Being one of the richest families in the world, the Mido family had started as a family of wealthy merchants. Passed down form generation to generation, the responsibilities of keeping up such a business were put onto the shoulders of the eldest son. Of course, no one knows exactly what they were selling. Except for those in the family trade. The family trade? You might ask. Slaves.
It wasn't until Benjamin, the eldest son at the time, decided that enough was enough. As the burden was passed onto his shoulders, he gave the business to his younger brother. He had met a women, Layla, and wanted to spend the rest of his life with this nice, proper young women. Luckly, Layla was one of the wealthiest daughters, and the family was pleased to marry her to someone of the Mido family.
400 years ago, Benjamin and his wife, Layla, settled down in urban city. Bartering with a small amount of money, and with some slaved which were unknown to Layla. The family built a mansion, and to make sure they kept it going, began to pay an abnormal amount of money to The Agency. Through out the whole process, Layla stayed blind to the wickedness going on underneath her own nose, even after she was blessed with a baby girl.
They named her Lilinette Quinzel Mido. This child grew up in the lap of luxury, and in her fathers footsteps of cruelty and intelligence. Showing signs of great intellect by the age of five, she was home school by the worlds finest teachers. Making sure that she was getting a good enough education, she was on university level teachings by the age of 11.
Her life, up until the age of 13, was quite uneventful. A fairly anti-social young lady, she was not allowed outside of her own house. That is, by her parents stance.
At 13 years old Lilinette snuck out due to curiosity. She wanted to see just what the fuss was all about. The outside world couldn't have been as bad as her parents said it was. But she was wrong, it was worse. On her way back home she was stopped by a gang of three men, three men who hated the Mido family. Children of former slaves they were. And they took Lilinette. Brutally abusing her, and leaving her defenseless in an ally way by cutting off her legs and arm.
She then laid there, looking up at the sky. The first and only time she ever cried was this moment. Her body numbing out from shock and the quick, sweet release of death, that is, until the shadows began to shake around her. Her sea blue eyes began to turn blood red as the darkness began to consume the tips of her missing limbs. Then, it all went to black.
Waking up in the middle of the ally, she saw that the moon was still high in the sky. She had only been out for a few hours, and looking down, her eyes only widened. The limbs she thought to have been cut off were now fully crown. She thought it must have been a dream, bu the tears in her dress and sleeve begged to differ.
It took her a few minutes to readjust to her limbs. They felt... funny. Not laughter funny, but weird funny. Something was off about them. Never mind the scars around separating them from her body, her the light purple tint. But the feel of them was off putting. Nevertheless, Lilinette shrugged it off, and slowly walked back home. The memories of the night still haunting her to this day.
When she arrived home, she looked in shock. Blood covered the floor and the three men stood over the bodies of her two parents. Horrified, the men looked at her. Asking who the hell she was, confused because they knew that they had already killed the Mido families daughter.
Lilinette took this opportunity of their confusion and used it to bash in one of their skulls. The other two men looked at her, blood spewing from their brothers skull and showering over the floor.
By the time the sun came up, all three of the men were temporarily dead. Lilinette wasn't ready for them to die just yet though, oh no. Keeping the corpses in the basement, Lilinette studied alchemy. Learning the ability to turn man into an elemental slave, a golem none the less.
Through her research, she realized that she was born with the ability to make golems. The ability which was currently sustaining her own body right now thanks to the shadows flowing through her veins.
But alas, by the time she was able to create a golem, the bodies were already spoiled. A pity? yes. She berried her parents bodies and burned the corpses of their murderers.
