Spelunking (Solo/Lilinette)

"when ever i come to Kanto its because I was asked to do good. What is wrong with the world." Lilinette let out a sigh as the sun was setting, and moon began to rise. The client asked for her not to come visit him until after she had taken care of the mission. Odds are, he heard that she was a child. Those appearances were very deceiving, and all though she tried to tell others that, but sometimes seeing her appearance to clients before the mission brought doubt into their eyes. And once that doubt struck, there was very little she could do to prevent it from taking hold.

She was currently nearing mount moon. The mountain she was supposed to do recon of. She was simply supposed to scout it out, and report to the client what she found.

Depending on just what she found, it could just make for a very interesting evening.

The cave entrance wasn't anything special. Honestly. It was just a hole in the side of a mountain. "This is going to be boring." Lilinette complained, Her umbrella over her head as she looked around, trying to find signs of anything interesting. "Nothing." She spoke, shaking her head in disappointment. "At least, nothing yet." She began to listen. She  was a great listening.

She closed her eyes, trying to ear any signs of movement.

She could hear tiny foot steps, nothing major, but nothing minor either. They weren't getting closer, but they weren't getting farther. Yet, they were still moving. "That's odd..." She began to speak, listening closer as she opened her eyes. "The only way for that so be possible is for something to be circling around me." Grinning, she took a few steps forward. the sound did not change, and she clenched her fist and her grinning teeth.

"I see there might just be something here that wants to play..."

Getting closer to the sound, Lilinette began to be filled with disappointment. Along with having exceptionally good hearing, her eye site was on point. Both could work up to 10 meters further then  anyone else, and thanks to that, she was golden. Of course, that only meant that she figured out that there was nothing circuling her.

"What the hell was making that noise then..." She asked herself, frustrated that she had wasted her time. "I guess I need to look a little bit more..." Lilinette let out a sigh, and began to walk around. the noise still circling around her. She had no idea what it could be. But it didn't matter. Why should it? If she didn't see anything, she wouldn't have to tell the client anything.

"Its probably just some plumbing underneath the mountain..." She told herself. "Oh don't be stupid, there wouldn't be plumbing underneath the mountain." She gripped her umbrella tight and walked up towards a cave wall.

"That's strange..."

Scratches marked up the gave wall. It was almost as if someone, or something, had bashed into it repeatedly. "What the hell is that." She spoke, putting her hand against it. "What ever it is, it is certainly odd." Letting out a deep breath, the girl turned back around. "Is that it?" Lilinette asked, "A few scratches on a wall? What a boring place. Why would anyone want to come here, let alone send someone to survey the place. It's dead. Nothing here but rock and rubble."

Shaking her head, she took a step forward. Then she realized what that sound was. Her foot sunk into the ground a little, and she quickly jerked it out. "A hole? In the floor of a rock made cave?" then she saw something come out of it, five somethings to be exact. She took a few steps back and watched as a group of five, electric spiders crawled out from the ground. 

"I guess i need to warn the client about these things, don't I?" She spoke, snapping her fingers, and watching as Laelops began to rise.

'Monster Dice' :

As the spiders charged towards Lilinette, a creature dug out from the ground. It was a dog, a man, a behemoth. A combination of all three. The spiders were just that though, spiders. Their tiny brains couldn't comprehend that this animal could kill them in a heart beat. 

And he did just that. Raising his leg, she crashed down upon the spiders. all five died instantly, shooting up tiny volts of electricity. She let out a laugh and turned back around. "Good thing Laelops is made of rock huh. Lightning won't hurt something made of rock." Sticking out her tongue, she turned back around. The cave was quiet now. the sounds of things passing beneath her had stopped, but she knew that this cave wasn't empty. 

"I wonder what else this little hole in the wall has residing in it?" She asked, looking at Laelops and snapping her fingers. "Roar."

'Monster Dice' :

Laelops opened his mouth, and a sound came out which echoed from wall to wall of the cave. As that sound died down, the ground began to shake. 4 metal like plants shot up from the ground, blocking all the possible pathways for Lilinette and Laelops t escape through. "well then, this should be easy to get out of." As her umbrella turned into a blade, she attempted to knock down the spikes, but something got in her way. 

It was almost as if a magnetic force was pulling her in, forcing her to fly back away from the plants. Digging her blade into the ground, she managed to stop the pull, but after turning around, she realized just what it was. It was what appeared to be a living gear. 

"Well, aren't you an interesting little fella," She spoke, Looking at Lealops. Her eyes widened, and she sighed with disappointment riddling her voice.

Six, little mole-like creatures were attacking Laelops. They appeared to have a problem with him, problably because he disturbed their nap. As the magnetic force began to pull Lilinette back in, she spoke. "Laelops, Feed!" She then lifted her sword out of the ground and flew back. She knew that if she got caught in the creatures gears, it was over for her. But she wouldn't do that. As she got within arms reach of the creature, she swung. Despite its metal body, it was no match for her blade. As she landed on the ground, the creature split in two, falling in two separate pieces. 

She then turned her head, eyeing Laelops. "Good boy," She spoke, walking up to him and patting him on the arm, looking down at the piles of blood and entrails he had left behind from his dinner. 

"Now," She spoke, raising her blade, "Time to get rid of these unwanted tendrils."

She charged forward, slamming her blade into the tendrils before her. They broke almost instantly, and Lilinette let out a laugh. "One down, three to go," She spoke, doing a complete 360 degree turn and slicing through all of them. 

She heard the sounds of metal hitting the floor and she let out a yawn. "Is that all this place has to offer?" She asked, stepping over them, and then standing still. She could tell that she was in the heart of the mountain. She closed her eyes, and concentrated. Hearing was a much better skill then listening, and focusing on just her listening meant that she could hear even greater then before. 

"Nothing new." She spoke, opening her eyes. "Odd... One would suspect more then just four species of flora and fauna. But I did not make the place." Looking around, she sighed. "I can understand it though, This place isn't very adaptable for a place to live."

Walking the same path she took on her way in, she didn't even bother to look around. Lealops was still with her, after all, she didn't want to get her hands dirty if any of those electric spiders came to attack her. Let alone get herself electrocuted. "Good boy Lealops," She spoke, nearing the cave exit and brushing away strands of hair from her face. "I think it's time we-"

Before the words even left her mouth, the ground began to shake. A tendril flew from the ground, blocking the caves exit, and the magnetic pull Lilinette was now familiar with began to start back up. She went flying back, but Laelops grabbed her hand. "Good boy." She spoke, straining as she let go of the blade. "Eat this metal mouth." 

The blade went flying back, slicing through the metal gear. "There we go," She spoke, landing back on the ground. It was then she heard a crunch, and felt a shock.

'Monster Dice' :

Looking down, she saw another horde of spiders. She clenched her fist, and looked at Laelops. "Kill them." She muttered, Taking a step back, and watching as Laelops lifted up a giant rock. "Now." The rock fell from his hands and slammed onto the tops of the electric spiders. Lilinette was pissed, very pissed. stepping around the rock, she watched as Lealops slammed his fist into the tendril. It shook, it shrank, it weakened. But it did not vanish. 

Lilinette lifted up her sword, and in one fatal swoop, she she slashed right through it. 

It hit the ground with a bang, and she exited the cave, turning her sword back into an umbrella and using it to block out the moon light. 

"Now, for the client." she spoke, walking out into the street, and towards the small city before her. Where her client was bound to be waiting for her.

The walk to the clients house was a long one. He lived on the far side of town, farther away from mount moon then any other citizen of pewter town. "I'm starting to see why he didn't check the place out himself." She told herself, Laelops back where he normally was. Digging underground, awaiting to be called upon again. 

Giving a sigh, she turned the corners, and walked the passages. She wasn't used to a town like this. It was small, almost like a village. She was used to cities like urban. Cities where anything could happen at any moment. This city? It was boring. At least to her. 

Walking up to the house, she placed her hand on her hip, and closed her umbrella, seeing the moon light as it gently hit her face. "I'm here." She spoke, walking up the steps, and standing in front of the door.

It took the client a few seconds to answer the door after she knocked. She could hear foot steps rushing up to the door, clumsily tripping over various items as he got to the door. 

"Hello there!" he spoke, opening the door. The man was scrawny, and looked at if he hadn't eaten in awhile. "H-hello." He spoke with a studder, "Are... are you Lilinette?" She sighed, "Yes, That is me. Don't go to mount moon." She spoke. As much as she liked torture, there was no point in telling this man to go to mount moon. She pitied him. He was week. He wouldn't last more then five minutes there. 

"It's not safe for commoners." She spoke, watching as the man handed her the reward. 

The man looked as if he was going to say something, probably give her his life story. But Lilinette didn't care. She was already walking to the train station.
