Spiked Trouble [C-B exam] [Private/Sly] [CANCELLED]

Prerequisites:
- Level 25 / 1000 EXP
- 75 Posts

Exam Information: An examination is usually a test of growth and improvement. Some teachers will go as far as sparring to test their student's strength. Other mentors will watch over their apprentice to see they have improved as a person. Whatever the case may be, the person taking the exam must undergo a change. This will vary from person to person. Some may be a simple as taking a journey into one's soul, while others may have to face a thousand ninja assassins. However, whoever is helping the participant in the thread, may increase difficulty. For a mentor of equal or greater class, the WC is unchanged. For a mentor who is a class below, the WC is doubled. For a mentor who is of the opposing alignment (based on organization relationships) the post count for the student is doubled.

Exam Requirements:
- 10 Post Minimum (Student)
- 5 Post Minimum (Mentor)
- 125 Word Minimum

Note: Mentors are someone of equal orhigher Class, and Organization leaders may always mentor the exam, or even give a task to the member in their place.

Cost to Skip Exam:
- 2,500,000 Coins

Additional Note: Organization leaders may skip this exam at the cost of 1,250,000 Coins, or with a thread of 7 posts, no mentor.

No magic here, nothing around her, just simple actions and an occasional fireball.

She glanced down to the note. Apparently this was the place that Sly had talked to her about, judging by the ruckus inside as well as the sheer noise. She rose her metallic arm, rubbing the back of her head. This was overly complicated in her opinion. With a small shrug, she lowered it and turned the doorknob, pushing the door inwards. Noises, the smell of food, the scent of alcohol, the sheer volume of the music and conversations as well as the cheering almost made Lexia reel there and then. Alcohol.

ALCOHOL.

What was Sly thinking?!

Swallowing hard, and controlling her emotions, she quickly found him behind the bar. Stepping through and using a hand to push the door shut, she swiftly walked towards him. A party. Her exam. Was a party? Surely this was a joke, right? Lexi stopped, swaying back a little as two people toppled over one another in front of her. Swallowing again she moved forward and cleared the distance towards Sly.

"Sly...? You... Said this was for... my exam?" Lexia asked, after he would turn and give her his attention. The shock and worry on her face was more then evident.

The evening had settled over Edolas, one of the places that was associated with De Fiore. Someone with a lot of money to his name wanted to host a party of some sorts here, and it was rather unfortunate that it turned out to be one of those with many people dancing to the DJ sitting in the front stage. The dancing arena was packed with a number of dancers, the heavy beating of music rippling through the walls and drumming into anyone's chest, as they moved almost in sync to it. Anyone could try and scream, but the loud techno that was blaring from the speakers would drown them out almost instantly. It did give him a lot of trouble, especially if he was here to serve as one of the mixers. Everyone had to lean really close to him and shout in his ear what they wanted to order.

Of course, there was a reason Sly wanted to be here. And at this specific time. This was where that predator would be lurking, looking for a woman or two to drug out and steal from the party. And it had been going on for a long time as well. For a number of years, whenever a party was being hosted in Edolas, this unknown man would show up and spike a woman's drink. Once drugged, he would take her away for who knows what. And he seemed to know when to throw them back out on the street, because none of them seemed to remember what happened. Only a couple of weeks later, they would find themselves pregnant and their life ruined. And to complicate things, he would only take one or two women to avoid suspicion from authorities. No matter how many warning signs that were plastered around in every party ever since, who would ever pay any heed to them after a few drinks?

Sly almost asked Lexia if she wanted anything to drink until he realised she finally showed up. The bar had been this busy. He nodded to her then beckoned her to lean closer, and lend an ear. I will make this brief. In this party, there is a predator, looking to spike a lady's drink. Find him without causing a ruckus here, and take his wallet. He then nodded, parting from her with a smile. One Citrus Sting coming up! He grabbed a Hurricane glass, hanging from the rack and started to mix several pieces of lemon, lime and a dash of a fizzy orange soda before serving it to Lex. He gave her a hand sign, that it is not alcoholic.

Rafael sat upon a bar stool, right next to a beautiful lass, chatting her up with a smile. He was tanned, with black hair tied to a ponytail, and a moustache. Rafael was also wearing a white coat, trying to be as plain as possible. In his peripheral, he saw another lass. A black haired girl talking with the bartender. Their conversation was... strangely long. But he quickly took no note of it when the girl before him laughed. In her hand, she was clutching a Martini with a spiral of orange peel. He only needed her to bring it a bit closer, before he could perform his sleight-of-hands trick...

Lexia's heart almost fell when she heard what Sly had said. She didn't like that at all. Acting as if everything was normal, she gave Sly a bit of an incline with her head. It wasn't . . . Exactly going to be an easy task, but nevertheless, a task that had to be done. "Thank you," She said, before subtly turning her side against the bar. Her metallic arm dropped, leaning against the bar as her smile light up her face. A few moments later, she was approached by someone. His hair was dark, skin pale, but at the same time, his eyes were blue. She almost smiled. Sorta like Sly. But in a way, he really, really wasn't.

When her drink was ready, she thanked Sly and continued her chat, rather thankful that Sly made sure as to not give her alcohol. Not again.

A few minutes passed by, and it turned out that the man was the one who organised the party. As it turned out, his partner of three years had been chatting up with a guy who he didn't really invite to the party. In fact, he had never met him in his life, and throughout this chat, his voice was quiet and low. But, Lexia being herself, managed to make a few laughs and grins throughout the conversation, something that would have been consistent with that of a normal party. After the few minutes chat, she excused herself, subtly watching and glancing to the pair that he had mention.

The partner was apparently rather worried...

Lexia slowly exhaled, watching as the lass excused herself from the conversation, going to leave for a few moments for some reason or another. The mans partner. Of course, she'd been waiting for the time, and had watched rather closely. The woman hadn't had another sip of her drink, it was still rather full as she'd been too engaged in the conversation. She steeled herself a little, and made her way over to him.

Although, Lexia had to admit, she was a rather sleazy looking man. How could anyone fall for someone like that? Her face showed a mix of boredom and interest, as well as a faint look of joy as she leaned against the table he was at. Of course, no one would know better and her drink was half empty.

To anyone else aside from herself and Sly, it looked like a cocktail of incredibly high alcoholic content. Enough to fool even the skilled beverage creators, but alas, this was a somewhat... Special mix.

"I couldn't help but notice someone as good looking as you here, but really, don't you think you could do better than someone like her?" Lexia said with a rather joyful smile. "But really, don't you think that this party is a little... noisy?" She asked, before pausing for a few moments, "And my names Abigail, by the way." Lexi gave him a small wink, before leaning forward, her outfit more than showing her cleavage to the man opposite herself. She seemed not to really care about it, not like any other girl here was. However, the name was something that she was going to go by, especially as she didn't want to cause him to be on guard.

As Rafael continued to woo this lass, he was about to take a drink. Before the brim even touched his lips, he saw the man approaching the newcomer. He knew this was the club owner, and he knew the man was with this girl. It did not look like they were anywhere beyond acquaintances. It was his fault that the girl preferred Rafael over his gold arse. He started to get suspicious when their conversation was taking quite the long time. Then again, maybe he was just welcoming a new face to the club. Or even better, trying to find another girl. Yeah, that sounds about right. So he thought he could just ditch the lass before him and find another? Though Rafael had to admit, this newcomer was much more prettier than her.

Then they broke their conversation, and Rafael quickly went back to talking with the lass, deciding to take his arm off the bench and slip the narcotic back inside his sleeve. No. He wanted to aim for the top prize. He had the experience after all. The flirty tone he had with her quickly dropped, and it was just down to casual talk. His heart started to race when the new girl suddenly took interest in him. Weird. He thought she was going to be with the lousy owner. But then again, those were some fine mounds. The groove in the middle distracting him, a split second of some... intimate thoughts... before he shook his head. Rather slightly and in an almost comically surprised fashion.

"Aaa... A-ahem! 'Scuse me, you caught me off-guard there, pretty lass," he said, an eyebrow raised. Almost instantly he forgot he was talking to another girl, as he swung on the swivel stool to face her, with well-practised grace and smooth movements, slowly folding a leg over another and resting his elbow on the bench, right at the moment he stopped spinning. Nailed it. "Abigail hmm? Mind if I call you Abby? Name's Rafael. Or you can call me, Raffy." His voice was low, soft and tender on the last word, ashe leaned a little closer. "Or you can call me anything you want, babe." His eyes scanned her up and down. Instantly he forgave her for the somewhat odd entrance and talk with the club owner. Her beauty... and maybe what's between her legs... could pay off that bill.

"So what brings you to Edolas? And this club? And... myself, B-abby?"

Lexia's heart skipped a beat as she realised just how pathetic this man really was. However, the look in her eyes didn't leave, a smile on her face. She knew that Sly would be able to see every movement made by either of them, it was a rather fitting area of choice. Right in the line of the bar, able to see the ladies coming and going. And she had to admit, she was one of the more... Good looking ladies which were at this party.

She smiled, her head tilted to the side at his little "trick" of sorts as he spun the chair to face her. The words seemed well rehearsed, slipping from his tongue with relative ease, more so than she was expecting. A tone in his voice seemed to lull his partners into a false sense of security. "My apologies for catching you off guard... But really, if that is easier for you to call me, then sure, Rafael." Lexia said with a smile, eyes softening a little.

It really, really helped that she could see Sly out of the corner of her eyes. But she didn't let him know that the only reason she was still calm and so kind towards him was because of that simple fact.

Inwardly, but showing no external acts, she sighed. Her mouth tugged into a wide grin, leaning a little further forward onto the table as a metal finger slowly drew circles over the rim of her glass. The babe was getting to her, but her eyes showed non of her discomfort, simply "lost" in the males handsome appearance and alluring voice.

Her black hair fell over the front of her shoulder, a small laugh leaving her lips. "I believe that 'Raffy' seems to suit a rather respectable gentleman such as yourself." She almost choked at those words, but assured that she didn't let it be seen that way. 'Gentleman'. She hoped Sly didn't hear that. She laughed gently, "Time and chance is for this party, my friends were here and practically begged me to come by. Of course, I'm yet to get to them... But, inwardly, I have to admit, I wished to find something much more entertaining at a party like this. For me, they seem so dull at times. But a gentleman like yourself, someone who truly is a more... Outstanding man," She rose her glass, like a mini toast to that, before placing it down once more, and continued those small circles.

"You are respectable, handsome, and you truly deserve more than what that... woman was going to give you." She stated, with a small spark in her eyes.

"So, what do you say...? Wanna leave these clubs and... Go somewhere that will be much more entertaining, and not to mention enjoyable, than this obnoxious place?"

Rafael chuckled a little, swirling his glass as he studied her frame once more. It was a bit jarring that such a beautiful body was met with the cold steel that was her arm, but he was willing to overlook that. Her words were very enticing indeed, and inviting. Perhaps too inviting. But she was a young a girl, and maybe one of those... experimental types. He liked that. Rafael paid little attention to how she called him a gentleman. That word was already long lost to him, and he would rather find enjoyment elsewhere from this party. And as quickly as possible.

"Ooh," he said, leaning back a little, still with that playful expression. "So eager aren't you Babe? But you are right. This is starting to become a really.. dull place. Let's say we move into a more... private place shall we?" He said, leaning close again, and placing a hand on her leg. "I will tell you what. I know a place much better than here. Beyond your wildest dreams. But there is a payment." He slid a bit closer across the bench, and moved his hand from her leg. "How about a kiss?"

As he asked, his other arm moved off from the bench after hovering over her glass.

Lexia grinned slightly, "Can you blame me for being eager to get out of this hellhole, Raffy?" She challenged gently, and she almost froze when she felt his hand against her, the fact that he leaned forward and even touched her leg causing a wave of discomfort through her. However, she did her utmost best to ignored it, smiling gently to him as she leaned forward herself.

She could have sworn she heard a glass crack at that.

The man wanted a kiss did he? What was the price that she was willing to pay, especially with his hand over her glass...

She made a note NOT to touch that, and this man, certainly wasn't really up to any good here. Internally she shrugged. Better be to her than others.

Or at least. That's what she thought.

She stuck her nose up at him.

"Why don't you find out how I can kiss some other way."

She stated coldly, before she pushed herself away from the table and him away from her as well.

There was no was she would kiss a bastard like him.

With that thought in mind, she left, uttering a quick word with the owner so he would know just who that creep was. And with that, the owner would take care of the drink spiker.

Lexia, however, practically stormed out of the bar, struggling to hold back her tears.

She'd never go for an exam again.
