malm quoted before leaving the bar with a wave good bye.

Once Malm was gone, Mouse turned to face the young Pichu and said, "You better not end up causing me any problems here. You understand?"

Malm stopped for a second as he looked around. All around him he could see dark creatures all around him attack people. Things appeared to have gotten pretty bad, pretty quickly. He wondered what happened to cause all this. Especially for that odd looking dragon to be flying around as he was.

"Well where to start first?" He asked himself as he looked around. He found his question to be quickly answered as three of those shadowy creature appeared before him. "Well that works." The creatures then quickly moved to attack him, but before they were able to reach him, Malm pulled out his rapier and countered them. Yet, despite aiming to only disable the creatures, the three creatures burst into nothing.

"Huh... That's new. Does that mean they were summoned?"

Heartless Remaining: 33/46

Slipping on his mask, Sindra finally decided to make his move, seeing as his comrade had already began his assault. A few of the shadowy creatures running amok came towards the alley he was waiting in. Snickering a bit he pulled out his scythe, Shosei, and slashed at a few. Although most of his opponents provide him with a chance to slip past the others. However, it seemed like the heartless weren't his only enemies here. Though he couldn't quite tell what affiliation the other people he saw were, it was safe to assume he shouldn't make too much of an effort to get their attention, considering Snake's position. On the other hand, it appeared that he wasn't necessarily alone here either. He ran up towards the only familiar face on the battlefield.

"Comrade, it's..." he paused, gathering his thoughts. What exactly was it? He didn't feel all that close to Hershel, but he certainly didn't feel distant... "A... pleasure to see you here. I hope you're enjoying yourself with these creatures," he concluded. Hearing something behind him, he swiftly pulled out his Evoker and fired it into his temple, "I summon you... Orpheus!" he burst out, summoning the harp wielding Persona who proceeded to strike one of the heartless. Lunging forward, Sindra lifted Shosei and split the creature in half, destroying it. With a certain passion, Sindra raised his hand and snapped in the direction of another heartless. "Agi," and with that, Orpheus's face expelled heat. The unsuspecting shadow beast didn't move in time to avoid the burst of flames that followed, eliminating a second beast. "Perhaps it would be better to focus on fighting rather than talking, hm?" Orpheus asked rhetorically. Sindra just nodded.

He was flying over Halloween town with the thought of evil and destruction in his tiny dragon mind. It was an odd change. Even though it was only his body, he didn't have most of the powers that a dragon held. He would attempt fire, only to find it to be impossible.

Looking below, he would see the many faces of Pandora fighting off this swarm together. While they fought for different reasons, they were aligned under the same cause. They were going to destroy these little shadowy bastards.

Tapping into the keyblade once more, his body would change shape. This time, more fitting to his style. He would ball up, his wings folding him into a sphere, only to change shape into a square. His skin would turn gray... and he would take the shape of a giant concrete block, which his keyblade in the center.

He would fall from the sky at a great speed, looking like a meteor. For him, it was his biggest entrance, something his own master would be proud of. But a few feet before hitting the ground he would turn into a rubber mold of himself, hitting the ground and bouncing up, only to return to his normal pug like dog form after.

"Let's get this party started," he thought. "There's no more time for games."

Meanwhile... another key would appear. And next to the stool of Rin. But would she take it?

Rin has possession of Starfall's Blessing. Possession may change during this event. Remember, the Starfalls are judging you. If you're lucky, you may have one appear next to you. But if you're not so lucky, you may find yourself without one... unless you change fate.

"Bastards," The maiden would mutter, her breath used to utter those words words were harsh, cold, heavy. As Lilinette sliced through another Heartless, she watches her companion behind her, Laelops, bite into the skulls of three Heartless, yanking their heads from their bodies. "Good boy L-" Before she could even finish, a ray of liquid, seemingly water, bashed into Laelops's side, slamming him into the ground.

"Lealops!" Lilinette, shouted, turning her head to try and see where that came from. Gripping her fist tightly, her blade turned into an umbrella. Rushing towards Lealops side, hail began to rain down from the sky, bashing into the umbrella (which luckily acted as a shield). As she got to her pet, Lilinette saw a piece of this "hail" dart past her. "it's brown?" She asked, a bit confused. "Why would it be... Is it earth?"

Eyes wide, Lilinette looked up, upon a near by roof top, a women stood. Most of her skin showed, except for her breasts and crotch which were covered by a bikini, and her hands, covered by white gloves. "Hello there!" The women shouted, snapping her fingers, and revealing an army of heartless behind her, causing 50 more of the to parade around the field.  

The women waved, and Lilinette cracked her fingers. "Leena," Lilinette shouted, calling forth the summon who had just taken out three of the heartless, "Blast that bitch off that roof top!"

The women smiled, and picking up her hands she began to charge. "With pleasure," As electriciy shot from her hand, the women leaped from the building. Water began to pool from her gloves, and shot right towards Leena, Lilinette, and the collapsed Laelops. "Shit!" Lilinette shouted, holding up her umbrella and blocking the blast. As the pressure from the other side ended, she lowered umbrella, "Bad idea,"

Lilinette's eyes widened as a foot came towards her, bashing into her gut and causing her to fly into a wall behind her.

"Who are..." Before she even finished, the thought came to her. A realization. The women had long, flowing blonde hair and piercing red eyes, an exact copy of Lilinette's anatomical structure.

A clone.

"My name is Morgana Harleen Mori, And I'm here to stop you from hurting anymore of my friends."

Hershel watched in anticipation as his Heartless flew through the air towards the dragon. However, none of them seem to have made it to there intended target as another set of three Heartless intercepted them, causing explosions of darkness to happen in mid air.

With an annoyed look on his face, Hershel turned to see who ruined his fun, to only see someone that looked exactly like him, staring right at him. "Hey! What are you doing trying to steal the spotlight from me!?" They both yelled at each other in unison. Noticing what happened both blinked before approaching each other. They then gave each other the once over before noticing an important detail. They didn't just look like each other, they were two copies of the exact same toon.

"Who the hell do you think you are looking exactly like me? Some kind of clone?" They both yelled at each other in unison once again, "Who are you calling a clone? I'm the original one here! Your the one that's the doppelganger."

Something tells me this isn't going to end any time soon...

Hershel's Ramaining: 2... I think...

Alexei continued his dance with the Heartless, slicing his way through the nameless shadows like a typhoon. His Keyblade moved gracefully as he cut through one, two, three Heartless, feeling as light as his conscious did. It felt great to cut through things without any remorse; it brought Alexei back to a simpler time, one where he hadn't cared. Now, though, he couldn't help but feel bad for opponents; in a way, he missed the days where he could cut somebody in two just because he felt like it and not feel bad. As the dragon shifted and began to barrel down onto the battlefield, Alexei' spirit soared.

In the nearest alleyway, however, was a man who did not share the same feelings as the God of Chaos. Viktor watched Alexei from a safe vantage point, the pink-haired man's machinations moving exactly as planned. He was smart enough to know that he wouldn't be able to beat the white-haired man, but time would inevitably give an opening for Viktor's triumph. For now, he would just watch...and wait.

Heartless Remaining: 68

Malm ran through the roads of the town, trying to see if there was any one in need of help. Along the way, there were a few of those strange dark creatures that tried to attack. Each one of them bursting into a puff of darkness when he defeated them.

"What exactly is happening here?" He asked as he looked around. It appeared the dragon that had disappeared. Probably is behind some of these building fighting these creatures too. At least that's what Malm hoped. He knew full well that there was a chance that the dragon could be related to these creatures.

And Malm was no match against a true dragon.

Malm is next to encounter his counterpart.

"It's only a matter of time before the next keys present themselves." Fetus would think to himself while running at his foes. There was buildings dividing most of the party from each other's sight. They were so close to one another, yet they did not see everyone else fighting back.

Fetus would swipe his weapon into the faces of these creatures, turning them into a black mist after impact. He could smell the new toons arriving, but it appeared everyone else's copies had arrived... but where was his?

Leena fell to the ground, unable to move. Her body spazzed out as she was coated in water, electricity inevitably blasting in every which direction, jumping from blace to place, and entering where electricity should not go. "Shit," Lilinette muttered, eyeing the toy of hers, yet keeping Her clone in her peripheral vision. "So, multiple element control, not an easy feet to master." Lilientte, spoke, putting her full attention back towards the young women.

"Why thank you. I'm sure mastering summoning isn't easy either,"

"You're right, neither is killing someone and stuffing their body with elemental magic." Tilting her head, Lilinetted smiled at the girl. Her head switched, and her eyes began to become filled with digest. "Y-You, You murdered people?"

Lilinette let out a laugh of excitement, "Yes, many. Only a few made it to become my... test subjects." Letting out yet another laugh. The girl held up her finger. "You're a cruel, wretched monster. And I will have it seen that you see the errors of your ways! Heartless! Kill her!" at least fifteen, if not twenty of the surrounding heartless charged towards her. However, Lilinette only scoffed. "Combust."

With a snap of her finger, Leena exploded. Flames engulfed the heartless, and the doppelganger. Smoke filled the area, and Lilinette shook her head. "It was not who sent your men in to kill me, but me who sent them in to be killed. You're mistake was damaging my golem beyond repair, and your timing was perfect, for if it had been just a few seconds later, she would have been dead, and unable to explode. Thank for the match, no matter how short it was. For it was entertaining."

Turning her head, looking at Laelops, the injured beast next to her, she bent down, "Time to fix you u-"

A large rock flew towards her, and once again, using her umbrella she stopped it in its path. Clenching her fist, she saw the smoke and debree begin to fade. "What the hell," She asked, shaking her head as she saw a human sized earth dome where her opponents body used to be.

The two Hershel's went on and on how they were the real Hershel for what seemed like hours. In truth it was no more then a few minutes and the two were talking at speeds that only one as crazy as them would ever understand. Yet after their chat, they seem to have come to an agreement of sorts. And if that happens to sound like a cop-out to you.

Congratulations. Have a cookie.

"So your me and I'm you?" One of the Hershel's said.

"That's my understanding of it." The other Hershel answered.

"So which one of us is the real Hershel?"

"I... Don't really know."

"So how should we figure it out."

"Hmm... That's a good question. The real Hershel would obviously be more famous then the fake one, but how do we determine that?"

"By killing these Heartless that have swarmed us all of a sudden." Both Hershel's looked around to see a number of Heartless slowly surrounding them.

"Nah. That's to easy. Even the normal people can do that." They both then looked each other in the eyes as the same idea entered their heads.

"TALENT SHOW." They both yelled out at the same time with devious smiles on their faces.

Sindra worked with his Persona in excellent coherence. As the lyre wielding warrior swung downwards on a heartless, Sindra raised his scythe upwards to destroy the beast. After wailing upon a second beast. the boy noticed that his ally, Hershel, was facing off against a replica of himself. Or at least, something of the sort. Deciding to leave him to his own battle, Sindra ran off to see if he could investigate anything else, or to see if he could perhaps find a second ally. He did notice many people around, but failed to take note on them before a large heartless lunged towards him. In the nick of time, Orph rushed the beast knocking it away, and allowing Sindra to destroy him with his sword.

Rin Moriyama has been dropped from the Event. Before other Keyblade is revealed, this Keyblade must be obtained.

Taking the shape of a griffin, Fetus would waste no time to flap his new giant wings. The gust from the wings with his own perks from his weapon would make a stream of great velocity, sending various tiny monsters to their doom as they slammed into the walls of various buildings.

He was no longer trying to protect this place. He needed these creatures gone. And he needed to find the end to this madness.

"Perhaps I should have taken Teemo with me..." he thought to himself.
