The Chilling Winds [Closed]

Toriel walked idly through the Spirit Wilds, a new location quite foreign to her. What strange t hings could possibly await her in this place, what new secrets could be lying behind each corner? There was only one way to find out, and that was through exploration. The most reset Iron Fist Tournament fight had concluded, and Toriel found it in her best interest to take a break for the tie being. She would return to her training and such at a later date.

samantha had ounce agina returned home when she saw something that didn't belong a living being. "you know the living shouldn't not now nor ever mingle with the undead while we sleep its bad for your health may i ask why a traveler such as your self is here?" "of course if you want my belling to travel though this place ou must earn it. for the queen of the shadow walkers demands it.

Toriel quickly turned to face this newcomer, furrowing her brow as she approached. "The queen of the... I do not have to report to you. I go where I please." Toriel took a step back, though her eyes glared down at this person. Who did she think she was? Toriel was not the one to run headstrong into combat... but she had become fairly more confident in her combat prowess. "I advise that you depart... I don't want you to get hurt, child." Toriel brought her hands to her sides, ready to engage if this strange woman pressed on any further.

"the living have no right to intrude upon the dead." "once someone or something dies thats it they are disconnected form the living forever." "thats the law of nature." "that being said i am am neither living nor dead so its fine if we talk or would you rather we went a round or more."

Toriel took a step forward. "Like I said, you have no rule over me. Whatever you are. If you are truly not living... yet not dead..." Toriel pointed a finger out, an obvious challenge to Samantha. "Then it's time we send you back to wherever you came from. Stand your ground and fight." Toriel took another step forward, advancing towards her. Judging from where they were, Toriel stood a solid 20 meters away from her, with not much in the way of obstacles around them let alone a few scattered boulders and a tree or two. Toriel wondered how this would fare in the end...

"i meant no harm my kind do not wish to harm the living we feed on the dead." "and i am a shadow walker." " if we do this it will be a friendly fight got it if not i'll just walk away?" *she says with a smile on her face."

Toriel charged forth at the woman. Pandora was not the place to go about with her attitude. Pandora was a strange and ruthless place that would eat her whole, and if Toriel did not teach her of the dangers that lurked here and now, then it would only be problematic later on in the run. She could even run into something less leniant than herself, more brutal, and could possibly even lose her life. Hopefully after this fight, Samantha would learn and take from it. An introduction to Pandora. Toriel outstretched her hand, summoning her spear to her hand and holding it out in front of her, ready to skewer Samantha upon it. This was all for her own good. In the end, she would hopefully come to see this.

"i've killed people you know alot mostly my own kind pandora isnt the place for gentle sort like you and the this part is even worse you have to be ruthless." "you have to be able to kill." "kindess gets you know where sure i love the living but i will defand myself if need be." *she says befor runing up a tree and jump up and over the other womans head.

Toriel watched with a glare as the girl leapt to the air in an attempts to go over her, though Toriel simply followed her motions, thrusting up the spear so that the momentum of her falling would simply stake her upon it. Surely one could not adjust their movements without some other assistance. It was simple; the match might be over sooner than it began, with the simple fluid motion of her trident. Toriel was vaguely even listening to what the girl had to say, something about kindness getting one nowhere or something along the lines of that. Not that Toriel cared franky...

grabbed onto the weapon with all four of her arms and uses them to swing on it and kick the other woman in the face using her height and weight to balance herself "unless that has slayer magic or holy magic it wont harm me." "tell me who is stronger the ruthless or the kind?"

The moment Samantha grabbed hold of her spear, Toriel dispelled it, leaving Samantha to continue falling, right down toward Toriel. With only a simple few meters separating her from the ground, Toriel would bring her hands to her side, a bright blue glow coming to them, before she trusted her hands straight at the airborne Samantha, screeching, "Kameha!" as she did. The energy would surge quickly, and with the very short distance between them, be searing Samantha in less than a second.

- Kameha: The user thrusts both of their hands forward to shoot a blast of energy from their palms. This attack is not considered elemental. Range is 150% of the user's level in meters. Speed is half of the user's level in meters. Damage is equal to the user's highest spell rank. Cost is equal to half the required cost of a spell of the same rank.

"you didn't answer my question." she said doing a roll mid air aiming right for the ground. "but its fine i'm done fighting i am not gonna attack the living." "its agest my races rule." she said letting herself hit the ground.   she got up and dusted herself off. putting herself right in range of the attack.

The beam enveloped the woman, searing her body and sending her back a few meters. Once it had ended, Toriel approached her, shaking her head with a sigh. "There are hundreds out there stronger than  you, child. If you keep this hardy mindset of yours, it will only get you killed in the end, you must understand this." Toriel kept her hand securely on her hip, in case she needed to bring our her beating stick if she pressed the attack, or decided Toriel's words would not get through to her. "Keep on this silly path, and it will only lead to your demise."

"stop being kind mortals are not kind not to undead not to my kind." "unless they want something form us." "but we still depend on them for breeding and food breeding when they are alive food when dead." "we dont ask for anything else in return." "yet you still spit on us like we are dirt."

Toriel shook her head, keeping her hand still within easy range of her stick with a sigh. How lost was this girl... how confused was she truly. Toriel had seen the spite and hatred humans could harbor in their hearts... but bringing upon suffering and death in return was not the way. "I understand..." she said, approaching her. Toriel's fingers no longer rested at her hip, but instead in front of her. "But the path you go on will only lead to your ruin. It always does... For everyone. Let me show you another way. A brighter path of justice."

"who's gonna pertact humans form her?" she says point to yet another shadow walker coming closer. right as she is about to attack Samantha is hit with a wave of pleasure. "i really dont need this not when a rogue shadow walker is her to hurt my new friend i cat allow it." she said out loud as she ignored the waves of heat her body gave off and charged after the womanin front of het tackling the rogue to the ground.

Toriel stood back, avoiding the clash that was going on between the two. She was just a lost soul, that's what she was. Confused even, perhaps. Though Toriel hoped she could possibly help her find salvation in the land of Pandora. "Don't hurt yourself, she does not seem too much of a threat." Toriel watched as the two engaged in battle, hoping that the young undead would come out a victor. "What is it that you fight for?"

"thats simple i fight for the living that just want to live peacefully in Pandora so if it means i have to endure there hate and spite and kill those of my kind that wish to see all living life wiped out then so be it." "thats what the blacklight clan fights for thats what we stand for."

Toriel offered her hand out to the four armed woman, probably being much smaller than the towering person. "Then let me help you. Let me show you the kidness that the living can offer. Let us together shape and mold a world into something better for both of our kind. For undead. For monsters. For humans. Let us live in unity." Toriel smiled, a bright and warm gesture to the creature who had probably suffered much in her lifetime. "Join me at Mermaid Tail."

"you mean it you mean that i dont have to wander around and watch my back anymore you mean that there are living out there who are kind?' "will if thats the case then i would be glad to join mermaid tail." Samantha said grabbing the goat woman's hand. "oh by the way i might not look it but i am 180 years old." Or 18 in human years"

Toriel held the woman's hand and began walking off with her. Their next destination: Mermaid Scale. She wondered if Fetus would approve of her bringing a new person to the guild with her; Samantha would be the first person she had ever actually recruited. It'd be nice to see some new faces about now and again... though Toriel still didn't have a face for all her fellow guild mates.
