The Quest to Fight all the Things: Beginnings

Saige walked up to the stadium, her giant hammer on her back and the chain wrapped around her right arm and leg. She had been waiting for this, an opportunity to fight and actually get rewarded for it. Well, rewards that weren't glory and a meal for the night. But most of all, she was excited for the thrill of fighting. It had been so long since she had fought someone else who had been properly trained and forged themselves into a proper fighter. It was enough to make Saige's blood boil with excitement.

Saige walked into the lobby and up to the counter. The man there looked down on her beaming eyes and sighed. "Y'know, I'd say you're too young to be doing this, but we had two other children join this tournament, so just sign here and I'll let you in." He said. After Saige heard his words, she smiled. "Sounds like fun!" She replied as she signed her name on the paper and handed it to the man. The man looked it over and looked back at the girl. "Looks good. Go over there, and then you'll be good to go."

Saige ran happily over to the waiting area he had pointed out. As she sat down, her hammer clunked and the chains that wrapped around her body loosened. She grasped the chain tightly in excitement. Soon, her journey would begin. Soon, Saige will begin fighting all the things.
