A loud roar can be heard from the monument above the village. A large shadow is downcasted, making parts of the streets as dark as night. A massive beast stands tall.

Anubis want his essence. Yama wants him as a pet. Hades wants the village safe from him. Which side will you take?

NOTE: By default, no user can die. It is only by the user's choice, that their death can be enabled for this thread. All participants will receive a reward based on their alliance for completing the thread in their favor. By enabling their own death, they have a chance to win additional rewards.

He stood there smiling at the sight of the creature. His massive Kabutowari axe was in his right hand, as the axe was gripped in the other. He looked at the open field on top of the fake mountain of this imposter world. "Yamigakure is the true Konoha." he thought to himself. "So this beast is most likely a cheap copy of our bijuu as well." he laughed.

He was ready to fight this monster, but he had hoped his friends would arrive soon.

Enabling my death.

Everything was lost to that goddamn woman. He would never trust someone ever again. He had let himself be persuaded to have a partner. He had let someone join him in his bounty hunts, onto to have her steal all of his weapons and other items in the middle of the night. He was furious to say the least. but now he looked up at the sky and saw nothing but a large and loud beast on top of the Monument. He would smile as he would travel up to see. . .

. . .Up there, he would find some people ready to take the beast down. Some armed, others not. He would have to wait for the time being. He needed a weapon. He needed to get it from someone. Perhaps another hunter would aid him, pr he would have to kill another to get a weapon to kill the beast.

All in the name of a bounty.

Randous had arrived in Konoha for some time now. The leads had come up empty and the search was growing tiresome. How could he hunt that which he could not find? It had been a troublesome struggle. The Mercenary found himself ontop of one of Konoha's rooftops just... brooding by himself as he usually did. He had come fully armed for these beasts, and a rather heavy load it was. What was he to do?

And thus Pandora had answered him.

The armored mercenary heard above on the giant monument a rather large cry. A part of him grew frightened by the mighty beast's call, whilst another part welcomed it with excitement. Grabbing one of his many weapons on his person... he prepared himself.

[Enabling Death.]

These people were fools to come so inexperienced. It didn't matter what tools you had in hand or how perfect they were for the situation. Experience always held the highest advantage.

Kenpachi Ryusan, The Giant Slayer. It was a name he chased and chased after. In his own world. he had taken down plenty of beasts. Today was no different for him, though now he had paracites trying to feed off his goal. He needed to get rid of them first, if he was expected to bring the monster back alive.

From behind the trees, he would watch them gather and assess the beast. But he would assess his pawns. He saw a masked man with many of weapons, and one with a demon's face holding large tools. Lastly was a strange boy with glasses who looked lost and confused. And as such, was his first target.

He would begin to run at the boy, just as the large beast continued his blind rampage. There was no time to waste being sneaky, he needed to kill the boy. The less in his way, the more he had a chance at succeeding. He would run to the boy and charge at him, throwing him to the edge of the monument. The fall was enough to kill anyone unless they had wings or could defy gravity. But he was sure he was as helpless as he looked.

Everyone in this world was helpless.

Wasting no time, he had to take down the beast. He had gotten there late, climbing the last few steps to the top, he could see the infighting. He had to make a difference. These people were going to kill the beast. He would have to focus on bringing him down unharmed for his prize. Yama was counting on him. If he couldn't take down the beast, he'd have to use them for the time being, and if they caused danger to life, he'd have to be ready to take their lives.

"I hope Velvet is waiting for me." he hoped in the back of his mind. "I'll make it back in time for dinner."

At least that was the plan.

They were all foolish enough to face him, He roared at their arrogance. They dared to challenge him? They were ants compared to just his eye alone. All it would take is a single stomp to kill one of them in an instant, or a breath to blow them off the mountain and down to fall to the village ground.

"RRAAAAAAAAAGGHHHHHHH!" he would yell out, a tone so beastly that all would be shaken and halted in his presence.

He quickly looked down at his feet to see what lay before him. He was smart enough to see they would kill each other before even trying to fight him. It would be amusing for the moment. For now he would watch and observe, taking large steps with each moment, shaking the ground.

Would would be stupid enough to strike first? Surely one of them was dumb enough to play hero.

He would run at the beast's left foot, weapons held high, and a not a word escaped his mouth. The beast had to go down. For now, he would aim at the inside of his ankle and hope to stagger the beast, at least enough to get more vital shots.

"But they have no tails?" he thought to himself. noticing the horns. "Perhaps these horns are the counts of power." He smiled as the axe would hit the foot of the beast, the axe would bury itself into the flesh.

"Then he is a cheap copy of Matatabi." Natsu thought. "Which means he will be a simple feat. . . "

Watching the beast, he had to make a plan to attack the creature. He was focused, almost ignoring the man running at him. He would turn to face Kenpachi who charged at him, only to push back when he came at him. Witch his force, he would throw him to his side.

He needed to get rid of him, but at the same time, he needed a weapon. Surely something could be scavenged off the man, he just needed to kill him first...

Skipping Randous as its been over 2 days.

The difference in their power was enough to make the difference. Kenpachi charged at the man, only to shove him backwards and off the cliff to his death. There was no contest of what he was capable of. He knew well who was on his side, and all he had was that white haired man at the moment.

He looked around to spot the demon faced man and the weapons in his hands. He was harming the beast. He would wait for the right time to strike that man and take his tools so he could take down the beast without killing him.

"Damn ninja." he thought to himself. "I'll paint the village red with his blood."

[Sorry. IRL came up.]

The mercenary felt afraid.

This monster was certainly intimidating as it let out a mighty bellow challenging the many who came to kill it. It's roar was boisterous and murderous. All Randous could do to calm himself was think that he was different from most of the others. He was a soldier, he was well-equipped. He was prepared. But what kinda experience could prepare one for something like this?

The Mercenary went about traveling to the monument towards his target. Leaping off the building he was on towards the next until he reached the strange zig-zag staircase the ran through to the top of the monument. He found himself halfway through the staircase with this final mighty leap as he rolled across the floor to shrug off the impact.

He was coming. The poor souls on top would just have to not die if they hoped to receive his aid.

He would watch as one man stuck at the feet of the beast, while one of his allies shoved another man off the cliff to his death. It was going to be hectic to gain control of the situation. He needed a weapon, or rope, or anything really. he was already regretting coming so under prepared and now he stood unarmed. He would surely have a swift death unless someone could aid him in his capture. Perhaps even offer part of the fee Yama would give him for taking down the beast.

That's al he was instructed to do. Take down the beast without killing, and another team would collect the body.

All he needed was help.

He could feel the sharp pain at his feet, but it was nothing compared to what he was ready to do. He could handle that man in a moment, he had gotten his attention.

Sen Kuul Than was ready to flatten the haired haired man, but instead turned his attention to the parasite at his feet. He would press against the ground and take a short leap into the air. He would land and slam into the ground, shaking the earth at all of the mortal's feet.

He was sure to knock many off balance, but he was aiming to squash the tiny pest. After that man was crushed, he would pick off one by one, making this whole situation a game for him to play.

"FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLSSSS!!" he would call out, mocking them. They would all fail and die, for it was their fate.

There was only so much he could do with the beast on his rampage. As he would jump into the air, he would quickly make his way from the area of conflict. He needed time to devise a plan. He was foolish, but not stupid enough to get himself killed.

As he would get away, the ground would begin to shake. He was much too used to shockwaves of his own weapon, so regaining his balance was an easy feat. But when it had settled, he would run back at the monster and leap and use his axe to plunge into the foot of the monster. The hammer would follow behind, digging the tool in deep. He figured if he could be an annoyance for a while, perhaps he would climb to get to the beasts head to end this once and for all.

Kenpachi was weak, but not unwise to combat. If they could find anything, even a twig, it would make a difference. The only plan he had was to climb and mount the monster and go for his vitals and try to hit close to home. It would be bloody to say the least, but he was running out of options. . .

Randous felt nothing for the unfortunate soul who found himself plunged off the cliff side. Fool shouldn't have come unprepared. The Mercenary continued his sprint through the stairs though he still had many a way to go.

Only another quarter of the total stairs left to travel before he reached the top, with his grenade launcher in hand. Randous felt however the mighty vibration of the Titan's leap and smash down to the very stairs themselves. Though he caused none of the rock to crumble and fall into him - it still caused him to lose his balance and break his run. Landing with a thud the armored warrior fell forward onto one of the stairs.

He was so close. But he still had just a little more to go.

[Next post he will officially be in position. Sorry for the fuck up in taking so long.]

The bounty was all he could offer to anyone, should he succeed. He knew Kenpachi would stop at nothing to ensure it goes to their plan, but the more he thought about the fallen man, the more he grew uneasy. Something wasn't right about this beast, and something wasn't right about these gods. He would have to protect the beast from catastrophic harm, but even so, he needed to work with the others to take it down. Perhaps he could persuade them to accept payment to aid him, rather than their own needs.

He would nod with agreement with his ally. As he turned to look for tools, he spotted a man armed to the teeth. "He looks of a man for hire." he thought to himself, "Would he help us in our time of need?"

"FOOOOOOLLLLLS!!" he called out, roaring aloud. The village under the mountain would shake with his tone. The ground would be forever unstable as he continued. They were all pestering him, and he had taken note of who had friends. He needed to prioritize targets. He could count four living humans below him.

It was the man on the stairs that captured his gaze. He saw a white haired man make his way towards him. If he could squash the man, then all aid would seize and he could kill them all with ease.

As the man dug his weapon into his foot once more, Sen Kuul Than would stomp at the ground to shake his tool. He would begin to rush forward at the men to destroy the steps, the only real means of anyone getting to them. The rest would have to scale the large faces, or make through the ruins. It was his chance to end it.

He would take both his hands and slam it at the ground between the men. He had planned to kill all of them, but first, he wanted to have fun,

Shane looked out over the landscape, green eyes scanning what had become a battleground. On a hill some distance away from the whole thing, he had taken much longer to arrive than he would have liked. Whatever this beast was, it had to be stopped. He was prepared to use any means necessary, even allowing his demonic form free reign. He prepared himself to move, so that he could help with this massive Beast. He began running, preparing himself to use his nature stone to tangle the beast up and potentially buy some time. His black hair blowing behind him, he started getting as close as he could, as fast as he could.

He had to make a choice. And what he chose was not what he wanted. . .

He gripped onto his weapon as the beast leaped and moved. He would be thrown away a great deal. If he could, he would have held onto the beast and climbed up. But for now, he would have to close the gap again and regroup. People would begin to show up and appear, his plans changing. He didn't know whose side anyone was on except for his own. His job was to slay the beast at all costs. he could not compromise anyone's safety. He had to protect his city.

So he lay there, his weapons in hand as he stared into the sky. His back thrown into a tree. The pain endurable, but painful. For now, he would rest.

Watching the chaos unfold, his gaze fell onto the masked man once more. As he watched him be thrown, he chased after. He was sure to be knocked out, if not killed. He would take up his weapon and take down the beast alive. and soon after, kill the rest.

The question was to slay the man when he did so, or to leave him for dead.

Anyone in his way, anyone who opposed him, he would slay.

Randous could not even contain himself as his eyes met the beast. He was but a few steps away, and now he could fully see the monster in view from its side. Adrenaline pumped as the fear set in, Randous desperately clutching his grenade launcher as the monster roared with a tremendous presence of wrath across the cliffside. He was finally here, and now he wished he wasn't. Crawling over as the armored man began to aim his weapon - the beast turned its head right toward him. It's gaze was full of anger, and it frightened the man so. His eyes also briefly spotted the man coming toward him, probably hoping to seek his help. If this man got in his way- Randous would kill him as well in the crossfire. This thing was his priority. Anubis promised him a reward, and surely that reward would be coin.

Ignoring the man as the beast began its charge toward them - Randous aimed his weapon upward and fired from his crouched position. A single projectile fired from the gun - it's curved trajectory aiming to descend into the beasts' large head exploding upon impact in a burst of contained fire. This would surely hurt. Assuming the explosion halted his charge Randous would stop and begin to get up. He needed to be on his feet for this. If it didn't stop his charge then well he hoped either someone attacked this damn thing and drew its attention or that his armor was as sturdy as he hoped it was...No healing factor could really save him from what this thing was about to do to him after all.

(Fired one shot from Hotspot. 0/1 Shots prepared. 3/4 shots remaining in the gun.)

In a moment, he would watch the man fire without regard. The large grenade would shoot from his gun into the sky and towards the beast. Valiance would be astounded and as such, with great admiration and focus on the wrong thing, would trip and land face first into the ground.

"The reward-" he would begun to speak loudly before his words switched to "Ahhhh!" as he slammed his nose into the ground. He knew very well the differences between the gods as well as the rewards given. As a royal knight, it was his job to keep note of the general topics in the land.

But for today, he was just another runaway trying to get back on his feet. His knowledge would help no one today.
