Hot, Hot, Heat(Closed)

It continued to dance in the wind. The bandages wrapped around the man's figure, his face, his entire body. It didn't seem normal, and if seen would not be easily forgettable. He held onto his favored weapon as he sat on the roof of a half destroyed apartment building. There was no reason for him to seen the damage done by the old war, but he wanted to revisit the world, just for nostalgia's sake.

"So this is what I missed." he said to himself. Only half of the building stood tall, the rooms were all exposed. What was a former building was now half standing and half rubble. He begun to swing his foot ever slightly in the humid air. He could feel the stench of the burning flesh begin to rot away with each second. He could taste the heat of the forgotten city, the flames of forbidden magic possibly still burning bright under the destroyed city.

"I guess either I'm the greatest villain that ever lived, or the worst one to die." he said to himself. He was going to unite Fiore under a single banner. He called it Dragon Fang. They practiced day and night to fight a great evil. They were prepared, legal and dark guilds, to push aside their differences to fight this threat. It's just no one knew that threat would be Kaseki, not even Kaseki himself.

He smiled, looking at the wandering souls navigate the ruins. He could see how they were not free, but in mindless actions were content. Even in death they would be at peace. But even so . . . one soul did not fit in his newly painted landscape. . .

He would hold out his weapon, pointing it at some figure below. It seemed to have a brain, calculating thoughts and movement as he wandered about. He avoiding the walking dead, so he was either smart, or very lucky. . . or didn't like zombies. With a smile, Kaseki decided to take matters in his own hands. With the power of a whole realm at his fingertips, he could change the world as he pleased. But rather than torturing the poor man, he wished simply to get his attention.

His left hand would meet the one that held the blade, only to change shape. He would smile as he spat out a few balls of water, only for them to bond and merge with each other. The ten balls of water forming into a massive wave as it descended from several dozen stories to the ground. The water would begin to disperse and fall apart with heat and power, eventually creating a cool misty rain as he fell to the ground below.

The wave would begin to turn into a continuous rain that poured from a nonexistent cloud. Kaseki sat there, amused, watching the hot day slowly change to a nice sunny day. And his weather influence keeping the deceased away from the man. After all, he was beginning to flood the streets the man was not on.

"Nice day, isn't it?" he would say aloud. His would would not reach the man, but the sound would. He would know that there was someone else in this world, and it was his choice what to do after knowing that fact.

Description: The user kneads chakra, and converts it into water, and then spits it out in the form of condensed balls. The high-speed water ball attack possesses just as much power to kill as an actual gunshot. While this is a water release technique, it can still be employed someplace where no water is available, which is a great advantage. It is also possible to increase the power of destruction of the spheres themselves by building up the chakra inside of them. The number of bullets is determined while kneading chakra. By taking advantage of gravity, the bullets can brutally increase in power.
Strengths:
- Max of 5 bullets, all dealing D-rank damage
- Can shoot 10 bullets, at x3 C-rank cost

Name: Waterfall Basin Technique

Description:  This is a technique which creates a waterfall by developing spring water in a place without water veins and manipulating the resulting water current to form a wave. This is a very convenient technique as it can be used for training or relaxation. On the other hand, because it changes the environment on a large scale, it also has the effect of hiding one's location from the enemy by confusing them. The width of the water source, waterfall, and basin can be expended, as long as the user continues to send chakra in.

- Largescale
- Only needs a little bit of water to use (Liter)
Weaknesses:
- This does not create water, but relies on the environment
- Deals no damage
- Can be eaten by a slayer... all of it

He would lean forward, filling his body with no restraints, his mind free. He couldn't help but smile as his body fell from the building, as if a man carelessly gave away his life to the god of death. With his weapon in hand, he would grip his weapon, acting purely on instinct.

He would begin to twirl his sword only to have it grow in size, turning into a staff. The end of the stick growing ever long, as if a pillar to the world below. It would pierce the ground and Kaseki would hold onto his tool as he carelessly slid down to safety. It was a simple trick for him to preform, something he learned long ago when he decided to wander the old realms.

The staff would return to the shape of his sword when he safely reached the ground, only to face the man. The rain now a cool mist, the bandaged man stood with his weapon in hand. He was a new person, a new being. No one would recognize him without his long black cloak. But even so, he wanted to see the world.

"Nice day, isn't it?" he would say as gave a sinister smile, only to have it hidden behind a mask of cloth.

He couldn't help but smile as he held his unsheathed weapon. This man seemed truly mad, or completely on edge if he could talk like that to someone with their weapon already revealed. Kaseki would begin to press the flat side of his sword against his leg, the tip resting on the ground, leaning on the weapon like a crutch or cane.

"Fascinating how things just change." He would say, "Only if changing your destiny was just as simple."

He begun to analyze the man, wondering if they had crossed paths before. Perhaps he was from the Old Fiore. Those days were in the past, but Kaseki had to keep everything from reach if that were the case. No matter what universe, he was infamous for all of the wrong reasons. And if they really did know what Kaseki meant in this world, they he would be equally as stuck in a pickle.

He couldn't help but give off a sigh as he took it all in. His waves were gone, and the broken cemented streets dampened and wet. This place was in the center of odd happenstances. Kaseki was only one of them.

But even so, he wanted to know what brought this stranger to this place, and more so his own personal realm. Maybe he knew something that he didn't.

"What if I told you only the summary was written, but the content and how it ends is up to you?" He asked a simple question, something to amuse himself in a time like this. They were in a ruined city that was ground zero for a war of mages fighting for peace. . . at least that's how it was recorded. Kaseki knew they all fought over the same ideals, but were too blind to see that they were all on the same side. The day he left that world, was the day the fights began, growing increasingly more violent each day until the war ended Magnolia as it was now.

Kaseki wasn't so much as smart, but over the long years of life had picked up extensive life experience. Destiny was an excuse for man to give up on dreams and goals by saying some other power decided what their life purpose was. Kaseki was not one to blindly follow orders, and more often than not, gave people a chance to change the world, however slight. Perhaps this was one of those moments.

"But perhaps destiny brought you to this wasteland to fulfill a purpose." the man spoke, "Unless you really believe you wanted to come to a city of zombies for fun."

"Then you have another question to answer." Kaseki stood there, the mist slowly fading away into nothing. It was no longer cool, but the water had cooled the air immensely. There was many quick and sudden changes in the temperature and weather in just the last few moments.

Kaseki's sword would begin to slowly change as he put more weight on it. The tip of the blade turning round like the staff it was just moments ago, but the hilt of the blade grew out in length in not just one, but two places. It seemed to continue to change shape as the conversation continued. "The way I see it," the bandaged man spoke, "either destiny brought you here to me, or brought me to you. For every action there is a reaction."

He paused, the weapon growing as tall as the man. It was a scythe now, and he held onto the staff of the tool as he continued to hold onto it. "The question is, is coming here an action, or reaction?"

Did the man choose to come here, or did something else bring him here?

With the butt of the scythe dug into the moist ground in front of him, he leaned a bit forward, still resting on the weapon, just in a different manner. He knew the conversation was one sided, giving him the position of advantage to ask questions and gain information. But perhaps it was time to give a bit of information for putting up with such a stale conversation.

"Perhaps destiny brought you here to find a Starfall." Kaseki would say, "Destiny works in mysterious ways."

Kaseki didn't know for sure where the Starfalls were. Their being was out of his reach. He could only understand the lives they once lived. He knew how some came to be, but he could not for the sake of him, understand how and why it happened. Sure, it could be a similar cycle of death and rebirth as Nameless undergoes, but he had no sure evidence. He could only take bits and pieces and eventually have the full story. After all, he is one of the few that cannot have his wish granted by a Starfall. After all, he is the Guardian of Pandora. He's not allowed to meddle in the work of the other deities and Guardians, at least, not without permission.

"Well now this looks like it'll be a waste of my time." Kaseki thought to himself. While talking to the man did fill in time he had to spend, he could only wonder what else he could have done instead. There had to be something worth the trip.

"Well I'm done enough talking and questions. I believe it would be only fair to allow you to question of me in the same way." He spoke, wondering what would first find its way to the man's lips. What did he find of utmost importance of the situation? With endless choices could he be overwhelmed? Perhaps he had found his role in Pandora without fully knowing it. Kaseki only wished to know for his own personal amusement, though he would be more content knowing that each mortal was well off in this world. And seeing as he could not recognize the man would only mean he was not a Soul yet.

But who was to say.

"Heh. . . Hehe. . .. hehehehe. . . " He laughed. He expected a question like that. People where only so calm around a stranger, and with his display of power, he must have been completely on edge, even until this moment. Kaseki continued to laugh. He lifted his left hand to his face, his forefinger sliding down the side of his face, from his left eye to his chin, only getting caught on a single bandage. It would begin to stretch, unravel, and reveal the fangs of the man. It was comparable to a wolf, a canine, or a shark. Long jagged teeth of a monstrous creature.

"Me? Ohoho." He laughed, "I'm your worst nightmare." His eyes begun to glow, both of vibrant colors, one red, and one violet. His face seemed to be outlined from the fabric on his face as he stared at the man, almost looking through him. "I'm the difference between achieving your dreams and rotting in a hole where no one will find you." He continued to laugh, getting a bit louder with every chuckle, "I;m the one that owns the land under your feet. The one that sees everyone's single move. The one that chooses who lives and who dies." He stopped laughing to glare at the man, "I am the Guardian of Pandora. I am Kaseki."

He would bring his hands together, both of them meeting on the staff of the great scythe. He continued to stare at the man, he knew what lay on his mind. He knew that look in his eyes. he had seen it so many times before. He was going to enjoy himself for this moment. After all, he came here to solve his boredom to begin with.

His fingers would fold and bend. A smile on his face as he vanished in a flash. He would continue to laugh as he appeared behind the man, the blades of his weapons hanging over the back of the bandaged man, inches from the man's face. "Now, there's no reason to keep secrets." Kaseki said aloud. "Secrets are what divides a family. And since you're in my house now, you're pretty much my child at this point." his laughing stop, a stern look appearing on his face, something he could not see.

"Except I decide your fate while you are in this world. No matter where you are, I decide if you live or die. I can pit you against any foe, or can I give you any friend." his hands would grasp the handle, holding it in a more modest way, "Kyonshi insisted that he step out of Pandecim to save a man. And come to think of it, you look just like him." His head would turn a bit, enough for the man to feel the cold breath of the lifeless man in the wind. "I hope he didn't make the wrong choice."

Description: The Body Flicker Technique is a high-speed movement technique, allowing a ninja to move short to long distances at an almost untraceable speed. To an observer, it appears as if the user has teleported. A puff of smoke is occasionally used to disguise the user's movements. It is accomplished by using chakra to temporarily vitalize the body and move at extreme speeds. The amount of chakra required depends on the overall distance and elevation between the user and the intended destination. MP cost is halved if under 10 meters away. Max range is 20 Meters

- Able to create distance between caster and target

- Cannot attack while using it
- The new location may be more dangerous than before

"The flaw is in your question itself." Kaseki spoke, "The ground you stand on, is not from Fiore, but from me. The air you breath, is created from me. The light, the night, the rain and the heat, is from me. In this world, I am the world." He lifted the weapon up a bit, just to rest it on his shoulder, a bit further away from the man. "The weapon is the same material of me, my bandages were made from a creature just like me."

He paused, thinking about what he said. "I'm not going to give you bullshit that I am everything, yet nothing at all. Simply put, I am made of equal parts of all. I am equal halves demonic and angelic. I an equal living as I am dead. I am as night as I am day. I am as fire as I am water. I am Kaseki." he did hate the sound of his own voice, but if it answered the man's questions, then perhaps his people would be a bit more competent. And that alone would make a difference.

"You're in Pandora. You make your own destiny here." Kaseki would say. It wasn't a lie, nor was it the full truth. In this world, it had begun to anger deities that mortals referred to as "God." To think that all of the matters of the world were up to a single person was insane and ludicrous. Even Hades, the previous guardian had a dozen people to aid in guiding souls into the proper afterlife. But now, since the Starfall incident, Kaseki had more power than anyone had ever planned or imagined. He was only supposed to watch over the dead, not the living. But this was something he had done before.

"Make your dreams come true, anything is possible in Pandora." he said, thinking about his own goals so long ago. Since the dead were among the living, as well as those lost in limbo, Kaseki had to make a point to divide the two worlds. Pandora was the realm of the spirits and mortals. Wonderland was the realm of tortured souls, and Pandecim was the souls who were ready to pass on. It was all the way of life now. And even some gods were surprised how well Kaseki handled it all. "The question is," He went on, as if a never ending event, "Are you ready to take your fate into your own hands?"
