Attack on Fujima! [EVENT]

"Hmmm." He would lift his limbs to free the dying carcass of a man, only to watch the small girl give him a second chance. It figured. He was told not to take a life, though now it seemed as if he soon won't have a choice. He retracted his tentacles and stood them tall, ready to strike at the next fool who was dumb enough to challenge him. They would have to all attack in unison to even stand a chance against him. He would watch the death unfold below him. Surely it was something to entertain him for the time being. After all, his time of rest was long passed.

Alright, so this was the place.

Zinnia wasn't one to follow others orders. She had nearly gotten herself killed the last time she did that. But still, she find the possibility of power tantalizing. And Anubis offered her this power in a more concrete form than anything Tyron had offered her. The demon was merely a distraction in her question for a higher state of being. An interference that she had brought upon herself. But now she was bound to him.

Oh well, at least the bloke was competent in the arts of combat.

That had been the only good thing about her situation. While he annoyed the hell out of her, her companion was well versed in combat, as he had proven when they had found themselves in those ruins. Perhaps he could be of some assistance in taking down this next beast. A foe, no doubt, unlike any other creature she'd encountered before.

Gyuki was a foe to be feared indeed. After all, why else would the Gods themselves want these beasts dead? Surely, these unholy monsters had no place in their world. But then again, she had brought Tyron into it. But it wasn't Zinnia's place to question the morality of deciding another living creature's fate. That was her employer's job. She was simply the messenger of their disdain. If the god she served wanted the beast dead, the beast would be dead.

She began to hear the heavy breathing of a monster that was certainly not human, and it wasn't long before she peered through the ruins of the temples to see the gargantuan, octopus-like titan. It held a terrifying stature. Zinna watched it cautiously from where she had concealed herself. And judging from the commotion, it appeared she wasn't alone.

Several other men were there as well. A samurai looking fellow, a gruff, beast like man, and two men who looked to be dueling each other. And the monster seemed to just be.... observing almost. And not only that, but there was also a woman, who looked unconscious. Zinnia growled to herself. What a bunch of amateurs. Why were they all just amusing the monster? Couldn't they see they risked death if they continued to just duel amongst themselves?

Zinnia wouldn't be able to beat a creature like that by herself. But she also didn't trust a large majority of those she saw. She could hardly tell if any of them were even on her side, aside form the samurai, whom she vaguely recognized.

She would lay under the radar for now. Wait for an opportune time to strike. Those tentacles looked quite versatile, after all. If she got crushed by one of those, she'd certainly be done for.

Stay hidden, for now, behind the rubble and ruins of the palace. The beast was distracted. She'd find the right time to attack, and take it. And perhaps if she could get the samurai's attention along the way, that would offer her some nice backup....

Nanashi smirked at the broken weapon - looking at the ninja with a fierce look of pride as most of the blade came right off the handle to the side away from the fight. When the ninja motioned forward- Nanashi floated right above him and back to dodge both the juggernaut and the ninja. With two-on-one this was going to be tricky. "Are you so set on this that you're willing to die?" he said with a raised eyebrow. "There are plenty of bounties in this realm to claim for your gods. Go after them and leave this place. Live to fight another day," he advised.

This was so stupid to him. "I'd prefer not to have to murder four people today," he said with a sigh.

It was his chance.

He knew of the bounty on his head. It wasn't worth killing a tailed beast. He'd have to bring a lesser titan, or perhaps something else for Yama. All he needed was one more success and he could retire. He needed to pick his last mission carefully. This wasn't his day. His weapon was lost, but not his life.

For now, he didn't care about the beast, He was ready to go home . . . but then he saw her face. he noticed her there. And all at once he processed who she was. All it would take was one wish, and his life would be changed.

And so he ran away from the man and straight towards the girl.

It was his last chance.

Ronin felt himself crushed and risen again, the soft words of an Angel-like being whispering in his ear. Giving him courage. Giving him strength. In his broken armor he wobbled up to his feet, pieces of plate armor falling off of his body revealing the scar torn tissue underneath. He would not fail. He would keep fighting! He turned around wielding his sword in his hand and rushed to intercept the Ninja. He lunged his sword hoping to pierce the man's throat.

He wouldn't let him have the woman. Not while he still drew breath.

As fate would have it, the man would hover above where he stood formerly. It had to be a chance of plans. He needed a new approach.

He would slide on the ground, like a runner on a baseball field trying to touch base. His feet would hit the ground before him, tossing up the dirt before him.  It would be enough to mask him, but not hide his presence. His wrists would meet again as his palms faced upwards towards the man. A beam would be cast out in an instant to engulf the man. As he floated above taking in the force, he would stop his slide in the dirt to stand up and leap towards the floating man. All he needed to do was grab hold of something...

Even his foot, and he would slam the man into the ground.

Nanashi was surprised to be sure. This beast was quick on the uptake. Just how powerful was he? What was this golden glow he showed and the red that followed after? These were the things he wondered before the light hit. It happened so fast he wasn't able to process it. He just felt it explode onto his body - knocking him back somewhat. Nanashi felt a slight tinge of fear. That attack had hurt. Normally he'd have been able to warp away such things or dodge. How had that hit him? What ability even was that?

As the bulky man grabbed hold of his foot - so quickly did he lose it as Nanashi once again seemed like a ghost. A black cloud left where his body had been. Concentrating the Wanderer jumped through dimensions for a brief instance as the cold shadow dimension coursed through him. His body felt horrid as he briefly jumped through dimensions, but the strain of it was still better than letting himself be taken by that ogre of a man. Nanashi appeared five meters forward - the two warriors now having their backs turned against each other. Nanashi then turned around to face his attacker, ready to react once more as he would likely land and leap once more at him.

He hoped the man would be so foolish...

It seemed as if his point was being made. He would destroy the man, if not kill him. He didn't care for the beast anymore, he wanted to avenge his friend. He would not let anyone take that from him.

His time was limited. He knew that he could let off one more Kameha before he would be returned to normal. At that time he would beat the man into the ground with his fists.

"WORM!!" he would yell as his right fist would hook around towards the man. He would aim for nothing more than his face. His right knee would quickly follow up, if the fist landed or not.

Friendship was a crazy thing.

Especially when you owe your life to them.

Ronin was silent as his sword ran itself through the fat man's throat. He felt his life force solidify - no longer draining with each second as he killed the man in cold blood. He said nothing as the corpse fell to the ground. Removing his sword and swiping away the blood from it - he knew his next target was to be the man who had made his armor and blade. He was grateful for the wanderer's smithing skills - but he knew it was high time that he stop his foolishness.

Speaking for the first time in ages - Ronin called to the red beast with a warrior's call. "Kill him so that we may claim the beast!"

HP Solidified at 20%.

What in the name of Anubis were they doing? They were all just fighting among themselves, while the monster, the great Gyuki, absently watched them, seeming placid and almost in a state of indifference. The thing didn't even seem to really care about the carnage. She had absolutely no idea what was going on, or what had caused this chaos in the first place, but she certainly wasn't going to get herself overwhelmed in all this. To dive into that mess headfirst would simply be suicide.

Not to mention the two others she thought she recognized from the call Anubis had sent out. Perhaps even three? When she took a closer look, it seemed that there was one man whom she recognized, the man she'd watched decapitate the other, and who was determined in fighting off the ninja, for whatever reason. But what made matters more confusing was that he seemed to be in conflict with members from their own faction? She winced. A traitor? It wasn't the wolf's business whether the man had diverged or not, nor did she care, but honestly, why now?

Her tail would tuck slightly beneath her legs, her ears lowered, as she held herself close to the ground, hidden carefully behind a small piece of rubble, looking like it had belonged to a former wall for the ruins that lay behind her. Even without her enhanced senses, she could smell the blood from here. It would become carnage, especially after she witnessed that blast the monkey man had shot from within his swallowed up shelter of dust.

And that was to say nothing of the girl. Having not been witness to her entrance in a blazing fire of glory, Zinnia was not aware of who the girl was, or how she had gotten there. One thing was for certain, she was unconscious, or god forbid dead. Zinnia's heart twisted a bit when she noticed the ninja suddenly make a beeline for the girl, followed by the samurai, who's sword was aimed at the ninja's throat. Whatever the reason the girl was on the battlefield, she would die if she was left out there much longer....

But Zinnia couldn't focus on such things. Her heart was beating as it was. And she certainly couldn't charge out there! She'd get herself killed. No way did she trust any of the maniacs out there killing each other. She would need to find a way around this. But how could she take down a monster like Gyuki all on her own? One would think it impossible....

It was obvious from the man's speech that he intended to protect Gyuki at all costs. So obviously he wasn't on Anubis' side anymore. And Zinnia couldn't really tell what the goals of the saiyan were. But the way the samurai spoke was promising. Once he had killed the ninja, he called to the red man, ordering him to kill the one who stood in their way. Zinnia was given a bit of hope. Perhaps she had allies on this battlefield after all.

Judging by the way the three acted, it didn't seem like they had noticed her yet. She had sealed herself by one of the buildings on the outskirts of the battlefield. She'd need to think of a strategy. She watched as the monkey man seemed to phase through the other, as if he were a phantom. He then disappeared, reappearing roughly 5 meters away.

Fascinating.

This man stood in the way of her ultimate goal. If she helped to destroy him, she knew she would have at least one other ally on her side. Her eyes bore into the men who fought, the way he quickly spun around, prepared for the next move of the monkey.

Now was her chance.

The she-wolf quickly rushed towards the man, maneuvering herself so she would be running towards his back while he was distracted by the impending danger of the nearing monkey man, and charged, watching him with intense focus. She also paid careful attention to where Westseid was. She didn't want to miss her target and end up taking a blow from one of his miss directed attacks, after all.

When she got within five meters of him, she suddenly twisted her body, sending a sharp blade of wind aimed at Nanashi's back. But she didn't stop running. Instead, she would circle around him, keeping a distance of 5 meters, where she'd circle around him, preparing to jump and bite should the opportunity arise. She used her speed boost to allow this extra speed to circle him once more.

They have a slight, greenish hint, and are more wolf-like in shape. They are also a bit more worn from years of use, and are a bit light in color.
Strengths:
-They are stained with poison, as the name suggests, and can cause serious damage if they touch you, and even more serious damage if it gets in your blood stream.
-The poison is a neurotoxin, so it effects the nerves and the brain, causing hallucinations.
Weaknesses:
-The claws are only as strong as Zinnia's claws, if just a little sharper, so it cannot cut through anything, like, say, as hard as rock, or with very strong scales, or shells. Her claws are about strong enough to tear through human skin/animal skin and flesh.
-The claws are old, and, like anything made of iron, will rust if put underwater, and may even break.
-No range
-Hard to take on and off
Ability: As mentioned above, the claws are not only used for protection, but they are also incredibly dangerous. If they scratch someone, or touch someone, they can infect you. This poison can cause headaches and nausea. If scratched, and the poison actually enters the bloodstream, it can cause effects much worst, such as hallucinations. Other side effects have also been recorded.

He couldn't help but laugh at it all. They were fools to try and sort this among themselves. He would open his eyes to see the pitiful mortals. "This fighting is really quite tragic, whoever wins I'll teach you magic." He'd laugh. "So much death, my oh my. I'll teach who kills the samurai." He smiled, watching how they could be so easily shaped. He didn't really care for it. If he taught one mortal his magic, then perhaps they would leave him alone to sleep. He would have no reason to bother anyone anymore. He didn't care about the starfall, the killing, or the Saiyan. He jsut wanted to sleep.

Earlier in the topic wrote:Lame requip magic did nothing to stop his blade from cleaving the knight in two, all of his possessions becoming Nanashi's own including a strange coin. Nanashi learned in his travels that it was the coin of the turtle hermit, and now he was going to channel its power.

He could feel its power coursing through him - the knowledge of a new skill manifesting itself into him. The power of the Turtle Hermit now was his, and he'd use this knowledge to protect the Eight Tailed Bijuu.

Nanashi had learned the same skill that had been used on him only moments prior - and now that he had seen it firsthand: he was going to blast him back with just as much force. As the foolish Brute leapt up at him again - Nanashi's cupped hands fired a beam of energy that the behemoth had no way to dodge unless he could maneuver in mid-air like Nanashi or change his direction by some other means. A black beam of energy fired out. It wasn't as fast as the red man's - but then again it didn't need to be in Nanashi's eyes. The black beam would likely crash into the man and send him hurtling back against the ground. Nanashi chuckled - when suddenly he felt a slashing sensation against his back.

Nanashi growled with pain. Another had entered the ring. Another had challenged him to claim the Eight-Tailed Beast. This made the fourth or fifth enemy Nanashi would have or had to deal with depending on the Samurai's loyalties. Sufficed to say he was angry. "FEEL HELL'S WRATH!"  he shouted to the wolf who now encircled him. Suddenly she would feel herself enveloped by a thick burst of a poisonous aura - the Fifth Dimension's infernal energies draining them of their very life force. Her circling tactic would put her just within the radius of the poisonous energy - and her circling would also make her momentum hard to stop to get out of the way (though not impossible).

For her insolence she would feel the Fifth Dimension's fury for herself. And all of the hellish rebuke that came with it.

The force of the beam would crash into Aku, but his own stance would remain unchanged. The power would be enough to tear at his clothing, his skin being seared on the surface. It was unpleasant, it was painful, but it was something he was far too used to. He was a Saiyan, these attacks were common among his kind, and such, he would know how to take the least bit of damage from the tremendous force.

His hand would reach for the wrists of the man, and he would pull him close. His knee would aim for the man's chest. He was not going to go down without a fight. But as he was enjoying the bliss of his own battle, a foolish animal would get involved.

"HE'S MINE." he would exclaim to the puppy.

She would have to resort to saving her energy for these little moments. After even after two words, she felt dead and lifeless. The energy she was cursed with still running in her blood. Now all she could do was hope to make a change. She took a chance. Hopefully she would change it all. She would save the beast. Wish Power : C-Ranked

He was growing impatient, but they were all incompetent. He wanted so much to smite them all in a matter of seconds, but would not bring himself to it.
