The sun shone bright. The alarm clock beside his bed could have sworn it rang for the 98th time. But Gray wasn’t waking up. The clock itself felt like kicking Gray right on the face so he could wake up, but too bad, it was inanimate, and could not move if no force is applied on it. It kept ringing, however, and somehow its constant vibration had caused it to move to the edge of the short drawer that was beside Gray’s bed.
THUMP! “Gah!”
Gray opened his eyes instantly, shifting his body pose into a sit on the bed, one hand on the forehead. “Ouch…” The clock had made a jump off the drawer and fell on his forehead, the impact hurting enough to wake the lazy man up.
Gray looked at the clock, stopping its alarm after. He froze. A comical sweatdrop formed on his head.
“Crap.” He was late for today’s job.
