Usage: Conjuration, specifically of weapons and armor
Description: Viral was part of an experiment to create beast-human hybrid soldiers, and his unique magical power is a major claim to that title. Beast Blade Projection Arts is Viral’s ability to not only create weapons and armor out of magic, but to create near-exact duplicates of existing weapons and armor. Viral can create duplicates of any weapon or armor he has wielded before, as well as ones that exist only in his mind; as somebody with comprehensive training in almost every type of weapon imaginable, he is well suited to his power.

When Viral copies a weapon or armor, it is treated one rank lower than the original; a copy of a Strong Weapon will be treated as a Weak Weapon, for example. Weak Weapon copies are still treated as Weak Weapons, however. Abilities and such are downgraded accordingly. He cannot copy weapons that deal damage higher than his own rank, or armors that protect from more than 3x his rank in damage.
Abilities:
Projection Ammo: At any time, Viral can spend 5% of his mana to refill a currently held ranged weapon with its corresponding ammo type. The amount restored is shown in the chart below:

Forgemaster: Viral’s unique magic gives him a unique insight into the make of weapons and armor. He can tell the rank of any weapon or armor at a glance, and can gain information on any enchantments by touching them. The weapon ranks he can analyze corresponding to his normal ranks are as follows:

Analysis Rank Requirement Chart:

Bladebane: Viral’s analytical abilities also grant him the ability to better protect himself against enemy weapons. Any damage done to him via an item is reduced by 10%.

If Viral scores a direct hit on anything with the cleaver’s blade or uses it to block, it explodes into a shower of magical energy, dealing D-Rank damage to whatever it collided with.

- While in cleaver form, it is considered a physical object, allowing it to bypass magic-deflecting barriers.

It's not quite adding up...

It's not quite adding up...

The idea is that, when in cleaver form, it is basically treated as your everyday physical object. Not magical at all. When it collides with another physical object, however, the bonds are released and it reverts back to its original, pure energy form.

First, you need an origin before I can go on.

Second, so you're making a non-magical item with a magical ability. Which makes it magical, no matter how you look at it. Meaning if it slipped through a barrier (Excluding giant earth walls and so forth), it does no more damage than a normal item.

10*, 15 is too much... unless you want to make a graph.
And telling the rank is all fine and dandy... but there's no way you'll find out anything of Legendary or above...
