"Cordelia
The short of it is her name is Ellora, and she is a Water Genasi Treasure Hunter, in hearing about a strange tomb, she came to investigate and see what valuables were left inside.
She mostly only found old jewelry and old clothing, most of it too weathered to fetch a decent coin, but still looked rather nice.
As far as you know, it was your family's tomb, or someone's family. When she uncovered, or opened your coffin/sarco you awoke, taking your first breath. She caught you, and immediately tried to help you, but seeing that some of her abilties weren't working quite the same with you, came to the conclusion you were different... and probably undead. With little to no memory beyond how your memories make you feel, with no real visual to go of of, its hard to place how long you've been dead. Though, from her you'd learn its been at least half a decade, based on the information she had been gathering to get to where you were.
With a bit of background as a sort of make up artist, rather than seeing you as a monster took the time to make you look a bit presentable.
Wiether or not you stayed with her for a while or immediately went on your way is up to you, but the hunger for ... well sweets would def be a forfront thought.
In Life:
Born Sylvia Ra'Anriel, she had lived a comfortable life, the youngest of three sisters, she had little pressure to achieve anything in life, simply having the time to do as she pleased. However, when she became of age, she eventually was set in an arranged marriage. While she had no pressures from her parents growing up, she felt as if it was something she should have done for her family, putting honor before her own desires. She would eventually marry a man named Dyriax Rosebane. She would find herself in an even more lavish lifestyle, and with servants to match.
However, this marriage was short lived and soon the man she had just begun to develop feelings for, had fallen in combat. While the promise of children and a future was now something she looked forward to, it wasn't so much as sorrow for mourning Dyriax, but the life she had started to imagine. She would replace the void left behind, falling in love with one of her many servants, Axilmeus. He wasn't so much as obedient or greatly handsome to be her pick, but had been more than just a paid hand. He had looked to comfort her in her, well, supposed time of need, and sought to make her happy above all else, and not just because he was paid to do so.
The two of them would eventually marry, causing quite an uproar in their community. But like her first husband, he too would eventually pass, though do to an illness, a few years after they had both of their daughters, Cordelia and Lilia. With his death, a great sorrow filled her heart, and eventually she would die to the grief over her soul, leaving her children to be cared by Axilmeus's sister, Mia. A practicing alchemist, and the teacher to the girl's magical prowess, they would fast learn magic, and around the age of 9 and 7, would attempt to bring their mother back from the dead.
Cordelia being the younger of the two and gifted with her mother's magical affinity, she honed her magic and focused on the resting place of her mother within the family tomb. However, Lilia, was not so gifted, relying on magics and potions to greatly increase her output and knowledge. With the combined intelligence and power between them, they would return their mother's soul to her body... but too, would bind their own to her.
The magic would go wild with no host to control it, a necrotic fire blazing and scorching the tomb, and sealing the coffin deep within, waiting to be awoken. The bodies of the young girls seared to a crisp, leaving almost nothing left...

Oasis among the sand
A symbol of hope
Among a dessert land
They wait for a hero
Ash and black powder,
Weapons of war
Destruction they would bring
They travel far.
Leaving behind
The lives they once had
It is just memories
Forever in their past
Forest Father comes
Saves the children
Takes them to a place
Given a blank slate
Let him guide your soul
A new life of peace
But you must
Go alone
Father's forest grows
His roots overgrown
Leaves slowly wither
As souls find their own
Bears a curseseal mark inflicted by a sorcerer that also cursed a hero from long ago.Aenor Mander
"Dragonslayer" was a title given to the strongest Dragonborn to survive the exodus from their homeworld to Irth (the realm/planet) He had led the resistance, rebellion and fight against their dragon masters. He was a tale of strength passed down from parent to child over generation, the story getting a bit of flare from each oral retelling, but his feats remained the same.
Some stories tell of Tiamat having 7 heads, and he had removed two of them.
Some say he had sliced the wings off so many dragons, leading into what was known as Wyrms today.
They say the mark he bore was a grievous wound inflicted upon him by the dragons, and would be the only real injury he would ever receive.
The sound of the thunder was said to be the cry of storm dragons that would face him in battle
You however know, this mark was not inflicted by a dragon, but my a sorcerer. It was believed it was a cursed seal, silencing his magical abilities, in an effort to weaken this hero. But, his strength alone was all he needed. Not much is known if its a curse, or a seal or both, or how to remove it or why it is passed on. Sometimes it disappears and skips a few generations.
